1. On 10/13/23, the CVS employee didn't tell my husband why the medication was not approved by the doctor when he picked up one of two medications I was prescribed. I never got a text nor call to tell me what was happening. \\ 2. On Saturday (10/14/23) morning, I had to call CVS to find out why my insurance had not approved my medication. \\ 3. The employee (woman)who spoke too but I didn't get her name told me the reason and told me I had to call the ER and have a doctor change the name of the medication so my insurance could cover it. After 20 minutes of trying to reach an ER doctor, the doctor told me she didn't understand WHY the pharmacy employee didn't call them that they (pharmacist)normally call so they can tell the doctor what generic meds are covered by the insurance.\\ 4. I had to call CVS back to tell them to call. This time, I spoke to Vincent. I explained to him what the doctor had told me, and he had the bravery to tell me that it sounded like laziness to him. I asked him, \\\\\\\" From what side?\\\\\\\" He told me from the ER side. To me, I think Vincent was out of his professional boundaries stating the ER doctors were being lazy. The doctors are so BUSY that they don't have time to explain to a patient over the phone what a pharmaceutical employee needs to do. \\ 5. My QUESTION TO CVS IS \\\\\\\"WHY\\\\\\\" didn't the employee on Friday call/fax about my medication. I had to start my medication on Friday, not Saturday. If I hadn't called, no one from CVS would have called me about my meds. \\ 6. I have been with CVS at Target for many years, but it's looking like I need to transfer my prescriptions to another company other than CVS. I will definitely look into when I feel better.
