I would say this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Their attention to detail goes above and beyond. My family of 5 got one of their deluxe rooms. We paid extra for the cot (basically a twin size bed that was amazing!) and it was waiting in our room when we arrived. Also in our room upon arrival was a great personalized welcome letter describing their amenities, a popcorn bucket filled with all kinds of goodies. Complimentary water was on the counter as well.We had a “turn down service” each night. They left chocolates on the bed and a menu for breakfast along with extra waters. It was so nice to come back from the parks and have this little extra bonus.Breakfast..wow! It was so nice to fill out the paper, hang it on our door and the sweet little lady would bring ALL our requests, even the little condiments, in a basket every morning. It was so nice not having to leave our room and eat. No limitations on the quantity and it was just perfect. My kiddos said the donuts were really good!! The croissant with egg and cheese was good too.Trolly ride…it’s so neat how each driver has their own special touch. One had my daughter ring the bell and then he had the whole shuttle sing happy birthday to her! Another had a little Mickey hand and was waving to everyone.I can’t say enough good things about this place. Again, probably the BEST place so have stayed. The rooms are super clean! The grounds are very well kept. The people are super sweet! They are super close to the park and you can easily walk if needed. The gym doesn’t open until 7 (wish it was earlier but it’s next to a room so that makes sense) but you get in some much walking anyway from going to the parks!!Thank you Candy Cane Inn for such. An amazing time! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!

Absolutely the best place to stay when staying off property for Disneyland. 10-minute easy walk. Fabulous breakfast that is included. Security on site. The cleaning people are top-notch. Would stay again!!

Just have to leave a review for the amazing experience we had at this place. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile by Jeremy. I have to mention that I appreciate him asking if I had a AAA card that I can use for discounts, because while I was aware that this place does that, I was too shy to mention it :) Thanks to him for being so approachable and calling us up when our room was ready earlier than 3pm!The breakfast the next day was good and hot and had plenty of variety. Kudos to the breakfast staff for being so attentive, I saw another guest put back a tray that he had been carrying around and a staff member quickly and discreetly removed it, ensuring that only clean trays will be used by the next guests. I work in a hospital so that action impressed me a lot, great job maintaining the cleanliness of the food service area. After a long hot day at Disneyland it was a pleasure to relax in the spotlessly clean rooms. The TV had a lot of entertainment options, the AC was blowing good and cold, the bathrooms were updated with a ventilation fan and a door that's actually thicker than a couple of kleenexes (just a pet peeve of mine staying in hotels). Linens and pillows were nice and fresh. The area around the inn is quiet, we always saw a security officer keeping watch on the property. There's a trolley but we opted to walk, and it's about a ten minute walk to Disneyland on wide sidewalks with pretty flowers on the side. We felt perfectly safe doing so, as there were a lot of park goers walking around too.We have family planning to go to Disneyland too and I already told them don't stress over finding a place to stay, Candy Cane Inn is THE spot. Thank you to all staff for giving us such a wonderful experience! It's been a pleasure visiting!

Me and my wife and family really enjoyed our stay here at Candy Cane. The convenience of the location close to Disneyland is a huge thumbs up for me. Plus they have a shuttle that takes you to the park.I also enjoyed their amenities: the complimentary breakfast ? they can deliver to your room on request and the cleanliness of the rooms. The hot tubs near their pools is a great way to relax too.My only complaint of the rooms is the walls are very thin so we could constantly hear everyone and their families passing by talking as well as noise from the other rooms. But that is expected since it’s an older hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again when we come back to Disneyland! ? ❤️

When I saw last year, I said I would like to stay in that hotel, but wasn't a good idea, on the second day, they didn't clean the room, we didn't have clean towels and also the bed makes a lot a noise, if I move everyone wake up, we went to the lobby to ask for more shower towels, they said we send you some and they never did.

We stayed here for a few days for our Disney leg of our journey and I was very happy with our stay the proximity to the park is walking distance even when you been walking all day its not bad to walk to the inn but they have a shuttle that goes there and back all day. Their breakfast was impressive so many options for the family nothing like other hotels “breakfast” this was enough to start anyones day. The hotel was small but im not staying in the hotel all day we were going to the park. The room was clean and all the staff were super nice and helpful. The pool is heated and there is a hot tub and a kiddie pool.Rooms: Small but clean and full of amenitiesWalkability: Disney is very walkable from hereFood & drinks: The breakfast was a feast and there are local restaurants across the street

This was our first time staying in a hotel and our expectations were exceeded. Upon arrival front desk was very friendly check in was easy. We also saw a room getting cleaned up they were cleaning the window very throughly and that was a great first impression. This place is honestly AMAZING! From free parking to free DELICIOUS breakfast (waffles, 3 cereals, breakfast croissants which was our favorite, fruit, oatmeal, yogurts, donuts, bread, coffee, juice you name it.) They have a heated pool which we did not get to enjoy but we will next time. They have a trolley and a close walking distance to the park. Close by was a CVS and a walgreens. All the employees here were so nice. The beds and pillows were SO COMFORTABLE the rooms were spotless. Having security there at all times was really nice it made us feel safe. Overall 15/10 experience we can not wait to be back. Thank you Candy Cane Inn

I can’t say enough good things. We stayed here for the first time, last week and are already booked to return in August for my 40th Birthday! First off, every single staff we encountered was beyond friendly! From the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, shuttle driver - everyone was exceptional! The room was spotless and sooooo many little things, that were so awesome! It was like they took all the things other hotels were missing and ensured, they didn’t miss them too! Make up mirror, amazing lighting, low light nightlight in bathroom, alarm clocks you can see 3 ways and even NICE toilet paper! I feel like, they truly invest back to the guest in every part of the property! The pool and outside area was immaculate and beautiful, the breakfast was mind blowing how good and how much was offered for a free breakfast! The shuttle, is adorable and reliable and sooooo friendly! We even witnessed the driver waving at kids at a red light with a Mickey hand on. Just sooo above and beyond! They are now, hands down our #1 stay on our visits to the parks - it’s a long drive from Canada when we come and they even have free parking!!! I have not a single negative thing to say or a single thing I’d change. The stay and staff were wonderful and we can’t wait to return ! Thanks for such a great experience! P.S the Mickey ruggable in the room, was such a fun touch!Rooms: Beautiful, comfortable and well decorated!Nearby activities: Super close to Disneyland!Safety: They had security on site the whole time, thought this was fabulous!Walkability: Easily walk to the parks! 8 min walk!Food & drinks: Wonderful included breakfast

My husband and I recently visited Disneyland for the first time. The Resorts were way out of our budget so I did a lot of research on the hotels surrounding Disneyland. I finally decided on Candy Cane Inn. It was AMAZING!! I had read it had been renovated in the past few years. It was so nice! The lobby was gorgeous and modern looking. There was an urn of water and fruit flavored water for guests. The front desk staff were very helpful. We arrived around 11:00 am and they took care of our luggage while we explored Disney Springs. I had sent them an email prior to the trip to make sure they had to correct credit card on file. I mentioned that it was our 36th wedding anniversary and they offered to move us to a King Size bed at a lower price. I gladly accepted that offer. When we went to our room, there were 6 delicious cookies waiting for us in celebration of our anniversary. A very nice touch. The room was beautiful. I fell in love with the wallpaper in the room. It was very nice gray subtle striped pattern that I’d for sure put in my house. There were several goodies on the bathroom counter in individual packages; cotton swabs, a shower cap, a manicure kit, cotton rounds for makeup removal, and a comb. Way more things than you get at most hotels. The beds. My goodness. My husband and I both agreed that was the most comfortable bed we had EVER slept on. It was way nicer than the mattress we just purchased a few years ago for a ridiculous price. I meant to ask them what brand it was because it was awesome. If it was sold to the public I’d buy one. And the king-size pillows were also wonderful. We are both very picky about our pillows but they were perfect. Not too hard and not too soft. I’d buy those as well if I knew the brand name. The A/C worked great and my husband froze me to death the entire time! The grounds were gorgeous. They spend a lot of time and money on their landscaping and it was beautiful. The pool was very nice and you felt like you were in a tropical paradise. The breakfast was delicious and filling. They had breakfast sandwiches every morning on a large croissant with different fillings. There was bacon/egg/cheese, sausage/egg/cheese, ham/cheese and others. All kinds of pastries, 3 types of bagels, coffee cakes, toast, oatmeal, 3 types of juice, hot chocolate, coffee, boiled eggs, cereals, and cheese cubes. They also had a beautiful selection of fruit and whoever cut that fruit is an expert with a knife. Gorgeous thin slices all displayed professionally. I almost hated to grab some because it was so pretty! But I did! Kiwi, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, orange. It was all very tasty and fresh. There was also a large basket with bananas, apples and oranges. Again the staff was everywhere making sure things got replenished and everything stayed clean. There is a cute trolley that makes trips to the parks and back every hour. We managed to catch it a few times and it was a nice break after walking so much.It was very quiet even though it’s on a busy street and California Adventure is directly behind the hotel. We stayed in Room 225 and it was perfect. There were ice machines throughout the hotel. We are heavy water drinkers and we didn’t think they’d appreciate us filling out Yeti cups multiple times a day from their water urns in the lobby. We walked down the block to a CVS and grabbed some large jugs of water and a 6 pack to take to the parks. That worked out well. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the parks depending on the redlight you had to wait at. There was a nicely landscaped area with a wide sidewalk. There were always people around and we felt very safe.Candy Cane Inn was a fabulous place to stay and I’d definitely stay there again. The staff were all wonderful. The premises, location, breakfast, and ambience were exceptional. We loved it.

What can I say besides WOW FANATIC AMAZING BEAUTIFUL. My daughter and I had a Disney trip Our room was very clean. It included a safe, small refrigerator, hair dryer, your normal toiletries but also included a comb, Q-tips and a shower cap wow. There was a coffee maker with coffee and a small light up mirror for makeup and hair. This was in addition to a big mirror. There was also a cute Mickey rug for an added Disney touch!Lots of nearby areas to walk to easily restaurants ,stores ,garden walk mall, beautiful palm tree streets with changing color lights. We rented a car but never used it no need.We felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area. There was a security guard at the entrance just to make sure no one entered the property that didn't belong there.Disney Parks and Downtown Disney are just a short walk if you decide not to take the hotels free trolley. But you try it once very nice so cute and driver was top notch friendly. The breakfast was above and beyond it had So many choices of food, hot food, cold food, oatmeal ,waffles ,tons of fruit, pastries I can’t even name them all. I’ve never seen a breakfast buffet at a hotel like this.. The kitchen staff was great at keeping the foods stocked throughout the breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious!!The hotel is VERY clean!! From the rooms, to the grounds, to the eating area. Everyone was super friendly, all staff included. We had the best time and this hotel made it even more specialNearby activities: Every this you would need is within walking distance

Super clean resort with the friendliest staff! Breakfast & parking are a HUGE bonus. The remodeled rooms are very sleek. The walkability to Disney, Gardenwalk & Convention Center are the cherry on top. They also have a trolley you can take and the driver was super helpful to families with strollers and even let the kids ring the bell (so cute). We will definitely be back !!Rooms: Newly remodeled, comfortable beds, cold min refrigerator, hot shower.Nearby activities: Walkable to Disney, Gardenwalk & Convention Center.Food & drinks: Breakfast was bagels, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, coffee, hot chocolate, juices & black tea.
