After a long search for a reliable company to do our dream kitchen, we ended up with CA Kitchen floors and baths.
Not only we got our dream kitchen exactly the way we wanted it, we saved over 40 thousand dollars too.
The owner of the company made sure the work was done right and he visited to inspect the work regularly.
We couldn’t be any happier with our choice and look forward to having them come back and do more work for us in the future.
I highly recommend you shop around and then go to CA KItchen to see the difference in price, service and quality.

5 Stars From Start to Finish!
CA Kitchens Floors & Baths is, without question, the best family-owned home renovation company in Southern California. Over the years, I have hired many contractors, including those from Costco and Home Depot, expecting better-vetted quality but often ending up disappointed.
I initially hired CA Kitchens to remodel my master bathroom to test their work and am now moving forward with remodeling our kitchen. From the very moment we visited the showroom, we were greeted with professionalism and kindness by the owner, Elias, his wife, and his sales team. We were extremely impressed with the high-quality contemporary material samples, and they quoted us a very good price for both labor and materials, staying within our budget.
The agreement process was straightforward, and they paid close attention to all the details we discussed before starting the job. Throughout the process, I felt that the owner and each member of their team took great pride in their work.
No one likes to have their family life disrupted by strangers and ongoing work, but this team understands that and goes out of their way to minimize disruptions. While at our home, the workers were always courteous, respectful, and professional. Even after we requested several changes to our original plans, the job was completed on time, and we were delivered an amazing new bathroom as promised!
As a professional psychologist with a good sense of character judgment, I have counseled many who have made promises to change, but failed to follow through. And I especially appreciated working with Elias and his wife who truly "walk the talk." Throughout the entire process, they were always accessible, managed their workers and work efficiently, made onsite inspections to review progress, and ensured we were satisfied. They reiterated that their primary goal is to do the job right. I believe them to be driven by faith, integrity, honesty, and principle, and this was evident throughout the project.
My positive impression was further validated by a city inspector who, while reviewing the work and permit, mentioned that in his experience with Elias and his company across different cities, they consistently do quality work by the book and are highly reputable. More importantly, our bathroom was up to code, looked great to him, and we were good to go!
I highly recommend CA Kitchens Floors & Baths without hesitation and am hiring them to upgrade our kitchen and other projects.

CA Kitchens did a complete kitchen remodel for me. New beautiful white shaker cabinets, along with quartz countertops and gorgeous backsplash. We enlarged my existing island which makes it much more useful. It is not often you have a great experience with a building contractor, but I did with Elias and CA Kitchens. they performed as promised, and did the project for a great price. I'm very happy.

Beware…if it sounds too good, don’t do it, walk away!
Be careful if you decide to sign a contract with this company. I encourage you to do your research on this company. Sort Yelp reviews by; newest first, filter by rating; one star and see all the similar issues and pay attention to the unprofessional business responses. Mr. Elias Mazloum contractor license has been revoked, you can look this up on the Contractor State License Board (license 924081) and the business is now working under Ms. Faten Mazloum’s contractor license, their business model has NOT changed!
We contracted for 12 weeks, complete home remodel, including plumbing repipe. I worked with Richard, the salesperson, for a few months, before signing the contract. Elias and Richard made a lot of promises and commitments to get the contract signed. The company MISREPRESENTED and failed on every level, timeline, promises, commitments, poor quality of materials (Home Depot defect/returns), poor workmanship (handypersons from Craig’s List,), non-license professionals. They do nothing custom as promised, my project looks like a DIY gone wrong.
We were adamant that all cabinets be custom built and made in the USA, this was non-negotiable for us. Richard said that the cabinets would be custom built in their shop in Huntington Beach, CA, they do not have a shop in HB. Cabinets were delivered in boxes from Malaysia. The cabinets are flipper grade or lower, worst cabinets ever! Make sure the contract/SOW clearly states custom cabinets, manufacturer/brand of cabinets, etc. Cabinets are cracked, chipping, dents, marks, non-aligned properly, etc. flooring is failing and everything they touched looks like a DIY project. The poor quality of materials and poor workmanship does not equal the premium price I paid.
Starting with week 1 demo, I should have seen the writing on the wall, workers showed up 2 days the first week, a week or so would go by and no one showed up, this was the pattern for several months. No project manager on-site, Elias rarely physically inspected the project after each phase, approved their employee’s work, only via facetime or photos.
Make sure that permits are pulled as they will take every short cut possible, even if it is a code violation. I am thankful that someone turned our house into the City, as the electrical work in my house was truly unsafe.

SHADY Business.
We contracted with Richard (Sales Manager) to have extensive home remodeling done.
We were assured of only licensed electricians and plumbers, 2 crews everyday working both floors, and "expert quality"
In reality there was never a project manager. Not 1 day. Elias, the owner manages by looking at the photos his workers text him and telling them what to do.
For instance, he decided, that despite Richard's promises, the floor slab did not need leveling (which we paid for) and then they installed flooring without any vapor barrier, which voids the warranty. The floor is now splitting just months after installation.
Electrical was done by a "handyman", not to code, and an outlet singed in the first week.
Plumbing installed wrong has leaked and now a full bathroom demo and redo is required to meet code.
When they forgot to move a light switch to the proper height and then tiled around it, Elias told us we would have to pay an additional $1000 to have them correct their mistake. See the picture- that was their solution
We were impressed when told trash would be picked up at the end of every workday. Unfortunately not true. See the photo of the 2 weeks of trash that had piled up.
Elias just yells, refuses to fix things, promises he will and then completely abandons after payment. He also lost a week by refusing to correct what the city inspector had required. Arguing that " he didn't know anything..." You can't make this up.
EVERYTHING has failed (flooring, cabinets, countertops, electrical and plumbing). We had workers here for less than 1/2 of the time available.
Check the license history on their prior company Nu Kitchens at the State License Board. We wish we had done this prior.

Please do not use this company. On the very first days, it was a disaster sending wrong tile products, and insisting they are correct. No supervision or project manager on the job at any time, relying on some contractors that were questionable?? Elias is very un professional and rude. He does not care for his customers or the pride in their work, only wants your check.. He always has an excuse and thinks it is ok to swap products and services without your permission.
Go elsewhere.

Great company and nice selection of products to choose from when remodeling. They remodeled our entire house and did a great and thorough job. Our bathrooms and kitchen backdrop and counters look well done and professional. I would recommend this company for your next house remodeling job.

This review is based on the experience of my grandfather, Larry Thatcher of Cypress, CA.
If you ever consider doing business with this company, you should reconsider fast.
I signed a contract with them on 1/17/23 to replace my tile countertops with granite counter tops, for $8,680.00. The job was completed on 2/9/23. On the day of completion, a man from their office called to tell me I owed an additional $130.00 for sink parts and to leave the check blank. I questioned the man putting the sink together and asked him why I'm paying extra since I had provided the clamps, new hose for garbage disposal drain, garbage disposal, and drain hardware. He told me he had provided an air gap which is about a $10 item. I did not leave the check blank.
Two months later, 4/9/23, the granite had broken on a high point right at the front of the sink. I called weekly, attempting to schedule a repair. A man was finally sent out to inspect the break on 6/9/23. I was told he did not have his repair tools on hand and would have to return the following Monday, 6/12. I waited the entire day and he never showed up. I called back repeatedly with no response. On 6/19/23, the company stated that no one claimed they would repair the stone. In their words I “picked a faulty stone” and was responsible for it’s repair. This did not sit well with me.
I visited the main office in Anaheim on 6/22/23. I was met with a rude, foul-mouthed person named Elias. He maintained that the stone I picked was faulty and prone to breaking. I informed him I had only picked out the style and color of the stone, not the actual slab of stone. Also, I told him the reason for the break was a high point in front of the sink that had not been addressed by the installers. When a level was placed over that point, it rocked.
He offered to replace the counter top if I paid for a new stone. I accepted that offer to get the matter resolved. I was directed to Best Cheer Stone, Inc, where I was told they would provide the stone to CA Kitchens. I hadn’t heard a word from anyone for 2 weeks when Elias finally came over on 7/7/23 to look at the counter. He told me he would replace the broken part as soon as they received the stone. I haven’t heard a word from anyone at CA Kitchens since that day.
I found an ad for Sureshine Care and Restoration Services, specializing in granite repair, and reached out for a quote. On 9/18/23, they repaired the crack for $750.00. To me, that was worth it to no longer deal with CA Kitchens. I will be giving Sureshine a 5-Star review.
As of the date of this review, CA Kitchens has still not reached out. They are unaware I’ve had the granite repaired.
This company has a major weak point when it comes to attention to detail, customer service, follow-up and communication when an issue arises. If you value these attributes as a customer, I would advise you not to do business with this company.

Over the last two years we have hired Elias and his crew to remodel two bathrooms in our home, and we just finished a third smaller project with him this week. All were wonderful experiences with excellent results. We worked with him from design to the finished product. This is an honest company that provides an excellent product at a fair price.
