I would like to acknowledge and commend the excellent customer service at the Avis Anaheim location for The man named Luis, who was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. I enjoyed his, kind, and respectful services. Not only did he give top notch customer service. (I own 2 business throughout O.C. AND KNOW THE IIMPORTANCE OF GOOD C.S ) He upgraded my Vehicle at no cost and after I brought the car back it had accured several charges during which they were correct ..,but Luis told me that he would help me with them. i'm very happy with Luis, he had me in and out so fast I couldn't beleive it. I actually have never experienced exceptional client service from a car rental. He went over and beyond great hospitality. Luis is the reason im changing my business car rentals over to Avis. i'm a really satisfied customer

There's absolutely nothing wrong about the cars, the picking and returning from this location. It's well placed, visible from the main road, close to Disney and all the good things that come with a good location. The service desk however is perhaps manned by the most rude person Avis can hire. I sincerely hope that the rental company can do something about the countless reviews they are receiving on this certain individual- Luis. This isn't the first time I've rented from him (unfortunately the other rentals in this area closed during/after the pandemic so I'm not left with much options here). EVERY time I've spoken to him, he has been impolite. Even with simple questions like- can you please tell me what make of a car I'm getting. Agreed, he's doing his job by taking info in and renting cars out. I've gotten what I needed (i.e. a car), every time I've visited. But there is a basic level of human courtesy and politeness that is expected of anyone offering a service to another. Others working in this facility are absolutely normal to interact with. Luis on the other hand will make you think you're responsible for his miserable attitude.

During the summer shortage of rental cars in 2021, this location saved my vacation. I had booked a rental with a competitor months in advance. They had zero cars upon my arrival and others were there waiting ahead of me. I called Budget/Avis on Katella and they helped me right away and the price was similar to what I had booked months before at the competitor.I've rented from this location several times in the past and now they're the only ones I trust because they don't overbook their rentals. Thank you so much!

Wish I can give zero stars. Terrible customer service. Don't understand how this location is still open. Luis did not bother to help us even when they had allowed our reservation time to be conflicting with their closing time. DO NOT COME HERE.

Did not respect the policy corporate has for military, called corporate and they said that the offer for military was valid supposably was talking to the store "manager" if that was the manager then Idek how that store is still open. Customer service a 0. Would not go here.

We rented a mini van for a week and the staff was very nice and helpful. We were supposed to bring our car back by 4pm because that's the time they close. The customer service attendant specifically told me this. On our way back I knew we were not going to make it back by 4 as traffic was horrible. We called and Luis took really good care of us. He told us to not worry about it and to drive back safely and calmly. He said he understood LA traffic is horrible and we could bring the van back by 8am the following day. And that is exactly what we did. Ask for Luis. He will take good care of you.

They scheduled us to pick up the car at 4 PM. When we arrived at 4 PM to pick up our car, Luis (the dude up front) said they closed at 4 PM. They scheduled 4 PM. They deadass told me they closed at 4 PM. What the actual fuck?

I thought the front desk guy was super nice. He asked how many people I'd have in the car and offered a bigger car for the same price. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. He's all business and I appreciate that. The price is right as well!

This is the worst ever customer service I've ever experienced. The front desk has the worst attitude and I guess he is upset as I'm in here at 8AM. Don't go here and yes this is my first and last with this rental car branch!!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It's a shame how many negative reviews are up in regards to front desk person Luis. He was the worst employee I've ever interacted with. He explained nothing at all, and left me with no rental at the end and they overcharge you for everything. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE AND LUIS NEEDS TO BE FIRED. He is so bitter, will not greet you at all (customer service 101), talks in such an arrogant tone and is clearly just so unhappy in his real life it transfers over to his work.

Went here to rent a car because I needed to rent one for a trip up north. However, the person assisting me at the front was very rude and condescending. After I got the car, the owner/front desk person did not show me how to turn it on or the car's features. And on top of that, the tank wasn't even full! When I told him about this, he said "ehhh, just bring it back like how it is. It's fine." No sir, it's not fine. When I come to Avis, I expect a full tank of gas. Overall, terrible customer service experience. Will not be coming back here again unless the person at the front is let go.
