Shady owner and cashier. Adds fees to charges if you don’t pay attention. Very dishonest place.

I drove up to the store and immediately noticed that the parking lot was empty. First bad sign. I walked in and politely said hi to the cashier, completely ignored it like a douche bag. Second bad sign. I didn't think much of it, but you'll find out why I called the cashier a douche bag at the end of this review. I got what I came in here for - Bag of chips (typical $1 bag) and a bottle of wine ($7.99 and it was on "special"). At the register I noticed they charge a .60 cent fee to use a debit card so I decided to pay in cash. The total came out to 12.47, which I thought was pricey for what I just bought. When asked the price of the items, this dude stutterred and threw out random numbers for each. Right there and then he knew that I knew he was overcharging me by $1 and some change. I left it alone because now I know why this place is empty - its for a reason. Never coming back.

This place was a convince to come to until the cashier got upset that I was only spending $1. I've been here on multiple occasions and I wasn't aware that they were keeping track of all the money WE'VE spent there. Last time WE ever go there. It sucks because one sour associate ruins the image of the rest of your team. Later bees, catch us at 7-11 "oh thank heaven"!

I walked in looking for a $12.99 remy Vsop cognac which is $1 less that beach blvd and ball liquor store. Hey I was like I save a dollar. Every experience I have had with this liquor store (2) was pleasant until I met Mr. Young I got balls to refuse your service. I took three 20 ounce can Cokes with a perceived knowledge that they were in comparison to their competitors price (I have gotten them for $1 there before). So as soon as I walked to the counter I asked how much is every unit. He replied as if I was checking out it is 5 and some cents. Within me I was like that is is expensive and it counters the purpose of why I walked in here in the first place (to save a miserable dollar). I told him that's too expensive. And I asked I thought that they were 99 cents. He said they are what they say they are there. I thought to myself, ok let's go choose a better deal. When I did, I found these beautiful 12 ounce Mexican cokes that clearly said 99 cents under which they sat. Th clerk clearly had said whatever the price is there it is what they are. I walked towards the counter thinking of my remy and I asked these are 99 cents right. He said no that is not what they say. Not a bottle tagged but underneath of where I found them said 99 cents. Frustrated about the fact that I had purchased their 20 ounce aluminum cokes before at nearly 99c and being told that I was wrong that I saw clearly around 20 Mexican bottle cokes at 99c each, I walked off and told him that I no longer wanted anything. He said ok and let me go. I felt that I was being discriminated because I looked dirty and worked. Yes I am a big man that works hard at his ecommerce business. If I know from my experience with customers, that is not how you treat them or do you change their prices to what it is being advertised. I felt violated especially when I was being watched by him over choosing 3 cokes, yes this is a liquor store but that does not mean that every person that walks I your store you have to snipe over what they choose to buy. You choose the area and that does not mean that everyone behave like it. I would clearly choose another liquor store around if you want to avoid prejudice about the type of customer that you are. Clearly I am not the best customer at looks. I have served customers for over 10+ years an this is not how you treat them. Good luck with Bees liquor. Update March 30, 2015 I went there again because I found my preferable liquor store closed at the time. I chimed into the store and looked to see if mr . I got balls and don't need your biz here was there to walk out. But I found the clerk that I had always walked into this store to. I did not have time to test him but I was greeted like he always has (good experience). I told him about the precious experience and even told me his schedule. I would update this review but that clerk last time needs to be let go cause it was sure a bad one. Yelpers if you are close to this liquor store and have no other option go. There is going to be a good or bad experience. I'll update once I know that this fellow is no longer there.

Went there on 8/26/2013 to buy tortillas. Found some but they were in a clear plastic wrapper with no writing on it. I had no idea where they were from, how old they were, or anything else. I asked the guy working there where they were from, and he said "Why? Is there something wrong with them?" I said "No, I was just wondering where you got them from" he said "If you don't like them, don't buy them" OK I won't, and I won't be buying anything else from your store either. Sorry you're having a bad day...don't take it out on me...and he never answered the question. Shady!
