We have used bay alarm for 3 years and never had any issue. All went smoothly and when I asked to cancel because we were moving, they did cancel without any problem. Customer service was always there, and if I had any issues they would come and check that everything was working ok.
I do not understand all the bad reviews.

We recently installed a Bay Alarm system in our home and are tremendously pleased with the program. The installation was easy and the program is very easy to use.

Do not use this company if you can avoid it. Unfortunately, the property management company for my neighborhood has contracted with Bay Alarm. Twice in recent months, their alarms have failed and gone off in the middle of the night and for some reason between Bay, the property management, and the Fire Authority, it has taken an absurd amount of time to resolve. I consider this all of their faults for various reasons; however, I will limit this review to addressing Bay's response time and customer service leaves much to be desired. The most recent incident in which their alarms failed occurred over a month ago, and I have yet to receive a reasonable/acceptable response from Bay. The alarm began going off pre-dawn. It took one of their techs over three hours to arrive to fix the issue; meanwhile, the alarm was going off the entire time. Their initial customer service response from a representative named Leslie was thoughtless and useless. I was connected with a manager named Joseph who has to this moment refused to adequately respond to several of my questions. After several additional emails to customer service/management, I have finally heard from Mitch this morning. He also refused to answer my questions. Both Leslie and Joseph informed me that their "response window" in emergencies is 2 hours, but "sometimes" it takes longer. Apparently, Bay Alarm has absolutely no qualms about customers being subjected to a literal torture method for hours on end while their technicians drive from -- I would say where, because Bay Alarm claims their techs are required to live within a range that allows them to respond to calls; however, they refuse to inform me what that range is or respond to my question about why it took 3 hours for their tech to arrive (apparently it has something to do with having to get dressed and respond to another call in my neighborhood and traverse approximately 100 feet). Given the facts that: 1, their alarms have failed multiple times; 2, their customer service representatives do not even adequately pretend to care; 3, the company refuses to answer basic questions to support claims they make, I can only advise you to avoid this company if you actually want an alarm that will save your life rather than ruin it.

Bay Alarm is a top-notch company. Installation was beyond expectations and the installer was knowledgeable and nice, explained things very well. So far the system has worked very well with no flaws. A++ I highly recommend.

We recently had our business fire alarm installed. Mike Buescher, our technician did a great job. He was conscientious of our needs and methodical and precise in his work. I appreciate a job well done. Thanks Mike

Just hired this company but have had terrible service from them. My alarm keeps going off and have been warned by the police that I will be fined. Their response has been terrible and disappointing.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. We've been with Bay Alarm forever, and always happy. Recently, one of our doors was having problems, either going off when it wasn't supposed to, or not showing it's closed when it really was. IN COMES DERRICK, of Bay Alarm, to the rescue today. He was so great! He not only fixed that particular issue, but went above and beyond to make sure everything else was working efficiently too. He changed an exterior door's setting so the alarm would go off immediately if someone entered (I was happy he did that!), and reviewed and updated the list of windows and doors to match the list I have written to make my list accurate. Bay Alarm, thank you for sending Derrick!! He is the best!!

Hallelujah! I can highly recommend this company and their service technician Chris just came out today he answered every questions and fixed our alarm system. We have been their customer for 10 years now and thank goodness this company has not been negatively impacted by Covid and their level of service has remained the highest standard.

I have been working with Bay Alarm through the Company I work for for many years. We recently expanded and took over a new suite across the hall. We needed a separate alarm installation. Mike Pulido is the technician that did the install. Not only did he do that part of his job well, he went above and beyond and helped me with technical questions and did great onsite follow-up with his office to ensure that I would get what I needed to easily combine the information for the 2 alarms. He was polite and professional as well as knowledgeable. I am relieved and confident that I will get the help and service I need. Thanks Mike P.!

Robert is knowledgeable and efficient. Whenever he comes to our office he is always professional and friendly. Takes the time to explain how he will resolve the issue. Gets it resolved in a timely manner. Very please with his service.

We had a low battery backup that needed replacement. Robert Cruz came to our house on time, was able to replace the battery quickly and get the monitor back up and running. Great experience

Derrick Hatcher was the technician who went above and beyond to solve issues we were having with our business alarm system for some time. He moved cameras, set off alarms, worked with our employees to make sure the system was now working as it was 5 years ago. Thank you to Derrick Hatcher! Couldn't ask for a more personable and capable technician. I would hire him in an instant if he needed a job. I hope I can request him in the future for any service calls we need. Thank you, Derrick

Robert Cruz cameout for a serivce call today and did a great job! He texted when he was on his way and followed up after he left. He was friendly knowledgeable and took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. I'm so happy with their service men and Robert is no exception!
