I bought a Duralast Gold alternator for my 2013 Honda CRV EX-2WD but some how it was not compatible. Battery icon showed up on the dashboard after installing with DTC P16E2 and P065A codes. I had to uninstalled the Duralast Gold and used Denso/Honda alternator.
I've been using Duralast alternators for my other cars and they are very reliable. I think the issue is 2013 Honda CRV only accepting Denso/Honda alternator.

I just got off work and I live very near by this auto zone but never go in. While out for a walk I decided to stop in. NO ONE asked if I needed help or anything until I asked where there was another Autozone because I will not spend my money where it’s not appreciated. I explained that people were standing around talking, etc, (there were several people who could have assisted me) I made sure that I even looked like I was searching for something to be fair. Poor first impression and probably my last time going there. I was there about 8 minutes ago. The nurse with the blue scrub top on and black scrub bottoms . Check the cameras if you’d like to see what I’m talking about. I was just so sadly disappointed to be honest. Especially because I live so close to this auto zone.

Aaron and his team helped me diagnose the problem in my car.
I thought my starter went bad, but I brought my car here, and his team tested my battery. The battery came out bad, so I got a new one. Before I installed it, though, I asked to check purchase history, and we found out that my bad battery was still under warranty. So they gave me my money back and swapped the bad battery for a new one.
After I installed the new battery, I turned on the key ignition. My car got the same kick that it had before problems started. I'm so glad i didn't have to buy anything unnecessary and nothing at ALL.

Stock not correct in system. After driving 20min to get there, the kid working there had no idea what was going on in the world around him and clearly had absolutely zero interest in being there, didn’t want to look anything up to help, didn’t offer to contact another store, and was just all around unfriendly.
