“This place is absolutely amazing! So many trinkets to look through you could spend hours in here. The staff is so kind, I was buring time waiting for a train and when I burnt a little too much and had to go they were able to hold onto my pile with no problem. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the prices were reasonable. The owner, Suzanne, was lovely to talk to and I wish I had found this place sooner. “Wow! The building is literally crammed to the rafters with an awesome collection of items from the past. All beautifully presented and almost all for sale.The collection is constantly changing so it's worth visiting every year.Free entry.Parking is very limited. There is a public toilet.Not sure how you'd go navigating through the building in a wheelchair as some displays are very close together.”

“Was there on Friday, 16th June, 2023, at 5:00pm and the store was open. Entered the store of diverse antiques and collectibles. I enjoyed the variety of items available and my friend and I did make some nice fun purchases. The gentleman that helped us mentioned that they hadn't been opened much this year but were going to try to have regular week day later afternoon hours and some on the weekend. There are two phone numbers listed on Google maps. Not sure if the numbers are active or answered. We were at King Richard's Antique Mall, Whittier, CA, that Friday afternoon and this shop is just north about three blocks. Enjoy!”

“Gilding the Lily is a fascinating shop with about a million and one beads, buttons, findings, vintage jewelry and other fun stuff. Be prepared to linger. The owner is amazing and gives great advice on possible options. Call ahead, not sure of open schedule.”

The owner (I assume) was so helpful, kind, and accommodating; she helped me pick out some last minute Christmas presents! Her prices are truly unbeatable, and she will work with you to help you out.I will definitely be returning here whenever I need a gift for someone. “I met Woody and his mom MANY years ago at an antique show in San Francisco. I have bought many Heywood Wakefield Pieces from him over the years, but never got around to getting over to his store in Orange to find a Heywood Wakefield dining room set. Until earlier this year. I found a buffet at a store here in Phoenix so it was finally time to round up an entire dining room set. We did it all over the phone sending pictures back and forth. And he delivered the refinished table (with leaves), 6 chairs, and smaller buffet with display cabinet to me in April. The set of my dreams! He had me send him a shelf from the buffet I already had and he matched all the other pieces to it perfectly. And the reupholstery on the chairs was 5 star! I am so glad to finally have this set and so happy I was able to get it from Woody. My only regret is I was never able to make it to Orange to see his store front before he closed it this Spring. If you want Heywood Wakefield, source it through Woody. He is the best!”
“Absolutely wonderful place with amazing service. I called from Washington state after seeing their catalog online. They had brackets for my Hoosier that I promise you no one else had. I have been researching and calling for MONTHS and Muff’s popped up on an internet search and the rest is history. Called and within seconds they helped me verify that the part I was looking at was correct, and they shipped it out the next available business day!! Will go nowhere but Muff’s from now on!! “Antique jewelry lover's dream. Their inventory is very well curated and each piece is different from the next. Signets to engagement rings to charms and pocket watches. Super friendly and welcoming. Only downsides is that it can be confusing to get there as you have to pass through the antique mall and sometimes it can be crowded in the space for viewing the jewelry cases.”
