If I could give it zero stars, I would, They have the worst service in solano county. I go to the customer service counter at around 8:45 am; I'm standing there for a good 5 minutes before I finally get the attention of the 5th employee that's walked by me and ask for assistance at the counter. She looks at me and says "oh it's not 9 and she's at lunch". Well common sense is a flower that doesn't grow in everyone's garden clearly because where is the sign saying that the rep will return after Lunch? My very first job was with Safeway and it seems the emphasis on common courtesy has been lost on AC Safeway employees. If you need to go to the grocery store DO NOT go to AC Safeway. You will be disappointed.

I have been consciously avoiding the Safeways, all of them. The last time I popped in, three of the items I checked were expired. I might have waved it off. Except the expiration date was from a year ago. Hopefully that was all Covid. This time when I popped in all of the expiration dates were just fine. Of course, i've been hearing all over yelp that shoplifters had literally gone wild in the Safeway stores. The store had built barricades of food and other items to slow down the shoplifters and the shoplifters just kept sailing through. I was very curious about this, but I noticed the registers and adjacent areas were free of barricades, so it looks like this spat of petty crime has been dealt with when someone grew a spine. I went through the store looking for signs of Covid shortages. Either they did a good job, spreading stuff out, or the shortages are over. I'm certainly happy, and plan to go back to my usual Safeway shopping pattern. Which is to pick up stuff that Costco doesn't sell once or twice a year. To be honest with the Safeway out of commission, I switched to Whole Foods because when you're buying stuff once or twice, a year, you can afford it no matter your budget. Napa is nice.

Drive up and go makes my life so much easier! Tonight when i picked up the person that brought my order, Priscilla, was so friendly. She even ask if i wanted my eggs up front instead of in back so they would be safe. I hadn't even thought about it.

Waited at customer service for 15 mins. All staff ignored us. Employee said they're on a 10 min break after we waited that long. Don't go here and waste your time lmao

Do yourself a favour and never shop here. Whoever manages this place should be fired. I am officially done shopping here. I have given this place so many chances. Today I went in at 5:30 on a Thursday to a packed Safeway with one register open out of 11. There were lines all down the aisles. When I asked the lady at the register why they weren't opening other registers, she said this is all there is. I left all my shopping there and went 10 minutes down the road to Walmart neighbourhood centre that had lots of people checking people out and was in and out with everything I needed in 10 minutes. FU Safeway. Overpriced, long lines. Unpleasant place to shop. Officially done.

I have been purchasing online for home delivery. The orders are processed without the discounts coupons you clip for the products in safeway 4 U. I have called the store and spoke to store rep. She was sympathetic and mentioned that this was a glitch and other customers are noticing the same issue. I have called their online department in the past and was told I should be getting refunded.The problem has nothing to do with the fulfilling store but IT issue. I hope they will contact me and all other consumers they are fraudiing and will refund.

the deli made my sandwiches so nasty. the lady didn't know the ingredients, i asked her for pepper jack cheese and she put cheddar. u could tell she didn't know what she was doing but she was really nice but then some other light skinned guy had came to "help" me and had the most stank attitude. i was standing there waiting for him to say something so i can order and he jus stood there looking at me. like wtf so i was like can i get chicken n he didn't even say anything for like 5 minutes then said "what do you want" .... i was so irritated so i order my plate while he was talking under his breath then he left when i still wanted to order another plate but he had left so i stood there for another 5 minutes til he came back n he didn't say anything AGAIN. i was like can i order n he said "this?? this sh*t cold" so i just left. worst deli.

Waited almost 25 minutes in deli department to get a half a pound of Turkey. Two people were working in entire department. It's ridiculous.

I go to this Safeway a lot & every time I've been here I have good experiences. Sometimes I go here for the $5 sushi fridays & there's always a large selection of different sushi rolls when I buy here, also the sushi here pretty good. I have ordered their salmon poke bowl & the salmon taste fresh. The workers at this Safeway are nice & good. Sometimes the person who prep the sushi would inform me if I want a certain sushi roll to be made & told me that the $5 sushi Fridays comes with a smart water(sometimes they have this deal & sometimes they don't, so ask the employees if they do or check on the Safeway app). This Safeway is clean & have signage of listed goods displayed above at every aisle.

I go here a lot because it's more convenient it is closer than Walmart or any other grocery stores but guys at the meat department need training on customer service, this one particular man stocking meat he knows he is on the way when I asked nicely if he can hand over the meat, he said I can go ahead and get it, but you are on my way sir.!

I feel so sorry for Safeway because there is a very bad staff. woman named Mary. She works at Service counter. But I think she should go to another job. Because of the way she despises customers and discriminates against people. I don't understand why there are tickets sold there, when we come to buy and exchange for those tickets, she doesn't care, and doesn't even care about us even though we got the line to wait for my turn. I later learned that many customers have complained to her. Because she is very disrespectful. If I can meet the manager there. Or maybe the owner there. I think I am not alone. ,which all a lot of people wouldn't want Safeway will lose a lot of customers because of 1 staff like that. I hope you live a life of virtue and benevolence, Mary.! Her name is Mary.short-haired ..!

Dam the Deli. Really. Every dam time - off the chart rudeness. Sometimes its small (failed to cut a sandwich in 1/2)...sometimes its big (5 workers, standing there, no customers, not helping me out). Some Karen went ballistic there a week ago, I even helped pick up after she destroyed a bag of chips spread all over the place.

Overall a very nice story but my experience in the bakery department was dismal. It was my sons birthday and I wanted to buy him a birthday cake. The selection was adequate but I had some questions. After pressing the help button 3+ times over a 10 minute period I gave up and grappled something that looked ok. By the time I made it to the check out stand a lot of the fruit that decorated the top had come off and slid to the side. I told the check out guy I no longer wanted that one and that I would get another. Went back and pressed the button again with no one responding grappled a Tres Leche cake that looked like it had potential. When we served the bottom was so soggy it was falling apart, the cake part was stale, the icing non descript, but the fruit on top the only thing that shined. First, do you need more help so that your customers questions are answered. Do you need more help so that your product doesn't disintegrate before leaving the store. Do you need more help with your inventory so you are not selling stale products. I will still shop there for other things but will avoid the bakery
