Stayed here for one night.
Room did not have black out curtains, light was still shining in the room. Did expect A LOT more of an updated room.
Woke up to red dots on my leg, tried to reach out to the manager but never received a call back in regard to my experience. 100% it was bed bug bites, stayed in room 124.

Nice location, older place but updated, reasonable price, near shopping centers with some restaurants too.

Came here for a wedding with my large family and found it to be at a great price. It’s my first time staying at a Doubletree of any kind and unfortunately I expected better—a lot better.
The facilities are dated. It’s nice from the outside but the rooms themselves were lacking in function (broken lighting our room) and aesthetically overall. Some rooms feel like they haven’t been touched in a long time with a stale smell and appearance. Our rooms lacked towels despite indicating there were going to be four people per room for all the rooms in our reservation. The pool door didn’t unlock during its opening hours and had to be fixed by the staff. There was painting or construction going on outside during our stay which made the air smell like a can of spray paint. The gym was the size of half a room and severely disappointing with three machines and barely any space for more than 3 people to comfortably exercise at once.
The best part was that the staff was super friendly. They accommodated to our requests immediately and were always open to talking. The warm cookie was a nice perk.
The parking lot had plenty of room although it seemed sketchy at night. The groundskeeping could be better as some trees seemed to be on the verge of falling over and obscured several parking spots.
Since Napa is a tourist destination, I would expect people to come and go often from this hotel so the upkeep would be better. Maybe there’s reasons why it seemed empty during our stay.

Walkability: Disabled person here… The ice machine was all the way across the hotel. Too far
Noteworthy details: Worst part… pool too cold (90 to 100 degree days). Hot Tub… way too hot !!!

What an AWFUL experience. I stayed here last week for work for a single night and woke up the morning after my stay covered in approximately 20 very light red dots all over my arms, legs, and body. The redness progressed over the next day and that’s when I called the hotel to let them know they might have BED BUGS. There was no manager available to speak to until three days after my stay. When I finally spoke with the manager, he was unapologetic, rude, and very defensive. He said that there was no evidence of bed bugs in the room (not that he provided me with proof or a report) and that there was even another party that stayed there after me and they didn’t have any issues. As we know with bed bugs, not everyone will react immediately to bites, and there can be a delayed onset of visible redness. I’m glad that he said that they looked into the room to ensure the safety of future customers but I would never stay here again. Customer service is poor at best and the defensiveness and rudeness of the manager is unreasonable. Not once did he say that he was sorry that it was such a poor experience with the hotel or anything remorseful at all. He simply jumped to being defensive and saying that the bites all over my body must be from something else.
Rooms: Very small bathrooms. Not well kept. Poor lighting.

2 star at best. Stains, hair and smelly and rundown. Overpriced and inaccurate.

Employees were all sweet and hospitable. Yummy cookies. Seating by the lagoon is relaxing and chill. Rooms are nice. Not far from downtown Napa.

This hotel is a 3-star at best. We were given one key for the two guests staying, because their 'system' was down (for half of our stay if I might add). We had to argue with the front desk about the wifi password because our name couldn't be assigned to the room - we were finally given a code after 5 minutes. We stayed in the 'Mantis' room, and we've stayed at extended stays that are in better condition. There were scuff marks on the walls from furniture, corners that aren't vacuumed regularly, and don't get me started on the mismatched carpet on the stairs with staples visible and coming up. The miniature fridge worked very noisily, and there was no microwave.
The only two good qualities about this hotel were the comfortable beds and the working AC unit.
Management/owners - please visit the Broadmoor in Colorado to see what a true 5-star hotel is.
Rooms: Not well maintained
Walkability: If you have a room in the back of the property, just take the stairs, the elevator is in the front only.
Food and drinks: They charge $2 per water bottle in the room - go up the street and get a 24-pack from Walmart
Noteworthy details: Not a 5-star hotel!

Not too bad but expected more for the price. Place is old and worn. No vent fan in the restroom, backed up sink and dripping faucet in the tub.

Hotel staff was friendly and patient with us during our check in process and stay! The lady at the front desk helped us get adjusted well to the hotel and city with her positivity and other front desk receptionists were professional with us and other customers. She was very patient with us during check in. Staff would always greet us when we passed by. The free cookies during check in are a nice treat! Location is a perfect distance between wine country and Six Flags, while also being affordable compared to other hotels in the area.
The room was clean and spacious, and we are thankful the AC was working well. We were expecting a nice patio view of the lagoon, but the view was covered with tall bushes and grass.
Overall, nice experience and good environment.

Rooms are just a little dated , building needs some upgrades and maintenance, being an older facility is starting to show its age.
Restaurant on site was really good, beds were comfortable and temperature control was good.
Not bad for a short stay.
Food and drinks: Great restaurant on-site
