“Was really impressed by this Super 8 in Alturas. Stayed in what appears to be the newer wing across the road. Rooms were newly renovated, spacious with double extended granite vanities with back lit mirrors. Clean bathrooms with nice water pressure. The furniture was all new and updated. Comfortable beds and the rooms were spotless. Would highly recommend this Super 8 enroute to Burney Falls and Lassen Volcanos.

“Great place, cozy, thanks for the great coffee and service with a smile. Our room (210, Treadle) was fine, however, small toilet, ceiling fan makes a lot of racket and the shower needs some work as most of the water comes out of the faucet for the bath instead of the shower head.”

“Best hotel in Alturas!Friendly sign in, clean rooms, beautiful biscuits and gravy breakfast ? and wi fi!We love coming here often to get away from the off grid lifestyle where we live an hour away in the mountains. The hotel has a warm family friendly environment that we love and we will naturally be returning here often for our daycations.Rooms: Clean rooms, beautiful bathrooms, hair dryer in every bathroom. As well as coffee maker and iron if needed.Nearby activities: Camping, swimming in summer, bird watching, hiking trails,Safety: Feels very safeWalkability: Walking to a convenience store across the street and library and book stores several blocks away. “We went to the restaurant for breakfast. We got seated quickly. The waitress is great! Food came out fast and hot. The sausage was really good. Great prices. Clean place.
Safety: Seemed like a really safe area. The hotel is behind the restaurant.
