Very helpful and responsive. I was just passing through town and reported a stray cat hanging around my hotel. A volunteer responded to my message right away, and the cat was in their care a day later. A happy ending for the sweet cat, and one less breeding male roaming and mating! Great rescue, much appreciated.

The High Plateau Humane Society is an all volunteer 501 C3 nonprofit that operates the Second Chance Thrift Store to benefit the dogs and cats of Modoc county. We are an independent nonprofit that is not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States. We adopt out cats from the Thrift Store property.
