My family has been bringing our cats here for decades. The reason is the superb care they receive from the staff. Highly professional, extremely friendly (both to animals and humans). I highly recommend this place.

Have gone to this vet hospital for many years and think they are outstanding. They take time with their clients, both the fury ones and their owners. They are thorough in their exams, always call you back when needed, and carefully explain the actions they are taking. They have treated both cats and dogs for me. They are very honest in their evaluations of your pets' needs.

The only place I would ever take my dogs. I have been going to Vanderhoof Vet for almost 20 years, they are simply the best. Dr Dawson is the best!

I’m very thankful for Dr. Sloan who did procedure on my dog few years ago he’s the only vet who do specialty surgery and very knowledgeable and skilled. sadly Dr Sloan passed away. But overall this vet clinic is super helpful and supportive, they deserve much more appreciation for taking care our fur family., always busy and booked.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Vanderhoof for 20 years. He and his staff are skilled and really care about their patients and treat them like family. They have gotten my fur kids through someserious situations. My only critique is that sometimes it is hard to get an appointment quickly because like most vets these days they are short staffed. To me if it isn't an emergency I'd rather make an appoint and see Dr. Vanderhoof within a week than see a strange vet quickly.

In recent years this hospital seems to never have any available appointments, even in an emergency, so I have switched Vets as a result. Years ago with my first dog Vandderhoof was very good, but maybe they did not weather the Pandemic well. Although I now have to drive a bit further from my home in Altadena to the new Vet, it is worth it becasue they are very good and I have never had any problems getting an appointment.

I have been going to Dr Vanderhoof for over 30 years with various pets. He has been wonderful. Takes his time to explain things and is very caring. Roberta the office manager is just great as is the whole staff.
