“We drive out of our way to shop there. Fantastic prices, the full-service deli is the best around. The produce is fresh with many items other stores don't have. They have a wonderful selection of nuts. They always have plenty of checkers and haven't joined that annoying self checkout trend. They have many items other stores don't carry. There are a few items they are light on, but most things they are our favorite store. Really great!”

I have been going to EL MAMBI, they have salted pig tail, and butter beans and a lot of Goya's products, no-gas green bananas and other central Americans food. I wish they had salted mackerel. I am going to check to see if they have salted beef. They do have baccalo but not very good quality. I love their sweet potatoes, Ñame root . Thank the Lord that they are still operating in Glendale since this is the last Central American/ Caribbean market left in Glendale CA. ****Someone mentioned below that you should check your receipt before leaving and make certain that they do not overcharge you. I noticed they did that to me before seeing this warning and it was a lot about $15 overcharging me and now I truly believe that they did it on purpose, one of the female cashed me out and I noticed it was too high. She make me feel as if she did not clear the register from the last customer. But now I look back and realize by her response she knew what she did. *** Be careful when the females are cashing you out. It is just a shame to steal from your customers!!”

I was so impressed by the service today it was remarkable ...I saw a guy going to town on stocking produce and he knew that store like the back of his hand. If you are in luck, not only will it be something that is regularly stocked, but not on the will return later list. If you're not in luck, try it and like it, go back and buy as much as you can store! One example is the chocolate cherry smoothy. Gone for now and hopefully returning soon!”
“The shelves are neat and the display of products is not cluttered. Taiwanese snack festivals are occasionally held. When you miss Taiwanese food, you should be able to find something good to satisfy your cravings. It’s just that the price isn’t too pretty. This time I bought Taiwanese beer, but the price didn’t match the label on the shelf.”

“Tried this local meat market for the first time yesterday and the carne asada and chicken with their marinade is so tasty. I am sometimes hesitant in purchasing marinated meat from places but this place, you can tell the meat and chicken were fresh and he marinated the chicken right then and there. And this place is $4 cheaper on carne asada than our local markets. Good customer service too. This will be my new place for meat and chicken.”
“Hi , i have driven by alot , in last few years , but never stopped by , til i finally did on wedsnesday. I wanted some pork chops. They have great prices !!! Will definitely be going back. I did have a little incident ( but come to find out ) i was wrong !!! So went today to apoligize to the worker at the register. Ps. it was reg. an item i thought i was charged for , but wasn't in the bag. Anyway , ended up being the same price as the Guatamalen coffee i had bought , both were 8.00 !!! So i got confused , when i saw that , becuz it does not spell out , certain items on the receipt. But i went to apologize to her and gave her little giftcard i had ( 2 ) :) when she first saw me again , i knew she was annoyed thinking i was there to complain , but i told her , no , wanted to apoligize in person. :) Also this bakery is directly across the street , has lots of mexican pastries , cookies , conchas , few sandwiches and Cafe de Olla too”

I try a lot of different places to find the best quality meat and flavors but some how I always find my self here!! I don't mind cause it's out of this work good!! Always ask for you meat to be marinated the butcher does it for you on the spot so you know it's fresh.”

“If you're tired of fast, expensive food, then Super A foods is a great option. All the way in the back they have a cooked food area. That let me tell you is like home cook meals. Anything from fajitas, soups, stuffed bell peppers, chilaquilles, and oh man the size of their burritos or their stacked tortas. They also have certain foods that you can buy by the pound or half a pound like; potatoe wedges, cow ribs, barbecue ribs, chicken wings both spicy and barbecue, chicken strips. All kinds of different types of cheese, and if you're lucky to have the short pale skin lady that is that cracks the chicharrones, then get ready to have seconds because, she is not shy at the time of serving the portions. So to to me is well worth it eventhough it might not be a lot of difference in the amount you pay there's a huge difference in nutrition, quality(this lady cooks like she knows you, C'est magnific!!) as well of quantity(you can feed two or have some now and save some for later). Plus the place is clean, and fresh.”
“This place has everything- for real. My roommates and I, who live blocks down the street, often walk here when we need an onion, a sewing kit, a special kind of tomato, a coffee, or anything really. They always have it. They've always got a great selection of local beers and non alcoholic botanicals and teas, which I love as an only occasional drinker. The two men who run the store are so friendly, one of them we see riding his bike there every morning. Love this place! They tell me they miss me if I don't come in for a few days.”
