“The Western Union remittance service directly opposite the Hawaii Supermarket has a good service attitude, and the sister is very enthusiastic and kind. Our friend sent a large amount of money. We went to many places but could not get it done or refused to do it. But with her, it was done smoothly and the sister went out of her way to do it. I went to the bank to withdraw cash?I came to withdraw it on the third day, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to withdraw the money, so it really helped me a lot. My friends go to her branch for remittances. The work is fast and efficient, and the people are kind ^_^”

The staff were friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip pleasant and efficient. The prices were competitive, and the self-checkout process was smooth and quick. “Tried this local meat market for the first time yesterday and the carne asada and chicken with their marinade is so tasty. I am sometimes hesitant in purchasing marinated meat from places but this place, you can tell the meat and chicken were fresh and he marinated the chicken right then and there. And this place is $4 cheaper on carne asada than our local markets. Good customer service too. This will be my new place for meat and chicken.”

“Good place to get some freshly cooked Filipino food. Located on the east end of Glendale almost straddling the Eagle Rock boundary, Arko has lots of parking and it's easy to find.Been coming here for years and the quality has been largely consistent. The only difference is what many reviewers have been saying: the prices have gone way up. Used to be the best deal in town for fresh Filipino food. And they have a lot of dishes to choose from, with some of your standard fare like pansit and pork adobo, but other items you'll need to go far and wide around LA to get like sisig. Come early enough in the morning and you can fix yourself up with some scrambled eggs and longanisa. Catering is available here, too.Just to note, they do have a small fish market in the back and a few aisles for your canned goods and other basic products. But you're really here for the fresh food. And that's what will keep me coming back...the food. Yes, it's pricey now, but it's still worth it. See for yourself.”

“I wanted to leave a review for the pharmacy, but also to give a shout out to Hike who went out of his way to help me with a somewhat complicated prescription my doctor had sent in. I was extremely sick so to have him help me get clarification from my doctor for the insurance approval in order to get my medication quickly meant the absolute world. I am very grateful for his help. Generally I have had a positive experience with CVS pharmacy and find the staff to be kind and really make an effort to keep things running smoothly. The only time it doesn't is usually the fault of the insurance company or CVS operating systems which the employees cannot be held responsible for.”

“There is a night and day difference between this CVS pharmacy and the one in Burbank on San Fernando. The pharmacists here are always thoughtful and patient. I had entered the wrong location for my prescription pickup, but the pharmacist called and corrected my mistake with great attitude and friendliness even when they were obviously busy. My interaction with them has been excellent every time I had to visit this location. I will be selecting this location from now on even if it may be out of my way.”

“I wanted to leave a review for the people that lay out the stuff in the salad and bread departments. It's very neat and organized. I could always find what I need when there. I could tell these people are proud of what they do. Please take care of them and keep up the great work as a whole. There's a guy there with long hair that's helpful and friendly. I'm guessing he does the bread. If he does, please let him know he's doing a great job and thank him. Same compliments to the produce salad person. I will continue stopping by at this store on my way in to work. Thank you all!”

“This CVS is in the Trader Joe's plaza on San Gabriel Blvd and Huntington Dr. This is the second time that I had it gone inside but it's been so long that I forgot that I have been here before. Luckily since it was late at night there was a parking typically I try to avoid this plaza since it's so popular. Everything is very organized but feels a little bit more cramped since they're not working with much space since TJ's takes over most of the space on their end. I feel like in the past they were more spaced out here when they first opened but maybe I'm wrong. The feeling I had today when I walked in was wow they're not that big here.It helps that each section is labeled by the description so it's easy to find what you're looking for. All the registers are up in front. The pharmacy is way in the back. Everything is standard and nothing to complain about. They have self check out registers at the front of the store for purchases which makes it easier for those that are able to navigate the machines. Overall, not my first choice of CVS locations but if you happen to be buying groceries or getting food in the other end of the plaza it's a convenient place.”

“Going to a drugstore I always expected to pay full price until CVS came along with their $5 / mo membership. With that membership they refill your account with $10 to spend on anything. Plus every month there are a ton of coupons to get your everyday commodities (cvs brand and non cvs brands like diapers, mouthwash, snacks) that can make your total bill knocked down by 20% or more easily.”

“Driving around Pasadena 9pm, spotted RiteAid and ice cream came to mind. Made u-turn, headed there with doubts in mind that they would not serve ice cream for whatever reason late at night. I was wrong. They even sold me a authentic Thrifty ice cream scoop "gun"! Will be back when in the area.”

“I have shopped at many Ralphs / Safeways over the years, and this location provides a good experience. A few reasons why: 1. Ample parking in their (free) parking lot) 2. Friendly and helpful staff3. (Usually) well-stocked with all the basic food and supply items you need4. Mid-level pricing; its not cheap, but its less expensive then alternatives5. Generally well-maintained and clean6. It's located in a shopping center near a gas station and other businesses, so it's easy to get groceries and complete other errands all in close proximityPerhaps one of my biggest positives is that the lines don't get too long. It's always a bummer to have to wait after getting your groceries, yet the staff do a good job of getting people checked out quickly. I appreciate that.”

“I come here often, sometimes things are in stock sometimes they're not. Everything is always clean, pharmacists are excellent. I love the selection this CVS has. Health items to toiletries and food/drinks, souvenirs. It has a jacked up parking lot but hey it's free parking in LA. I want to shout it MARIAH who is always amiable and nice, and helpful. All the employees are, actually, which is great, but Mariah is always amazing. Give her a raise, give all the employees a raise. And if you ever ready this, Mariah, get a bomb job somewhere. Get your IT certificate or something. You deserve to get your bag.”
