Maybe these guys have been around forever, but it didnt take me long to find out they treat others with disrespect, not to mention any kind of customer service. Try america's tires, their service and speed will blow you away. Called in to get some new tires mounted, simple enough right? I looked this place up because I live 2 blocks away, and transporting tires back home takes time so I thought just find a spot that's close. They gave me a price that sounds fair. I shipped the tires over from tire rack, and brought in my car to get it changed. It was a few years ago so I couldnt remember which car I brought in, I have 6 exotics it was either the ferrari or the porsche. Anyways, when the car went in and the tires were already there, they told me double the price quoted over the phone. I asked why was it double of what you told me over the phone, he said I told u the price was only for mounting no balance. Yeah so after hearing that I will send brand new tires to you, you assume I want them mounted but not balanced, on a ferrari? Ok maybe you were hungry didnt eat lunch yet and low sugar is causing you to not think when you give quotes, and that's fine we all make mistakes. But when I asked him why would you give me a price for mounting without balance on brand new tires on a sports car, he got defensive and became extremely rude, saying "i charge that price always, no matter who or no matter the car. Who are you and why should I do it for less?" Well I didnt really ask for a discount, I wasnt happy I was quoted double in person for 4 tires after having them shipped here and bringing my ferrari here. He could have said I am sorry, i didnt clarify properly or he wasnt thinking, or I probably heard wrong and and leave it at that, that would be good enough. But talking about all that nonesense revealed more of who he is than who I am as a customer. Maybe he doesnt like ferrari owners who knows, but I certainly wasnt rude or anything. That goes to show what kind of person you are dealing with here, whether in how he conduct himself or any kind of customer service. I simply smiled and said ok, drove away and came back to pickup my tires later and brought it to another place. If I am getting such drama over tires, imagine if you bring your car here to get serviced. Good luck with that! I gave them an extra star for not stealing my michelin tires over $2k after it's shipped there and sat around for 2-3 days because I couldnt find any tracking updates. See, I am quite generous, lol. Avoid at all cost, unless you know them from back in the good old days, then maybe, otherwise you might be treated with prejudice for whatever his issue is

B & D Auto Repair service has been a trusted business that has serviced all of my family's cars. My family takes their cars there due to the excellent, professional, knowledgeable expertise on many different makes & models of cars. I have trusted & used them for tires & repairs for the past 20 years. I can always count on a job done right.

Richard was easy to work with and great with communication. Honest diagnosis and shop integrity is rare these days so I'm happy to see it at B&D. Very happy with my hybrid Lexus battery replacement. Saved me allot of money on frivolous charges from the dealer. Very affordable and fast service. I'll be back.

Richard is the best. He keeps all my work and personal vehicles running right. My work truck runs like a top. I just had air bags and my ac system serviced. The AC blows cold now. Ready for next summer. Now when I tow my big trailer the tongue weight feels a lot lighter with the new air bags keeping the rear level. I had a blow out with my tesla tire. He only replaced it with the OEM stock foam filled tire and also rotated my tires. I will continue sending all my vehicles here. Could not ask for a more honest place. Bravo!

B & D to the rescue! Our beloved 2016 Prius Touring IV got trashed a few weeks ago after we hit a nasty, jagged pothole at 35mph late at night on a very dark street. Initially, we knew that both passenger-side tires had blown. However, after our car was towed to B & D the next day (I had found them here on Yelp and liked that they were local and had great reviews), Diko and Richard reached out to let us know there was far more damage than we realized. Right from the start they cared about both us and our vehicle and wanted to make sure everything was handled correctly and professionally. They gladly worked with our insurance adjuster after we filed the claim, took care of the paperwork and financial items, helped me identify, then recommend and finally obtain the proper replacement tires, and then went to work identifying and then repairing the damage. Today we got our Prius back and I have to say, it hasn't looked this good since we drove it off the dealership's lot 3 years ago! AND they not only did repairs, they even DETAILED the car. The work they did was above and beyond anything that was ever done at the dealership during previous service calls. It is comforting to know that we now have a reliable, professional, and caring group of people that will look after our car from now on.

I am so thrilled with my 2016 Prius. I hit a pothole that simply ravaged my car; it blew out the front and back tires and decimated the undercarriage. Richard and Diko are FABULOUS and they are hybrid certified. There is no reason to go anywhere else for us. They know how to interact with insurance adjustors perfectly. And given that I live in Altadena, B & D is within walking distance. So the little gap I had between getting into a rental car and having to do business with them was easy. I just walked down there and back and gave myself and the dogs a bit of exercise.

For years, Diko and Richard have been helping me keep my 200,000 mile Honda Odyssey on the road. Recently, Richard replaced a bent front end strut and flushed the transmission, which should prolong the life of my minivan. These are very knowledgeable mechanics who have always been straight forward. They tell me what I need and what can wait, and they stand by their work.

I had a screw in my tire and thought I needed a plug. After evaluating, it was determined that I should get a new tire. The tire was ordered and B&D put the spare on. When I got home and read my original paperwork I realized my tire still had some warranty on it. So I cancelled the tire order and fetched my old tire that I'd left with B&D. B&D was super kind and helpful throughout the whole process and didn't charge me anything.
