Broken equipment for months on end. If you want to do cardio, don’t count on getting a machine unless you like the bike or elliptical. Thousands pf empty of those all the time. Only 2 of 4 stair masters working since January, and then today I come in and only one stair master is working after months of complaining. If you go to the Burbank location you will get pick pocketed and the Glendale layout is ugly and I had a bad experience with the manager there.

Old machines , no paper towels or spray to clean the machine , they take a lot of time to fix one machine , for all the money they are getting the should buy new machines , the front desk workers keep on their phone doing nothing , the same thing with the trainers , I saw one tall guy training people and he doesn’t pay attention to the client , he pays more attention on his phone . Considering to look for another gym

I think 24 hour fitness is a bit of a branding mistake as this facility closes at 9pm. The equipment is pretty trashed, every single machine is rusty and none of the weight pins stay locked. Some don’t even have pins so you have to swap them from others. It’s pretty bizarre how dirty and kinda run down it all is. Then again, it all works for the purpose… lift heavy things and get stronger.
It would just be nice if it didn’t feel like I would get a simultaneous staph infection and tetanus just from touching half the stuff in there.

Just signed up recently and the gym is generally clean with open equipment. The locker room could use some work and it's crazy to me that there is no place to fill a water bottle—but there are plenty of drinking fountains that nobody ever uses. A little bit of maintenance and the MOST BASIC amenity of a water bottle filler, would make this place way more enjoyable.

I have been a member of this gym for a long time. In the past few years this gym has gone down hill terribly (see photos). The gym is always dirty, the equipment is falling apart, the locker room, sauna and steam room are filthy dirty, the showers are horrible with broken shower-heads, ripped curtains with lots of mold , rusted bars in the showers , glass in the shower rooms have mold, the walls also have mold. It seems like they never clean them because it smells horrible, the floors are muddy dirty, the sitting benches in the sauna are broken, dirty, stinky and falling a part. There is rust , mold and dirtiness everywhere, the pool floors used to be light color but now they look black from accumulation of dirt. The tile floors everywhere are grossly dirty. No one cares about keeping this place clean or in decent conditions. I have spoken to the new manager about these issues and he is alway coming up with excuses blaming the members for the filth or the breakage of the equipment but does nothing to repair things. The steam room has been broken for over a month, he blames the members. There was no hot water for weeks. Literally I think it was over a month with no hot water and this is in the middle of winter. Management just shoved me off . Nothing gets done to make this gym inviting or safe for its members. It is embarrassing to blame the members for the filthiness or the breakage of equipment. Just look at the photos and you decide if this is an unsafe and unsanitary place to workout at. Most shower heads are broken, curtains are infested with mold , falling off the bar, and many things are rusted. Anyone that wants to shower should wear a mask to protect him/her self from harmful contaminants in the shower's. I’m surprised no one has called the health department

With how crowded this place usually is, you’d think they could afford to upgrade the equipment that is rickety and rusted over. It’s not clean either. But upstairs does have a nice view.

The dirtiest and most unkept gym on the planet.
1) Equipment and floors unkept. Cleaning equipment (paper and liquid) to wipe off the machine before and after use is consistently empty regardless of the time of day.
2) Font desk employees playing on the phones or hanging around chatting instead of tidying up and paying attention to members need. A specific instance, front desk employee watching a movie on his phone at 6:30am while all cleaning equipment bottles sat behind him on the desk and we had to grab the bottles ourselves.
3) A gym without hot water is a restaurant without napkins. Enough is enough! An immediate urgent attention needs to be executed to this location.
4) Restrooms are consistently dirty and unkept and smells of odors - a center of disease
5) Coach and train the employees on basic fundamentals of customer service and corporate take ownership of touring this facility to ensure its meeting the code of operations.
Lastly, while this is not inclusive of all issues, it’s a start to get to a standard optimal level of operation. I don’t need apologies - We need SOLUTIONS!

Can we bring back the “24” in the 24 hour fitness please?

Like the other reviews mention...what's going on with the gym not being open on time by the opener. The gym hours are already limited and not actually "24 hours" so members waiting outside for the gym to open is wild. Everyone waiting in the morning should be given free protein bars or something because that's not cool.

I am sad to have to cancel my membership. I come during the mornings and for 4+ mornings I show up to find people waiting outside because the staff is late. If you can't open on time please shift your hours.

The gym is clean, with tons of machines, free weights, treadmills, elliptical, etc. They will have anything you would want and more. They also have pool, hottub, steam room, and basketball court. The location is great, the parking is easy, and the staff seem nice.I would recommend doing a 3 day trial and going in to talk to someone about signing up. They do have great deals.

From police sheriff visits to their parking lot due to car thefts to pot smelling restrooms to dirty facilities to rusted pipes and faulty equipment, etc: this place is one of the worst Managers just walk around with a spray aromatizing bad smell

Legitimately going to start looking for another gym. The staff are great but outside of them, this gym continues to decline in quality. Couldn't finish my workout today because there was no way to wipe down any of the equipment upstairs because there were no paper towels and all the spray bottles were practically empty. There are only 24 treadmills and the same 4 or 5 treadmills have been out of service for nearly a month (that's 20% of the equipment). Yesterday, I tried to wipe down the elliptical machine I was using and it was absolutely filthy. It's January, aren't gyms supposed to be putting their best foot forward?
