“IF IT WERE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE, I WOULD MARRY TRADER JOES!!! SADLY, IT'S NOT!I first fell in love with Trader Joe's, circa 2006. My relationship with TJ, has lasted longer than any of marriages so far! TJ has never disappointed me (unlike my father and my past relationships) It all started when I stumbled upon it in Roseville CA. I've since moved a few times and have frequented many TJ's. While they're all lovely, Claremont is my absolute favorite! Really fun helpful staff (Lina was a delight too, sadly she's no longer working there)! Great Prices! Great selection! Great displays! Super fun signage sometimes.The fun thing about TJ's is that there's always something new there! Always full of surprises! So, I look forward to shopping. Mama Pajama, I just realized I'm there at least once a week!Great playlist! This is an important fact for me, about this TJ's! It always puts me in a great mood! (During the mandatory mask wearing days, I would be dancing up and down the aisles like I was on American Bandstand and Soul Train!) Great fun! “What can I say? It's Trader Joe's, my favorite market, and we don't have one in Victorville. They didn't have the gluten free mini cupcakes I was craving but the good thing about Trader Joe's is they will have something new for me to try. This time it was some dried candied orange slices and some Boozy Macarons. Who knew that you can make macarons totally alcoholic? I like the vegan items in the store especially the tasty Korean Japchae in the frozen section. This is so flavorful, you won't miss the meat. The French Chocolate Crepe Cookies are the best ever. They are super light textured and deceptively addictive. Always buy more than one box. If you plan on giving a box to a friend, always give them two. It is easy to eat the whole box. Your friend will thank you for being proactive. It seems I always end up buying more than I anticipated so I will purchase another Trader Joe's cloth tote bag. This time it was pickle themed bag. The bags are reasonably priced and there is a large assortment of various types. Staff is always friendly and check out is efficient and fast. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center but, depending on the time, the lot does get full. Overall, a nice shopping experience at Trader Joe's.”

“The best place for seasoned chicken and steak. Victor and his wife are friendly and helpful. Their fresh, hand made guacamole is the best! The salsa is also delicious (goes well with scrambled eggs too!). The market has all the accoutrement for a great taco bar with fresh produce, cheeses, chips, rice and tortillas as well as canned goodies like beans. We've tried other carniceria in the area but nothing compares taste wise. Side note: the meat freezes well vacuum packed like Food Saver.”

“Adorable little market with a great selection, fantastic service and great prices. They have many Latin products and the best selection of frozen yucca and Cuban products I've come across in Chino. “This Mom and Pop Meat Market has some of the best Tortas ever tasted! They have this mechanism that they used to press the Torta so the bread is a little crispy and nice & warm. Sort of like a Panini sandwich. I ordered the carne asada Torta which consist of mayo, beans, avocado ,lettuce , tomato and cheese.”

“My family and I have been eating from here since the mid 90's. They have a little food counter inside and everything on their menu is delicious. We always order their Green Chile Wet Burrito with cheese on top and extra sauce. With a cheese quesadilla on the side to dip in their delicious homemade chile verde salsa. They know us so when we call to order they know exactly what we want and how we want it. You have to ask for it with cheese on top and with extra sauce or extra wet. Thank me later. They also have some of the best and ripe avocados around. All the time.”

“The new owner and his team are very nice & friendly. He has fresh young goat meat available daily and beef as well. Has his own butchery to cut as well. The butcher is very professional, I bought fish and goat meat and they were cut and clean very professionally, I have come across only a few who are able to do such a clean work. Also carries all sorts of fish from the Indian Subcontinent like Rohu, Katla, Coral, Hilsa that his team will clean and cut into steaks without any extra charge. Just call him and order the fish and go pick up. Also he carries a line of other small fishes like Gutum, Molla Black, Darsha Putti, Chapla, Sagor Puna, Koi, Balla, Bata, Lotia, Keski, Meni fish. Alongwith that he carries shrimp as well.Also his Shami kebab whether Beef/Chicken are very delicious and no one sells shami kebab in SOCAL at the store except him. His Beef/chicken biryani is also very delicious.He carries various rice like basmati, sona masoori, kaljeera and many more.His prices are also very reasonable whether for cooked food or raw meat/fish/chicken.I love this place which i found recently and I will be a regular customer for fish, goat meat and shami kebab.They will cook chicken/beef/goat meat for you at an additional cost of $10 if you buy from them, they use fresh spices to cook them and not the packed ones.I bought goat liver last week and it came out to be very good. The goat meat was of excellent quality, fresh young goat and clean not like the old regular frozen ones that other stores sell. They will even mince the meat for you whether beef/goat.I wish him the Very Best!”

“Love Stater Brothers and always have but miss the days when a butcher was on site all the time. Came to get a 5-bone ribeye roast for the holidays. We usually get a 7-bone but we had less people this year. I was there at 5 pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They did not have a 5-bone ready so someone would have to cut a 7-bone. The kid was sweet though and offered me a combination of a 2-bone and 3-bone which would have been ok outside of a holiday meal. For aesthetic purposes, I wanted one full roast for the table. If you are coming to get a specific cut of meat that requires a butcher you can only do that during the day (like before 4 or 5 pm). The younger staff that works after 4 do not cut meat. Minimally, during holiday weeks, it would be nice to keep a butcher around at least till 6-7 pm for those that can’t get there earlier. Other options I suppose would be to call your order in early in the day and be sure they mark it “HOLD FOR XX” then pick it up later. Other than that, I love Stater Brothers and love their meat department.”
