I've always gone here for my pets needs. The staff especially (Marissa w/ llamas) is amazing. Helpful and friendly. She really took the time to find answers to my questions. What a great representative of Kahoots. They have a huge variety of pet foods and go above and beyond to get you what you need. Bottom line is they love fur babies and it shows.

Manager by the name of Kalina would not sell me a beta because I didn't want to buy a light. When I told her my last fish lived over a year in the root system of my live aquarium, she said she couldn't sell me the fish because she didn't feel it was comfortable the way I was going to "treat" it. My family and I have shopped in this particular store for over six years and have NEVER had any complaints. I even purchased my last beta here and told the sales associate what I was doing with NO issue. Very disappointed that this manager would pass her beliefs and judgement onto a customer. Hoping that a message to the district manager will get returned. ***Thank you to Matt, the regional manager for the conversation and chance to discuss my interaction with Kalina. Thankful for the opportunity and the fact that my experience was used as a training opportunity. My family has always enjoyed and appreciated the Kahoots Alpine location and the associates, we hope to continue to.

been frequenting this store for as long as they're here. I had a transaction today and had $1.00 in change coming and asked for it in quarters and was refused. Stating " I can't make change, they're weird about that.". ok, I get it if i'm walking in off the street asking for change, but I just made a large purchase & kindly asked for my $1 in change please be 4 quarters. Really? I feel like that was poor "customer" service. am I wrong?

Taken my 14 year old dog for a nail trim every month for 6 months, no problem until today. After waiting in line for an hour the tech refused to trim the nails because he was fearful of cutting the quick. I informed him to do the best he could but he insisted that I take my dog somewhere else and to go to the register for a refund.Totally lacking in customer service skills a somewhat of a prima donna and a snowflake. Will not be shopping here again.The person at the register was quite understanding and offered to intercede with the tech, but at that point all I wanted to do was leave.Prime example of how bad behaviour and poor customer service by one individual can ruin an otherwise good business.

This store is clean and welcoming and very well stocked. Prices are good and the folks that work there are very attentive and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and they always have sales. Me and the kitties thank you Kahoots Alpine!

The greatest store, with a wide variety. They have the most helpful, knowledgeable staff. I shop in both locations. The one in Alpine most often, and the Kahoots store in Ramona!

They are very knowledgeable on their products in comparison to other brands. Gave me a sample package to try. Also had suggestions for a picky cat on food to try and he liked it! Great emplyees!!!
