Cute little GW shop but I left after I saw an ugly shirt with the ORIGINAL tags for $29They slapped a $25 GW tag on it! This is just my opinion but it's not the way I think a thrift store should be ran. On a more positive note, employees are very nice and the store is immaculate

Very friendly staff, small store but some great finds. You will notice the California pricing if you've been to Goodwill in other states.

I was shopping in the goodwill here in Alpine, until they refused to let my husband use the toilet. So I left everything in the store and walked out. So much for there Goodwill.

The staff at this goodwill is incredibly friendly and helpful- they deserve 5 stars! The reason for three stars is because of the prices within the last couple months. I would say almost all of my pants and many of my work shirts have been purchased from this goodwill throughout the years for around $6.99-12.99, with the occasional tag-still-on $15 purchase. In the last few months, the prices have skyrocketed, specifically on clothing items that I typically buy. A pair of outdoor pants, without tags, was $25 the last time I went in. Before, I used to leave with at least something almost every time that I would stop (sometimes more than once a week). I still stop by occasionally, but would say that I only buy something a quarter of the time because of the increased prices. Aside from clothes, there are frequently items prices higher than they would be to buy new, or just short of. Mostly, this is kitchenware and things of that nature, but a while back I saw a trailcam for $90 that retails for $75. I get it, things are getting more expensive and workers are getting paid more (thank goodness), but these items are donated and in my opinion, massive price spikes will only hurt the business since most of these items will now just end up at the bins. Still, I love stopping buy and occasionally do find some hidden treasure for a good price, but it seems to be happening less and less.

I stop by to browse inside the store whenever I'm in the area. From time to time you can find something special. It's not as large a store as others in San Diego County, but it has its gems.

The Goodwill store in Alpine is very small but fits the size of the town. There were some nice items in the store but overpriced. It was our first visit to this Goodwill. We'll stick to the Goodwill in Santee.

I just had the best experience at the Goodwill store here in Alpine! A lovely woman named Kathy assisted me in purchasing a desk chair. She even picked it up for me and put it in my car. This level of customer service is very difficult to find nowadays, but Kathy exceeded my expectations. Thank you again Kathy and I will be shopping at this Goodwill store again!
