Rude staff, and the aisles are far too crammed (sometimes too tight for even one cart to go through).

Good overall (prices, selection, inventory, location) but getting rough: solicitors outside, deli can be hit-or-miss (meat slicer sometimes isnt cleaned enough so your meat can have fragments of the previous meat), baggers are often not available (recent bagger was constantly wiping his nose with his hand while handling my groceries), some odd people, etc.
Will continue to patronize but will consider going elsewhere.

This Ralph's charges more than all other area grocery stores including other Ralph's locations for the same items but advertises those prices as on sale to try and trick people into shopping there. They think their customer base is stupid and try to take advantage of that.

This Starbucks has some tough ones over here! They put up with a lot and are skilled at handling the high volumes in such a small space! Love this location in Ralph's. Dylan is an exceptional worker - always kind, patient, and genuinely attentive to everyone's particularly extravagant coffee orders. Both his charisma and conscientiousness deserve to be acknowledged, along with his diligent team of baristas. Tis' a hard thing to serve the not-yet-caffeinated...

Everytime I come too this Ralphs I have a new terrible story. The employees are miserable and the older checkout guy was cussing and yelling at someone named Alma. He opened my muffin bag with his dirty *ss fingers and proceeded too shove our groceries in the bag smooshing them. Hate this place.

Rude employees!
So, I gotta vent about my recent run-ins with Jessica at the store. Both times, she was kinda useless and pretty rude. First off, I asked her to page someone to the bakery, and she just brushed me off, saying she only fills shelves and doesn’t know how to page someone. Second, when I tried to return something, she kept repeating that they don't accept returns for that item. I asked for manager’s help, and she said manager will give you same answer. Luckily another cashier heard my conversation and returned the item and refunded me in a sec!!!!
Meanwhile, I noticed she was all smiles with other customers.

This is an average Ralphs in a strip mall in Aliso Viejo. The aisles are wide and full of well stocked merchandise. It's no Gelson's but it's fine for staples like grapes, yogurt and blueberries. Parking is easy and so is self check out.

It's ok. Not great though. It's really expensive compared to other stores and the self checkout is very lackluster. I went to checkout for maybe 5 items at self checkout and there was a lady waiting for service so I called out to one of the workers (an elderly man) and he yelled "one sec". There were no bags so people were just grabbing them out of the restocking pile that the workers were supposed to be doing. I wouldn't go back as it's way too overpriced. As far as the Starbucks inside, the lady was kind of rude when I went because I asked her if their pop up takes gift cards.

I have been purchasing groceries here for my Kiddieland preschool (now AV preschool) for at least 28 years. We appreciate the staff, especially Kim! I love seeing her friendly face each time I am there. Funny how so many of our preschool families also say the same thing about her.

Ordered delivery from Ralph's 12/18/23. The 3rd party (Insta-cart) delivered my order to the wrong address. When I called, they said they were already in a different city and would give me a refund. I thought Ralph's had their own delivery service, if I would have known, I would have picked it up myself.

RALPHS IS 5 STAR! STARBUCKS INSIDE IS A 2 STAR! I want to start by saying I love this Ralph's grocery store. I have been going there for groceries since I was a baby with my mother and now I go as an adult with my own child. Many of the long time cashiers and associates know me on a first name basis since I was a child. So Ralph's in Aliso viejo town center will always be 5 star to me and my family and will always be our daily grocery store for years to come. The Starbucks is also a location I use 3 times a week minimum. Sometimes lines are long but I feel that's typical of every Starbucks so I'm not complaining. The Asian American lady that works there has always been pleasant to me, starts conversation and I appreciate that about her. However the older Indian woman with glasses that typically makes the coffees is rude and has no regard for customer service. It took her 15 minutes to make my simple coffee, there was no one in front of me either. She was talking to her co-worker about their personal lives (that doesn't bother me) but she was not capable of multi-tasking. Not only was she not able to talk and make my drink at the same time, she then decided to make her personal conversation the priority over getting my drink done.... She would completely stop what she was doing to speak to the cashier about things not work related out loud while I'm standing there waiting for my drink. She would forget to put certain things in the drink(because she was talking) and then notice and ask me, "oh do you want the toppings?" And I said "it's fine I need to go, I have a dr. Appointment." And she said "yeah well I have a line." Again let me remind you that there was no one in front of me and I know they make the orders in the order they are received. I wanted to say, "maybe talk to your co-worker about your outside lives after you meet your customers needs." It just showed lack of efficiency, lack of customer service and lack of work ethic honestly. Really disappointing.... I never make yelp reviews either but I had to, and it kills me to post this because that Ralph's store is near and dear to my heart and it's a shame out of the 29 years me and my family have been using this location that I had this experience at their Starbucks.

The Ralph's is good but the Starbucks inside has been a bad experience the last few times I went there. Now I just take the extra time to drive to the nearest Starbucks instead of getting anything there. I think it was a middle aged asian american woman there at the time . It was hard just to get service and I was nothing but nice and she gave me a lot of attitude just ordering an iced coffee with cream because my presence was a distraction from her conversation with some other employee or women. The last 3 times I've been there the drink was bad. And I have actually worked at real Starbucks and ones inside the store for years in another life. It's not that hard to say "Hi what can I get for you" instead of a snarl with "What?" and a scowl then not a single word or glance to me as she walked away and started doing stuff and talking to the other person at the end. I asked for an iced coffee and did not get a word from her since saying some kind of confirmation. She eventually came back and touched a button and I swiped my card and 5 minutes later a watery 3/4 full iced coffee with cream showed up at the end of the counter. Tasted not so great. Anyways this is the first time i've reviewed a place. Don't want to complain too much. The rest of the place is cool. Shop here all the time, just don't get the Starbucks.
