After playing for several hours at day camp I asked that my standard poodle be bathed and brushed in the petsmart grooming salon. I was given a price of $45 and I agreed. When I picked up her up i was sorely disappointed. Her body hair and ear hair was still wet, matted and stringy. Her tail had not been brushed at all and her body was also matted and definitely not brushed out as requested. I said nothing about how she looked but was disheartened to say the least. For the price, I would not use this salon ever again. I can't imagine the people who work on the dogs are even trained properly.

I took my dog to the groomers at this location. I have taken my dog (Mr. Sweetface AKA Fandogh) here a few times and there is this girl that works there named EMMA. She is the rudest person i have ever met. She always tells everyone that my dog is crazy and aggressive the second we walk in even when she is doing something else. Today, she told me that me and my parents are liars and that they dont trust us when we say we did not give my dog medications and she called our vet to make sure which to her surprise we were not lying. I confronted her about her nasty attitude and rudeness and she pulled my dogs neck so hard with the leash that she screamed out in terror and she gave him back to me and told me to take the leash off. Is this the kind of place you people are running? These are just innocent pets and people trust you guys with their pets but this is how you treat them? It absolutely broke my heart when I hear my cute Pomeranian baby scream out in pain with the way she pulled her neck with the leash, I wanted to break into tears. What kind of a person does that to an innocent animal?? I had heard that the Petsmart grooming salon does not treat animals well but I wanted to give them a chance. I have never seen anyone treat a helpless and cute animal with such cruelty. Please do not take your pets to this place because if they can treat them like that in front of the owners, it really makes you wonder how they treat them in the back when we are not there. My dog always got so anxious whenever we went there and I realize why now. Even one of the groomers told me that his tongue was turning purple-ish because of the stress and anxiety he feels when he goes here. Never again. I am truly horrified and disgusted with the way Emma treated me and my pet.And please don’t even get me started on the manager. I called the salon to speak to Cody their manager and he was just as rude as the girl in the store. He seemed to not care about the situation or to take it seriously. I wanted to speak to his boss but he told me that he will let her know and that that’s all he can do. I’m absolutely disgusted by these people and the environment. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from this location or any location for that matter.

Went to this store 1 day after loosing our little one. It was so difficult even walking the store, to make some returns for unopened food (needed money after expensive hospital bill) , the employee who helped us (didnt get her name) was a very rude woman with blonde hair , she just seemed annoyed even when we told her why we were making the return. No compassion. She sighed and kept saying it was a long and complicated process. We didnt need that at the moment. We couldnt take it anymore (were in tears) and grabbed the items and left. Returned at another location who happily took the returns. It was around 3:55pm on Sunday.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My dog has been going to Petshotels since he was a puppy. He is a crate trained labrador and we have always had a great experience at other locations. We have been to Long Beach Towne Center, Vegas, Palm Springs, 2-3 times a year all without issue. Today I was called to let me know 3 days before I was to check in my dog that he is too old and they wouldn't take him. I made this reservation over a month ago but they just noticed his age now. Chris handed me over to his boss who should never be in any customer service postition ever. She proceeded to tell me that my dog is past his life span and they have had dogs have serious medical issues while in their care at that location and she didn't want my senior dog there. I told her that he was just at the vet yesterday and had a clean bill of health. She proceeded to tell me their facility is 200 crates just lined up on top of each other (she called it a Motel 6) with loud dogs barking and my dog would be lucky if they even noticed him once an hour. I told her my dog was fine and in good health and he was just here a month ago. I didn't see the issue and he did just fine then. This woman banged on her desk saying she was just being a responsible pet lover and business owner telling me that my dog is at great risk to have a cardiac event from other dogs barking and they couldn't be responsible. She used the analogy of 10 year olds can go on roller coasters but 90 year olds can't. This is a women with no DVM degree who has never seen my dog. She told me that if I wanted to bring him I would have to give her 2 phone numbers of people who would be on call 24 hours a day to come pick up my dog if they decided he was in stress. Mind you there is no vet on site, this would just be a employee making the decision. She told me that my dog would then go to a vet to be boarded at $1000 a night and it would be my problem. I was in tears at the end of the call and my son was so scared that he was going to cancel our weekend family vacation because he is afraid my dog is going to die after her tirade. Needless to say I have made other accommodations. But if even half of what she is saying about her own facility is true, NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE! EVER!

I ordered food for my foster cat online and opted to have it delivered. If I had known that they use Door Dash as their delivery service, I would have picked it up myself, as I have only had lousy service from that company. I got notification that Elwood had delivered my order, and when I saw the photo, you can imagine my surprise when it showed a bag from Mendocino Farms, rather than cat food. I called Door Dash immediately, and they said that they would send someone to retrieve the sandwich. They never did, so I ended up throwing it out. I still have no cat food. I call again, this time I'm put on hold for 25 minutes. I hung up and called again, and I was told that they reported the error to PetSmart and that I would get a refund in 5-7 working days. My cat is now very annoyed about having no food. This morning I went to the PetSmart from which I had placed my order, and the very nice manager, Dani, explained that they have nothing to do with the delivery, and if the error was Door Dash's, they would have to provide the refund. She was kind enough to buy the cat food for me, for which Sandy and I are most grateful. I still don't know where Elwood took my cat food, and I hope that Marie M didn't eat it for her lunch. Bottom line-PetSmart=YES!, Door Dash=NO!!!!!

Beeen coming here and also PetCo for years and grooming has been meh, hit & miss; UNTIL Alora V. at PetSmart groomed my dog. NEVER have a had such a thorough and complete grooming. Every paw, nail, dewclaw, pad was taken care. I highly recommend Alora V. @PetSmart, she's a true professional, who does her job well. If she quits I'm going to wherever she goes. Morgan still dislikes his bath, but I know with her, it's done right and she is good to my boy.

Took excellent care of my dog Zappy. Provided updates upon request. This is one of the best places in OC to take your pampered pooch for a five star hotel stay.

I had my puppy groomed by Wendy today. She spent a ton of time with me talking about the various matted hair she found and the concerns. We discussed how to take care of it. She started working with him and called me 45 min later to check in and let me know the progress. She then did an amazing job on him. He is a puppy amd not good with grooming. He has long fur that I didn’t want shaved. And while she said he would look like Swiss cheese, that is not what happened. She worked some serious magic to make him look full of hair yet completely devoid of mattes.I am so impressed with her skill and professionalism in what she does. Not sure how much it is due to PetSmart training or just her talent. But I will come back!!! She is amazing!!!

We’ve purchased dry dog food here on two separate occasions with literal bug larva growing on the outside AND inside of the bag as well as actual bugs flying out of the bag as soon as I have opened it. Not sure how they’re storing or keeping the food here but it cannot be sanitary or safe for your pup. Once in 2021 and once now in 2023. We’ve purchased the same dog food at multiple other PetSmart locations and have never had this issue anywhere else.

It's alright, I mean I wouldn't take my kids there, maybe my dog, at lease the sell dog food. The place is a lot older than you think it is. I saw some ghosts of dead doggos begging for treats.

My dog looks cuter than ever! Overall it was such an easy experience from making the appointment to seeing the awesome results. Julia was the groomer. Very kind and attentive to how I wanted him to look. With all of this the price was so fair! I’m a happy pet owner.

My husband and I just recently got a new puppy, and started bringing her to the doggie daycare that petsmart offers and she loves it! The gentlemen Kevin who works there is always super nice and informative of how the day went with the dog. When I see that he was working there during her visit, I know she is in good hands. Five star review for Kevin!

Not bad at all. Good cat food selection compared to other stores.
