I want to express my gratitude to Citi Bank in Aliso Viejo. All the bank employees were polite and welcoming. I worked with Luis Uscanga as my banker. He helped me open a business account and get a line of credit. He knew his stuff, explained things well, and made the whole process easy. Thanks to him, I'm all set to grow my business. Luis is awesome, and I highly recommend this Citi bank. Thanks

Really Citibank is extremely callous and I am closing my account with them tomorrow. Citibank security for example is filled with non-English speaking hacks, that are terrible. The cash machines outside of the La Paz branch have problems. When you make a cash deposit sometimes there is a fan that blows the money back out of the cash deposit area. Despite complaints inside the branch they have refused to do anything about this. They are not really helpful or have a helpful attitude whether you talk to Citibank on the phone, or in the the branch. They make it very difficult and always take the position of being right about everything.

Horrendous customer service. Do not come here if you are expecting to get served or get any help.

I had a fantastic experience at Citi Bank, thanks to the exceptional services and professionalism exhibited by Farnam, my personal banker. Farnam was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through various financial matters with expertise and patience. His dedication and professionalism made me feel valued as a customer, and I would highly recommend Citi Bank and Farnam's services to others.

Horrible experience with the branch manager. She tried to take my elderly family member from my arm and into her office by herself. I refused and will not go back. It felt racially motivated . I am thinking of changing banks.

Elderly mother went in there to ask for some checks rather than giving her checks for the account she had. They opened a brand new account for her with zero funds in it, and issued checks for that account because of this, my mom bounced three rent checks, and was nearly evicted . Do not let your elderly family go in there without any sort of supervision. This was a foul practice and nearly cost my elderly mother, her livelihood and home and if you try to reach management allegedly this branch doesn’t have any or they are never there. There is no transparency and this location is a huge let down, so if you find there to be any discrepancies in your banking, cross reference your bank account numbers chances are in order to make their quota. They opened up an extra account for you and didn’t tell you.

Citi is the worst bank I ever used and this branch is the garbage king. I just closed my business account in Citi and move it to Wells Fargo. Please read my story before you walk in this Citi branch. First of all, it's my bad to open an account in Citi because of their promotional bonus. Then I started my nightmare. After opening the account and transferring funds into it, my first use is to make wire transfer to my vendor which is only about $7K. I found I can't make wire transfer online due to 'access blocked......error code OP002'. I called Citi customer service which is from that error message. It took me 1.5 hours to talk to 5 different departments in Citi over the phone but nobody could resolve the issue. Someone told me I should use different browsers; some told me my browser settings is related to this issue; some said my vendor's account is high risk and blocked...... Okay I followed up what they told me and retried but still had same error. At the end, they told me to call the next day because business department is opened on that day. The next day I called again and talked to business department and others in Citi over the phone. Still nobody had the clue and is able to fix the issue. I found their customer service just transferred me to another department if they don't know what to do. I am the ball kicking back and forth among their departments. Finally, their security department told me they can't verify my identity and asked me to go to branch! Okay. I went to the branch and one banker told me this issue was caused by tokens. Because mine is the new account, I need to apply for token before using wire transfers. No problem! How nobody in those different departments in Citi knows this? You think this is the end? No....... That banker helped me to apply for soft token but he didn't how to do it. He needs to call other bankers and said would send me the email in 24 hours...... I got the email in the evening. When I tried to make wire transfer after obtaining token, I still can't do it. I called customer support but they told me my account settings is messed up by the banker in branch. Okay! I visited branch and they told me that their bank is too busy and asked me to go help from online. I told branch the online services asked me to visit branch to solve the issue. The branch guy said those customer services don't know how the branch works. Then I went back home and called customer services again. Customer service told me they can't do anything but need to go branch again. If the branch doesn't know what to do, I call customer service and they teach them to do....... Is this a bank? Nobody knows what to do and the bankers in this branch are arrogant and mean. This is really a nightmare to me. I hope my experiences could help you to avoid Citi and those bankers.

Atrocious customer service. Teller can't help you because you need to speak to a banker. Banker can't help you because he's gonna be busy all day. Meanwhile I can't access my money. Garbage bank branch.

I went into this branch yesterday to cash two residual checks that I had. I am recuperating from open heart surgery so it was an effort to get there. The two checks totaled $12.50. The bank refused to cash them claiming that they don't cash checks for anyone. I couldn't believe it. What bank doesn't cash checks? By the way, I secured my mortgage through Citi about 25 years ago. I am giving this review "one star" only because I can't give it negative stars. I will NEVER do business with Citi again.

Drove all the way over to this location to find a sign on the door that said, “temporarily closed” even though the website made no mention of this closure. UPDATE please!

Shady bank. Went in there to make a deposit for my mom and they were asking for MY social security number. When I refused, she just said "okay" and continued with the transaction. Why do they need to collect so much information from people? When I asked for the reasoning, the girl stumbled out "it's just policy". Creepy. This is why I left this bank.
