“I like the low price the have, cheaper than COSTCO for a lot of them. On the downside, not a lot of selections. Item you buy may not be there next time. Time at the register has improved since they added the self checkout. Still don't like to have to look for a quarter to get a cart in this day and age where I almost never use cash.”
“The shelves are neat and the display of products is not cluttered. Taiwanese snack festivals are occasionally held. When you miss Taiwanese food, you should be able to find something good to satisfy your cravings. It’s just that the price isn’t too pretty. This time I bought Taiwanese beer, but the price didn’t match the label on the shelf.”
“We happened by this place while going to Wendy’s in the same parking lot. They have a very good selection of Asian, mainly Chinese, grocery items. They have tanks with live seafood and even offer to fry the selected fish for free. They have a good selection of tofu and vegetarian products. The story is a little bit small considering all of the items that they carry. Prices are comparable to other Asian markets.”
“Very kind and honestly found so many great things. Markets like these are so authentic to the neighborhoods as well I just appreciate it a lot as a latina who enjoys Asian food and snacks. Hard to budget here when you end up finding so many cool things !”
“This supermarket is actually quite large and spacious. There are lots of live seafood and meat section inside. You need to pull a paper number tab and wait for your number to be called for service. The staff in the meat and seafood section is friendly. Check out is a bit slow even though there are many cashiers. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time. The product options here are much more compared to 99 ranch. You can find products from Indonesia, Philippine, Vietnam, Korea, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan etc. This supermarket has a weekly sale or deals, which the price can be lower than other markets. The security guy upfront is not very friendly.”
“They are for the most part a clean, organized, good customer service employees. I go there when we're playing the lottery scratchers, and cigarettes. There are times when I'll grab a fountain drink. They also sell Krunxky Chicken there. They have Chicken Legs, Thighs, and Chicken Tenders. They have specials like 3.Tenders, a small side, and a regular drink .for like $7 bucks. And let's not leave out the Hot Cocoa, and Cappuccino. A little bit of small of a smaller version of a 711 but I do however co-sign for this place of business for this is Chuy aka Jesse Vara Viramontes signing off for now from Alhambra Town, just adjacent to where I grew up in The Hood, aka San Gabriel Mission District. VSG13 with Respect.”
