I Highly recommending this place. They're quick turn around, professional team, and reasonable pricing. I messed my car up pretty bad from a long trip, thinking I'll need to call off from work, but this autoshop understand my urgency, and were able to order parts and fixed my car within the day.

Excellent customer service. Brought in vehicle for radiator hoses replacement. I was charged exactly what i was quoted.have been coming to Neil's for òver 15 yrs. and they have always given me great costumer service . Neil's will never try to up sale you anything you don't need.

I recently visited Neil's Express Automotive for my 2019 Hyundai Kona. This shop was recommended by CarMax Repair Pal and it was conveniently located in Alhambra less than 12 minutes from me in ELA. I like that I didn't have to go to a CarMax which are often over 10 miles away from me and their schedule is very limited. I went to the shop to check the Infotainment center, tire pressure, and check the engine light because it kept turning on and off.
I worked with Steven and his team. I took my car in on Friday afternoon and I was told that they needed to keep it "overnight" so they can work on it on the following day which is fine, it was a busy Friday for them. I called Saturday AM, they told me they can't run the Diagnostic and they are going to need to keep it until Monday. I was a little bothered by this because they did not communicate this up front on Friday, but thankfully my partner has a car so it wasn't a big deal.
When I picked up my car on Monday afternoon, I was given a bill of $215. Now this may be a "me problem" but from my understanding, my CarMax + warranty should have been honored at this shop but I was still given a bill. They also informed me that through the Diagnostic (which cost over $100) that I might need new Spark Plugs bc mine were corroded which cost over $479 out the door including labor. I realize, prices are going up but that seems pretty steep to me.
Overall, I knocked a star off this shop because of their poor communication and not informing me of the services that they were going to do to the car and the cost of each service. Strong communication is important to be as a customer. I realize $215 isn't a lot but I am a part time teacher and I wasn't expecting a bill. However, Steven and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and once again conveniently located in Alhambra.

Place is straight scam. Steven will over charge you for the smallest things. He will lie to you and will make you wait on a simple job.

Angel and Steven are so sweet and really know their stuff! They're always flexible and welcoming to my last-minute needs and prices are reasonable (they also have great financing available as well.) As a long time Lyft driver, these are very important factors, as I don't have days and days to leave my car somewhere. I've never had my car there more than a day. & When Angel busted out the stethoscope one time and had me listen to the funky sound my engine was making, and then showed me visual diagrams of what was happening to my car, what parts I needed, the estimate and by when...a genuinely honest assessment, I knew I was in remarkable hands.
