I had been taking my cars to David for a few years. Thought everything was fine as he did good work at a fair price. My a/c was not working properly one day so I took my car to a shop that replaced the freon about 10 years prior. Sometime during those 10 years, David replaced the compressor. What I was told by the other shop was that whoever last worked on my a/c (which was David), replaced the R-134a freon with R-1234yf. David did this not only without my permission or consent but AGAINST my wishes. We had a conversation about it and I told him I absolutely did NOT want the R-1234yf freon as it does not work as efficiently and can cause problems later. David's sneaky, dishonest work would cost me roughly $1500 to restore my car back to its original condition. The mechanic who I once thought was a good, honest guy has turned out to be a dishonest snake in the grass. Let the buyer beware.

My check engine light came on after a long drive from Virginia. Mr. Lu checked out the whole car for me. The rear brakes were marginal but he discovered two tares in hoses related to the intake system. I had him go ahead and replace them. I picked up my car at the end of the day. I didn't even have to ask him to show me the old parts he replaced. He showed me them instantly to better explain the problem. Mr. Luu is a genuine car lover and pure mechanic. Thanks .

I've been visiting David for quite a while for services ranging from oil change to having to deal with timing belts and pistons. David has been in the trade for quite a while, and he is extremely knowledgeable of what cars need. I am fortunate that whenever I have car maintenance, I can always count on him to tend to them and often pretty quickly.In a rush? Call in for an oil change, and he can have it done in 15 minutes... And he makes great conversation. I can't wait to come back!

Sorry to say I went to Lu’s for a couple of years until I found out he was a crook. Brought my RAV in with engine & sway light on. Lu said it was shocks & suspension. $2,000- paid & lights went on again after 30 miles. Brought it back twice & Lu had no clue on how to fix original problem. AVOID THIS SHOP!

So happy to be recommend by this place! My partner recommended me this place to fix my 2000 Toyota Camry. I needed my back struts replaced and my front left brake checked out! I was giving an estimate and I appreciate the fact that they did not try to charge me for anything else like other mechanics would!!
