After seeing that the Garfield Liberty Tax on Alhambra was closed, I went to check this location. Same thing… it was closed. However, fortunately this branch offered an updated display of their business hours.

Called before heading in to find out the fee and got a tone that wasn't super welcoming. I went anyway since I needed to get this done. There are like 5 parking spots in the back directly behind the building, but you need to walk all the way around to access the place. Upon entering, the place is spacious but totally run down. The carpet was old and icky. Paper signs hang along the walls. There was only one man there, and I'm assuming he was the one who had answered my call. It was $50 for the live scan and fingerprinting. $3 added if you pay with a card. If you're looking for someone personable, this place is not it. You will get what you paid for and that's it.

Called in to inquire about the fees just to make sure I took the exact amount of money needed to complete a live scan for AUSD and the person I spoke to was just rude and unprofessional. When you heighten your voice just say ma'am and repeat the same answer, I'm sorry but you lack customer service! Asking for clarification shouldn't come back with an attitude. Rather pay the extra amount at the other Liberty Tax Service on Garfield Ave than to deal with someone unprofessional when asked a question. Thanks but no thanks.

What's up: Needed to find a place that offered Live Scan to complete an application. Our acquaintances told us this location performed the service, so we came here. Parking: Small parking lot nearby that's shared with surrounding businesses. Entrance to the lot is right next to Tacos Ensenada. Environment: Masks are required. We were a walk in and had a bit of a wait since there were 3 people ahead of us and only one person that performed the Live Scan service. There was a sign in sheet, but we were not asked to sign in. Once called up, we presented the staff member (Joshua) with our application and ID. He instructed us through the fingerprint scanning process. My hands were a bit dry so he provided some lotion for me in order to get a better scan. What was ordered: - Live Scan rolling fee is $18 plus applicable government fees; our service was $33 per person (ensure your application is completed ahead of time) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The wait was not too bad and the process was simple and fast once we got called up. Payment for the service was in cash.

Live scan as of 1/2022 is $18 for the rolling fee in addition to the $49 fee (FBI / DOJ fingerprint fee). Other government websites suggest their price fo be lower but some things just change because of government delays in updating/ inflation/ etc. Some positives - -Walk-in ok -convenient location (parking in the rear, Chase across Atlantic if you need cash) Some negative - -cash only; credit card is an additional fee - price wasn't updated on government websites (not sure whose fault this is) Tip- -transparency in pricing: While there is a sign at the desk of the updated pricing, I wished the info was updated on government websites Bc while I remember it as one of the "cheaper" Livescans offered (I have gone here previously for 3x for other licenses), but it may not be true anymore so do your research if you're gathering up cash for this.

I needed to do live scan fingerprints for a job and it was quick and easy. I didn't have to make an appointment it was pretty quick I just waited for the guy to finish up the customer that was there and my proces was less than 15 min. Very convenient because it's close by to were I live. Parking is in the back side of the store so u just have to walk around to the front entrance.

I came here today to get my fingerprints scanned to complete my moral character application.The process was very fast and easy, and only took around 10 minutes. Also, the price ($15) was much cheaper than other places I searched up. I will come back to this place next time if I need my fingerprints scanned again. Also, don't forget you need to bring 3 copies of your live scan form!

I did a walk-in live scan here. Many police departments and businesses are closed for live scan. The rolling fee is low here, and the other costs depend on what you need for live scan. There was only one man here but he was quick and efficient. He explains everything to the point. He was also professional on the phone. There is a person capacity due to Covid and he will disinfect the seats and work area thoroughly in between each person. I did not realize they closed at 5pm because google said 6. This is a temporary change due to covid.

I honestly hate giving bad reviews. But this one is kind of needed! I had my taxes done here for 2016 and things seemed to go fine. The tax preparer seemed to be knowledgeable but didnt ask many questions regarding deductions on a 1099. So we had to mention everything ourselves! For the 2017 year we came back because we still had a 1099 and W2's. Worst mistake! We had to start from scratch as though we had never been a customer because their system was down. Which they failed to mention at the time of scheduling the appointment! We were told it would be 2 days to get our information into the computer because of them being back logged. The tax specialist did not seem to be very accurate or knowledgeable. We didnt hear from them for over a week! We called and they gave us an odd number turns out they lost our 1099 and WE had to figure it out ourselves! There goes another damn week!! It took three weeks to file Wow! And when we finally went in to sign they had attitudes because we had to go in late (srill before closing) due to my husbands job! Still almost 400 for a horrible experience! Needless to say we will not be returning and neither will anyone we know!

Went to do my taxes. Guy tells me it will be 15 min to enter my information in the system. 30 min later he's less than half ways done, if that. Took my paperwork and went somewhere else. If you enjoy endlessly waiting this is the place for you.
