I had an excellent experience buying a new washer/dryer at Howard's in Alhambra. Sarkis the manager patiently explained the features of each option and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure at all. Delivery was easy, and they took away my old machines for a small fee. Everything is working well. I will definitely start at Howard's next time I need to buy a new appliance.

Went here off of a recommendation from someone I know, who told me that there were a lot of open-box deals for fridges. There were indeed a number of selections at pretty competitive rates, but I didn't know if I'd end up purchasing anything that day. However, the service I received from Sarkis helped me make up my mind--he was attentive and informative from the moment he helped me to when he cashed me out with a new fridge in tow. He made what could have been a stressful process so much easier. Would definitely recommend going, not just for their wide selection but also for the friendly service!

I give this place one star because of the gentleman that offered to help in just a second. So.. when I walked in I saw this place was a packed house. I'm joking! Empty as can be. A salesman named Edward asked if he could help me and I asked if they had what I needed and he said no and walked himself all the way to the back of the store and into a back room. As he walked I said I'm not done asking for help, is that all you're going to help me with? Geez!?!? Well so much for good customer service. It's no wonder the store is empty. I'll take my business to Best Buy then. A further drive, but at least I know I will receive proper help. Selection.. horrible. Value.. Edward never gave me a chance to find that out. Lastly, I would never hire someone like that for my store. A VERY POOR representation of what customer service should be. Just saying, I'm only a customer.

We have been shopping here for years for our appliances. We were pleased by the quality of the products and the knowledgeable staff so we came back. In particular, Zesky was a fantastic sales person on our recent visits and explained the pros and cons of each product we looked at. Thanks, Zesky. Last month we purchased a great new refrigerator. I had no idea they came so nice. It had been a long time since we bought one. I love the new refrigerator with the bottom freezer drawer and drink drawer. It is bright and roomy. This month for Christmas, we purchased a new stove. As in the refrigerator, Zesky helped us. We are looking forward to its arrival and expect a seemless delivery process as has been our experience in the past. Thanks so much, Zesky. I am glad Howards is there for our needs. The customer experience is better than anything I have seen at Home Depot or corporate machines that don't really care about customer loyalty.

I ended up paying a $525 restocking fee plus a $150 for 4-man crew for a refrigerator. that I never got installed. Initially while making the purchase, I was told that if the fridge did not fit, I would get all my money back from sales associate Omar. I let Omar know that the space was tight, but he said that their delivery people would take the doors of the refrigerator if necessary (I found out that Costco does not take doors off - that's the way their contracts with the delivery people are written). When they delivered, the 2 man team said that they needed a 3 man team to get the refrigerator up the stairs and even took measurements of my old fridge. After talking on the phone with the supervisor, I agreed to pay $150 for now what became a 4 man team and was told to reschedule with Howards. I was not going to accept the delivery at the time, but the weaselly delivery guy said that he personally would come back with the 4 man team and make sure that the fridge was installed properly (else he would not get paid) - after which I accepted and had them put the fridge inside my entrance inside. Two days later, two of the 4 man team showed up to assess the situation - the delivery guy who made the promise to guarantee the installation was nowhere to be found (LIAR). The two men told me that not only would they be unable to install the new fridge, but they would also not be able to remove my old fridge that was slightly bigger. After getting on the phone with a manager that worked for Howards (I confirmed by asking him if he was a Howard employee), we agreed that they would not be able to install the fridge and that they would take it back to their store. He also said that I should not be charged as no work was performed. After a few days, I noticed that my money had not been refunded on my credit card, I called Howards looking for Omar. Omar was off and his manager Sarkis took the call. Sarkis basically told me that I would get charged 25% for the restocking fee plus the $150 delivery fee for the 4 man team. I told him that Omar had indicated full refund if the fridge did not fit, but Sarikis said be had a business to run and that he would have to sell the fridge at a discounted price. I also told him what the delivery manager had said about the $150 fee, Sarkis said that it was not the delivery manager's responsibility as to what got charged. Sarkis also reminded me that I had initialed the terms on the contract when making the purchase. Long story short - avoid Howard's at Alhambra. Dishonest business if you ask me. I expected better from a chain, but it seems that their business model is not about the customer. Hope someone can learn from my experience. Howards deserves no stars IMO.

I rarely write bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience with delivery of a washer/dryer. 4-5 different delivery teams had to come. (First one refused to park, 2nd one refused to install, but hauled old unit away, broke my closet, and caused a flood in my condo by leaving the hoses on the floor, 3rd team never showed up, 4th team came but didn't have stacking kit I ordered and finally, the fifth team installed properly.) I was forced by one of the teams to call a plumber only for the plumber to tell me it was unnecessary. And the stacking kit I paid for never came. Have been trying to get reimbursed for damages and the plumbing visit and Claudia in their claims department was uncommunicative and never reimbursed me. Still calling over and over to get this resolved. Don't buy from this store, their delivery service will cause you a huge headache and damage your home!

i have been trying to shop for a fridge for a month now and I am so glad I ended up at Howard's. I am truly grateful for the store manager Sarkis who went above and beyond in assisting me with selecting a new fridge. His invaluable guidance and patience made the process a breeze, and I couldn't be happier with the level of service provided. Thank you for turning what could have been a daunting task into a pleasant and informed experience.

Edward Grimaldi has been an amazing help in finding a washing machine for me. I have never seen such an attentive salesman who is watching out for the customer needs. He is on top of his information, answering all of my questions without any hesitation. Genuinely a nice guy and i recommend you ask for him when visiting.

Absolutely the best place for appliances and TV's! We always extensively research items before purchasing and Howard's always ends up having the best price. We are repeat customers. No hidden fees, no surprises. We are always treated with extreme respect and this weekend we bought a new dryer and assistant store manager Edward Grimaldi did everything he could to sweeten the already great deal. Fantastic , smooth experience for a large purchase. Highly recommend.

On October 9, 2023, I accompanied my granddaughter to Howard's store in Alhambra, California to purchase a twin size bed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the Assistant Store Manager, Edward Grimaldi. We told him what we were looking for, and he showed us all of the twin beds on display with the recommendations to sit or lie down on said mattresses. Mr. Grimaldi was very helpful in determining what product to purchase by his kind suggestions and consideration. He provided excellent service and should be applauded. Sarkis and Edward were amazing in helping us purchase a refrigerator. Their customer service is top notch and they helped alleviate any concerns we had about delivery and post purchase customer care. Sarkis was very clear and reasonable in explaining all the terms when doing the purchase and were patient with answering questions. The delivery team was also fantastic and were very careful moving everything in and taking our old fridge out. We'll be going back to them in the future!

I purchased a washer and dryer at Howards in Alhambra. Sarkis Agajanian was the Sales Representative who assisted me. He was extremely knowledgeable, was honest about the pros and cons, and did not pressure me to buy anything. He was always pleasant and answered all questions to my satisfaction. He thoroughly explained Howard's return policy and before I initialed anything on the sales receipt, he explained each item so I knew what I was initialing. Prior to delivery I needed to text him about a couple of questions and he answered promptly. If I needed another appliance, I would gladly go back to Howard's and work with Sarkis Agajanian again. He is a great representative of this store. He made everything a pleasant experience.
