He recommended a putty scraper (under a dollar!) due to it not being metal (which has negative implications when using it improperly near electronics, I did not know much about, but he explained). It worked!”

“We needed some new bathroom fixtures for tub and sink. I decided to call, send someone some pics of what we had and let them do the work and find something similar. Aminata answered that call and went above and beyond! She found options that were similar as a good starting point. She then walked us around the showroom and we found that we liked other styles. She went with the flow and helped find fixtures that would work with our setup - 4 hole vs 5 hole Roman tub. It's not cheap and neither was our first set. Hopefully this one lasts as long as the first set.”

“I must give 5 stars to the customer service we got in this Home Depot by Frank, the guy in the doors department. It was very polite and helpful. He gave my husband all the information he needed on the security doors that he needed to order. We went to the Home Depot in Downey and the one in Cerritos, Terrible customer service, we waited for half an hour on each of these stores for someone to help us, but no one showed up, when we arrived at this store , my husband ask a young guy for help and right away he called the person in charge of the doors , so Frank came like in 3 minutes, open his computer, looked for prices and dates for the special orders ?”

“I had my bathroom remolded with them. They did a good job overall. I like that they are one stop shop where I can purchase the countertop, toilet, flooring, shower door, and cabinet mirror. Anna the project manager was responsive and helped me with all my questions and concern. The contractors spoke mainly Chinese but Anna helped translate for us. The only tip I have is confirming the contractors schedule as some of their contractors don’t work weekends and holidays.”

“I spend thousands of dollars yearly utilizing Home Depot purchases to maintain my real estate investments. Furthermore, the customer service is top-notch. However, my most recent interaction with Alyssa, a manager, could have been better. I just found a $52 item purchased one year ago that was not opened. I attempted to return it today, and it was denied. Alyssa's defensive posturing did not insure me as a customer, and she led me to believe logging on to The Retail Equation (TRE) website would clarify why my return was denied and that the site would ensure me of receiving store credit for the purchased item. That was not the case; there was no human being to discuss customer concerns. Their "return items" section 1-800 number had only four options: 1. major appliances, 2, new orders/online purchases, 3. local Home Depot questions, and 4, local Home Depot credit card purchases. No exclusive phone number is explicitly designated for refunds, questions, concerns, or contingencies. I'm glad they are not the only option in town, and if this problem is not resolved equitably, I have other choices.”

He knew he most likely didn’t have what we were looking for and he still went and checked through his inventory. “This is to acknowledge Sophia and Liz who helped us with our washing machine purchase. We had an issue with the one we originally purchased (the detergent compartment was blocked by our sliding dooor). Both ladies were super patient with us and explained pros/cons. Sophia actually gave us a little discount for having to coming back to the store. Hopefully, all goes as smoothly this Saturday when they haul away our old one, the one we originally bought and install the new one. Thank you girls!”

“This is for the kids workshop and i loved it! This concept is so cool and lets kids get hands on and dirty! Why not?! The kids workshop is usually out back to the side. The place has a huge parking lot and lots of options within.”

Usually, any store you enter, the employees immediately greet the customers with a happy face and try to provide the best service to the customer, which will ultimately lead to better sales. But here it is completely the opposite. Their attempt is to make the customer run away as if it is a government store, the employees have fixed salaries and it doesn't matter how much they sell in a month. “Was in the area and stopped by on our way home to pick up a garage door opener. I was surprised at how late they were open til (8 or 9pm, I forget) and how "unbusy" it was but that probably had to do with the time of day (early Sunday evening). Found what we were looking for after a bit of a search with the help of an employee. Was able to get in and out with ease. Store was clean and aisles free of clutter.”

“First off, let me clarify where I am applying the 5 stars, it's not for this specific location but more specifically it's for the service I received from Brenda (cashier/associate/representative) from this Home Depot. I don't want to nor do I feel the need to write a review for this or any Home Depot location because each associate encounter I interact with is either a "hit or miss" in terms of assistance or knowledge/experience. Today was very different, the service I received from Brenda validates that there are still "great customer service" representatives out there! How do I know this?! In my younger years, I worked for an employer (banking) who prides themselves on "customer servive" and therefore felt the need to conduct special customer service training at least once a year and on the weekends. I'm not sure if they still do this. Anyhow, there were certain points from this training that I noticed/received from Brenda. As I was waiting for the "cash line," I witnessed the cashier finishing up with a customer and began to close her register (cash tray out to balance cash vs receipts). She noticed me waiting, and instantaneously put her cash tray back into the register as she called me over. She then proceeded to give me a warm welcome, nice greeting (pleasant tone), eye contact and a smile (can see the smile from her eyes eventhough she's wearing a mask). I asked her a question (about returns), she answered it by stepping away from the plexiglass (for me to hear her better) and pointed in the area where I could do the returns if need be. Then, she rung up my purchases, which came out to $21.51. I gave her $22.00 in cash, she grabs an extra penny from her counter, gives me $0.50 back. I don't know about you but I dislike holding the extra pennies, so I thought this was a very nice gesture. Then, she handed me a bag with my receipt inside, and told me to have a nice day. Again, with eye contact, a smile, and a pleasant tone. From now on, this will be my Home Depot of choice, and I'll always be on the look out for Brenda's assistance!”
