I been going here for a while and the people that work there are very nice, but they charge substantially higher price for OEM parts than the dealer. My check engine light went on for the Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold and Arsenio stated that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced WITHOUT examining the car. I asked are you sure the problem is the Cat and NOT anything else and he told me the code P0420 means the Cat needs to be replaced. Vianney said she has to special order the part from the Dealer and priced it at $1,900 plus $400 for labor for a total of $2,300. The Dealer has the part at $1022. I got a second opinion and the mechanic examined my car and diagnosed the P0420 code as a bad oxygen sensor and NOT the CAT, which only cost me about $200 to replace. If I trusted Hidalgo, I would have spent $2,300 for a Cat replacement and it still would not have solved the problem. I have no problem with the car since the Oxy was replaced. I was disturbed with Hidalgo Toyota that I checked my past invoices and noticed that a substantial amount of parts charged were higher than the Dealer by 20 to over 50%, except for the CAT which was about 90% higher. I would HIGHLY recommend that anybody who brings their car to Hidalgo Toyota to check the parts they charge against the dealer and make sure you always get a second opinion! Don't make the same mistake I made and became too comfortable with them.

I've been taking my cars here for many years, several Toyotas and a Subaru (that one lasted me 16 years and 300K miles thanks to Hidalgo!). Always great service and friendly people!

I’m from out of state and was in town just for the weekend when on Saturday my check engine light came on. I was pretty worried and didn’t want to drive all the way back home without knowing what was wrong. All the local Toyota dealers wanted to know was if I had an appointment, oh, and they had no openings available and are closed on Sunday. So I found Hidalgo Toyota Services on Google and called them. Even though it was their closing time, they said I could come and they could at least check the diagnostic codes and let me know what the problem was. So I ran down there and they checked and then showed me in the engine exactly what the problem was and took time to explain it to me. They told me it was no big deal and gave me a lot of reassurance me that it was safe to drive my family all the way back home. So that was a big relief and they didn’t charge me anything. So nice when you find a business like this that cares about its customers. If I ever have a problem again while I’m in town I’m going to come straight here to get it fixed. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a car repair shop. My boyfriend and I both have Camry's-- his had an exhaust issue, he took it to Hidalgo, and was raving about how great they were. So when my Camry sprung a leak, I knew where to take it. My boyfriend was right-- Hidalgo is the place to go for Toyota repair. Viane, Lyonel, and Alfonso were all so honest, helpful, and knowledgeable. They're transparent with what they charge for and why, and they . They actually want to help you fix your car, not take your money. They are wonderful, seriously. I just moved to this area and am so thrilled to have a great car repair shop nearby-- they've gained a lifetime customer just by one great visit. My boyfriend and I will never be taking our cars anywhere else.

Brought my 04 4runner for an oil change, check for a squealing belt and a wheel bearing. They look for everything and explained me everything. Nice mecanics who knows what there doing. They're like an old school garage where you can talk to the mecanic and see what there're doing on you car. I recommand this garage to anyone for their toyota or Lexus

I have been going here for the past 15 years to have my Toyota serviced. I am so happy with them and they do a great job. They are very honest people and count my blessings. I have referred quite a few people to them and have been very satisfied as well.
