I have been a Costco member since 1995, back when it was still Price Club, but my recent experience with Costco Tires in Alhambra, CA was very disappointing.
I called at 9:00 AM on a Sunday and spoke with a representative who assured me that my Tesla tire (with a nail in it) could be repaired, even though I didn’t buy it from Costco. Based on that, I went in at 10:03 AM, spoke with an employee named Mario, paid for the service, and was told again that the tire could be repaired.
However, almost three hours later (at 12:43 PM), I got a call from another rep, Jerry, who informed me that my tire couldn’t be repaired because it wasn’t purchased from Costco. This was a complete waste of my time and shows a lack of coordination and care for customers.
As a long-time member, I expected better. Costco’s service used to be reliable, but it seems like they no longer care as much about their members.

Bought 2 tires. Set up appointment for installation. I show to appointment and they tell me it'll be an estimated 1.5 hr wait - they'll call me when it's ready. That's fine, I'm not going to stand or sit there on the bench waiting on a hot day so I'll go walk around and eat and chill at Alhambra park. 3.5 hours go by and no phone call. The shop is about to close so i finally go check on my car. Apparently my car was ready in 1 hr 10 min but "10 point vehicle release" guy, CHAZ MILLER, never called me to let me know... No missed calls, no voicemail, no text message - nothing! 10 point vehicle release but can't do the simplest, courteous act of calling your customer to them know their car is ready. And of course he's not at the shop anymore. Thanks for wasting my god damn time.

Stellar service. They get busy after 4-5… but they definitely provide top tire as quick as possible service. Make sure to make an appointment ahead of time. Gerardo Camacho with A1 customer service. Thank you Gerardo!

Best tire service in LA. The specialists Luis and Joseph and George who helped me definitely made the day better than it was going. So glad I had my flat tire car towed to Costco Alhambra. I shall always continue to purchase my tires from this Costco in the future .

Tony was so helpful. We multiple issues with our tire and he was do gracious with helping resolve it today. We are so grateful for his patience & understanding. He is the best supervisor.

I stopped by a few days ago to fill up my tires at the self serve air station. One of them wasn't registering the pressure correctly, so I asked a tire center employee to double check that I wasn't going crazy. Phong (unsure of spelling!) was so kind to me and the woman in the next spot trying to sort out the situation. He helped us troubleshoot, was so patient with us, and ultimately ended up filling up our tires for us. A special shout out to Phong for being an amazing human!

Your tire center representative was rude af and he gives me inaccurate information.I asked if the tire center can install one of my spare tires that I have on my car because I have a flat but I was told that I can.However when I called the MP costco, they said they only install tires from costco. So what's the correct fact here?

3 HOURS to get my ONE tire replaced. Manager was unprofessional so was Jared the tech. Ignored my request to replace the upper passenger, failed to communicate many times. Made an appointment and when I arrived they claimed I never made it. I will never comeback. Not to mention when I observed them working, they swept for 15 while I was the only customer in the bays left and no one even touched my car for no reason.

There's a rogue tire slasher in my neighborhood who got me twice. The gentlemen at the Alhambra costco tire center made two very crappy days way less crappy with their kindness, compassion, and incredible service.These professionals seem to understand how stressful it is to need new tires, and they do what they can to make your experience better. The first time, one of the gentlemen showed me pictures of his cute dog. The second time, they gentlemen found a discount that I qualified for, and it ended up cutting the price by HALF. I am so impressed by the respectful, kind vibes of the Alhambra Costco tire team

A few days ago, I went for tire rotation. The next day, I noticed a hubcap and valve cap was missing, so I approached their manager Aaron, later he showed me the footage confirming the they did install the hubcap, but did it show they snap it back properly? I don’t think so, cause I noticed the valve caps were installes very loosely, too.I am upset because the tire center manager Aaron refused to admit it was an employee's mistake, instead attributing the issue to the hubcap being cheap and made of plastic, claiming they are prone to getting loose or missing, yeah, for 1.5 year it was firmly attached to the wheels, and it just went missing the next day after the rotation? Such behavior from an employee at a company like Costco, known for its customer service quality, is simply disgraceful.Update: A warehouse manager was super nice, he helped me solve this issue.
