Horrible parking situation. Checkers are busy texting on their phones while they are supposed to be ringing you up. Seriously, the checker stopped ringing me up to read and reply to a text. So unprofessional and rude. No wonder they're being replaced by self-checkout. Do yourself a favor and either make your purchases online or get a Sam's membership for El Monte. You can save yourself a lot of headaches and time by using your phone to checkout at Sam's. Sam's also has better prices than Costco.

Go early to find parking and avoid gridlock in the store. Bring patience. The prices quality and selection are worth it.

Nothing special about this place. I was excited to visit and see different options from California Costco. Nothing caught my eye.

I'm first time ordering a big item and was very satisfied with Costco's communication. The day before delivery, I was notified via text and call indicating the estimated time of delivery. The day of delivery, I recieved several texts indicating that (1) delivery in transit and on the way (2) delivery is almost arriving and (3) and text from the driver that delivery was 5 minutes away. When they arrived, service was quick, professional and friendly. Thank you for the ease in delivering my freezer!

I wasn't sure who was more stressed at this location, myself hunting for last minute items that were missing, or the staff members that I interacted with.Compared to the handful of other Costco locations that I've visited, this one easily ranks lowe(r/st) on the list. Although I had visited closer to closing hours, I noticed that there was attitude when it came to closing hours, and they swept pretty quick without warning. Other locations that I've visited generally announce it with a 5 minute warning. The location of items were sometimes difficult to find; I spent a few minutes hunting for avocados only to find that they were at another section near the rest of the fruit. For bananas, there weren't any that were ripe, which is rare. Broccoli? Couldn't find it in the refrigerator section with other vegetables where they generally are. Greek yogurt? Couldn't even find it in the freezer area.Checkout? Average and less enjoyable, though one of the better parts of my experience here since it meant I was finished inside.

The service sucks, from the people on the floor to the person at the returns, it's like they know they got you by the you know what, so they just don't care, like where we gonna go?? I guess we just deal with it. Gosh, not a single nice person here. :(

This is probably one of the busiest Costco in SoCal. It's always pack, even on weekdays. The line for gasoline is always pack but moves relatively quickly. They also have tire and battery service for cars. The food court is outside and you need your Costco card to order food! The churro is delicious here! They sell variety of products, a lot of Asian products due to the large amount of Asians shopping here. I love using the self check out since it usually quicker and easier. However, sometimes they check your membership if your the account holder.

This Costco certainly rates pretty low on the good Costcos. Lines are a bit slow, I got a chicken that was pretty dry, and sadly there was only one sample guy on a Thursday. Aim to go off peak hours because the gas section is horribly placed so the lines back out all the way to the entrance, it'll make you want to turn around and go home. Overall it's Costco, you still go in, get the goods, go home haha.

Yeah, it's a Costco. I have a membership just because their gas prices are cheaper than the average gas station. Definitely think it's worth it. However, the gas line can be really rough sometimes. Depending on the time of day, it can stretch out onto the street. They also closed off one particular entrance since it would cut into the gas line so you'd have to go around the block to get to the side entrance. Even though the line seems long and crazily wraps around the actual parking lot, it does move fairly quickly. There's a good number of stalls as well. The products of this particular Costco seems to be more Asian-related, probably because of its location. You can find some things here that you're unlikely to find at the Costco in MDR. Self checkout tends to be faster. The last time I was here, they made you show your Costco card to the attendants at the self checkout line to ensure you weren't using someone else's card, so they're pretty strict on that and I saw a woman get turned away. Some bad things here and there but I'm still going to come back for the gas and occasionally pop in to the store to grab some things in bulk.

I'm giving this Costco a 4 because the employees are good, I love the variety of goods and the convenience. I usually don't have a problem finding what I need aside this visit I was on a search for a sou vie probe with no luck. But OMG!!!!!! The people that shop there are just the rudest people ever! It doesn't matter what walk of life they come from, the theme with all is "get out of my way" attitudes! Shoving through with those big carts acting as if they are the only people in the store and they have VIP status. I have to get in combat mode going though the aisles as I try to get my needs and head to the checkstand area. The customers really ruin this location! Even the gas station area is more civil. All of you that work there should get a metal of honor, seriously... and I hope y'all get paid more than most.

Normally, I am a fan of all Costco stores. This location in Alhambra is an exception. Their parking lot situation is too chaotic. They share the same parking lot as a strip mall, and it gets crazy trafficky!! Too much potential for accidents. So 1 star for the parking lot. Almost changed my mind about shopping here because of that. Family wanted to go in, though, so we did. Great deals to be found everywhere you look. We try to go into any Costco with only specific items on our list. Most of the time, we purchase more than we want. Too much temptations! The snack bar was a mess!!! Condiment station was empty. Fountain drink machine was mostly empty too. Very disappointing. Can't beat the cheap prices though.
