Service was nice but they're not open during the posted business hours. Call ahead before going. Selection is limited because it is a small family -owned business. But according to other reviews, it appears they can order things for you. If that's the case, I can order things online myself. Price - know the retail price for what you're buying. I came to buy a gift knowing the price of the item. However, because of their limited selection, they had the item from another brand. After my purchase and doing further research online, it turns out I was overcharged by $20.

Attn: Martial Arts Shoppers,As a former USMC Veteran that served during a campaign overseas, I am usually a big supporter of small businesses with the believe that every veteran we have lost in past wars and campaigns did not give up their lives in vain but rather to afford the opportunity to all Americans and those that have come to this great country to achieve the American dream of owning a business. Inasmuch as I hate to post this bad review, I will say not all businesses value their customers or adhere to the principles of honesty, integrity, and good service. This is the case with Alhambra Fight Shop. On August 28, 2023, I decided to stop and purchase a punching bag and some sparring gloves with intentions to send it overseas to a martial arts school I sponsor. I had requested and asked if it would be possible to have it wrapped for shipping of which he responded that it would not be a problem but it would cost additional. He indicated that I should pick it up the following Monday of which I told him I would not be able to since I did not live in the Los Angeles area. On September 8. 2023, I was able to come to the Los Angeles area and decided to pick up the bag. To my surprise, he mentioned that it was not ready and for me to come in the next day or drive to Reseda to pick it up. Like anyone else, I was frustrated after waiting for 3 weeks and it was all paid in full for a total of $275.00. Clearly it suggested to me that the business is struggling and take every open opportunity to scam its customers. In conclusion and with frustration, I decided to purchase another bag from another business. I would advice all veterans and other shoppers to not trust Mr. Fred with his finesse and sweet talking and hoping that if you are looking for martials arts supplies, seek purchasing at another business. I am blessed that my loss of the funds I paid is a small amount and will conclude with a saying, “What comes around goes around”. Certainly not a veteran friendly business. Be on the lookout for a Tik Tok video to get the word out.Semper Fi!USMC

I've been going to this place for years. Even picked up my very first Judo gi here many years ago... which I still have. The owner is well versed in the equipment he sells but make sure you know what you want first as it would help the owner make better recommendations. Parking can be challenging at times, and be cautious when entering the parking lot: the shop is located in a corner of a Main Street so the roads yield many drivers per day.

I love mom and pop shops. I had trained for 8 years and then stopped due to life and bills. I recently got back into my roots of martial arts and boxing. So when i decided to look for a new pair of gloves I wasn't going to settle. Iv'e had a variety of gloves that eventually gave out due to training and sparring. I had these authentic leather gloves and I was looking for that same quality. This shop offered a variety of gloves. I of course tried the pro and everlast before but most of those gloves feel cheap. When I tried outslayer which is this shops custom glove. You could feel the quality. The inside has enough cushion for the knuckles and fingers. The outside didn't feel synthetic like the pros/everlast. Time to get back into it! Side note: I train on a heavy bag at home so I went with the 16oz gloves. Even without wraps you still feel the protection which is a plus. They also threw in a free pair of wraps!

Stopped by to purchase a 150LB heavy bag. Had also previously underestimated how to properly fill a muay thai heavy bag I purchased off Amazon, that I was luckily able to bring over and get their help. The owner Fred is great. Helped me out with everything and gave very competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

Came in looking for a 100lbs heavy bag as a birthday present, shop owner Fred and Mo showed us the different types of bags and colors they had. They took the time to explain how to set up the stands. They had a lot of options/types if bags/and colors all made themselves. Great quality and good price. Excellent service, very nice owner and shop. Best prices and satistied! Thank you!

I bought a 20x20 boxing ring from Ali, who brother Owns the fight shop, who built my ring. I was very disappointed with the ring. the Ring still needs adjustments because the plywood doesn't fit correctly. the metal came at one inch which should have been at least 1.5 or 2 inch. I had to hire a welder to add and weld additional metal to the frame because it's not built correctly. I saw pro boxing ring and it looked very steady not what I. Light and received. I ended up paying 8k when all done. i screwed up, I should of just bought a boxing ring from china and took my chances m. it might of been done right. So if you buy a ring ask questions and don't pay for something that ain't fine right.
