The service was abysmal; they made an error in my tax return, which ended up costing me a significant sum to rectify. Not once did they offer an apology or assistance. I was left with no choice but to seek out someone else to correct their mistake.

Terrible service... I called and made an appointment. I go in the office and no one greets me, it's inside of some small room, 3 people working no fan no AC, no water and even with an appointment I still had to sit there and wait and waste my time! I walked to H&R Block after 15min... IF YOU ARE UNDERSTAFFED?! THEN DON'T OVERBOOK! Greed! DON'T COME HERE, you got workers inviting their daughter during their work shift, dressed in pajamas unprofessional garbage thanks for wasting my time

So glad i found this spot! Ive been doing my taxes with liberty tax and stopped doing business with them because they never submitted my state refund and so i never got a stimulis check! I saw this business had great reviews and so i called them and they said i was able to come in without an appointment. I was greeted by everyone and was helped out by Magdalene. She's super sweet and helpful. I briefly told her about my situation with liberty tax. She told me they also scammed her years ago! Another associate overheard our convo and came to ask about my situation with liberty tax. Then the owner Nasseif, came to me as well and they all gave me advice on what to do about liberty tax, which i really appreciated because i thought there was nothing i was able to do about it but now i know i can go after them. The service was very quick and Magdalene showed me everything she was submitting and broke everything down. I thought i was going to have to pay taxes this year but i ended up getting a refund! Their fees are very affordable and they even gave me a discount!! I left very happy! My family and i are going here from now on! I highly recommend this tax business! I also love the diversity here! Mr. Garras prepared my two-state tax returns for 2020 and 2021 with the refunds to which I was entitled. Even though I no longer live in Long Beach, I will make an appointment with him to prepare my 2022 taxes. He is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to tax returns! Thank you! Kim

I'll only write a bad review if I really don't appreciate or dislike the customer service. A friend recommended me to this location. I decided to go and give them a try. The lady that helped me was super kind, but I did have a hard time understanding her bc of her accent. She told me approximately I would be receiving around $5k. But she had to go on her lunch and her co-worker helped me and it ended up going down to $4k which I should of asked why I was told 2 different refund amounts. So I went ahead and ended up filing my taxes anyways. I do feel like you get overcharged for doing your taxes. I been to other locations where they charge less. But continuing the story, I filed my taxes on Mid February this year & ended up getting denied my social has been getting used. Which I'm aware it's been happening these past few years so I been using the PIN the IRS sends me to verify I'm saying who I am. 2-3 days later I file my taxes through mail. It's now been 5 DAMN way too long months. Completely understand the whole COVID situation and them being understaffed, the IRS. Not long ago I get a call from one of the ladies from "Best Tax Services," I easily recognize who I'm speaking too but I'm just bad with names. She asked me if I received my taxes yet. I just tell them no and that I'm pretty upset, having to wait this long and she tells me they have other customers of waiting for their refunds as well. Lastly, she said to pay them as soon as I get it. Mind you I'm already irritated waiting this long for my tax refund. Today I get a call from the same lady asking if I already received my tax refund yet and I told her no & that I called the IRS and they told me to wait another 16 weeks and sounds hesitant and replied with "when you receive your taxes come pay them." At this point I'm pretty annoyed like how are you gonna tell me to pay you if I haven't received my refund. Obviously I know I have to. Wouldn't recommend any of my friends or family to come here. I don't fully feel like I got enough help from any of them besides the lady who helped me through the 1st half of taxes.

This spot hands down is amazing, I got to work with Mr Nasseif Garras and let me tell you about red carpet treatment. Gentlemen sat down with me and line by line did everything to make sure we got the best refund possible. Explain every question I could possibly ask while being soooo calm, cool and collective. Best experience ever getting my taxes done! My taxes have become a little more complicated so I searched for an expert to help maximize my return. So happy to have found Nasseif and Best Tax! First of all, the entire team is so kind, patient and helpful. I have never had someone take me through so much detail when doing my taxes. It was clear in the 5 minutes, I had absolutely come to the right place. I came in concerned I would have to pay the IRS and walked out with my biggest return ever. Despite all the time spent with me (on two visits no less), they came in exactly on point with what they quoted me. They are extremely reasonable considering the level of service and expertise you receive. They are also so honest and really want to ensure they are doing the best job for everyone who comes to see them. I can't thank and highly recommend them enough!
