Dish used to be really dependable and quite good. Instead of keeping up with changing viewing habits they've become lazy and out of touch. Their programming packages are geared to new customers and not customer retention. The "deals" for newbies is ridiculous when a 17 year customer gets to pay more for fewer channels. Soon as my new antennas arrive I'll be cutting the cable along with millions of younger people. The future is real choices and paying for what you watch not dozens of sports channels and endless shopping channels. Who actually buys that much junk from watching tv ? No one. Bye bye dish

I called Dish to get a price quote for their "bundled internet/tv" service today. The Sales Representative told me that after getting all of my information (credit card and social security), he will email me the detailed price quote for the bundled service. I was shocked when I got his email!!!! The invoice did not match with what he sold me over the phone. There was NO internet service at all. The whole thing was a scam. In order to cancel the service, I stayed on the phone for two hours. What a waste of time!!!!!

Direct TV BAD, Spectrum GOOD, Dish even BETTER. Great program packages, vastly superior Hopper DVR, wonderful internet connection, best price and value, free installation, no service interuptions, great customers service with call backs honored. Leaves all others in the dust!!!!

I just want to say I called to inquire about the internet, I'm a gamer and the guy was upfront saying that their service is not good for gaming. It just felt really good to have someone be upfront with me, so even though I have no experience with the service I'm giving them 4 stars for honesty, something you rarely find with these companies.
