I love the service, they take care of you at this bank. They’re so patient and friendly. They take care of all of your banking needs. All staff and they speak various languages to Spanish English. Mandarin. Very clean. Always just great service a 10 out of a 10 I would give the whole bank.

I was "helped" by a lady teller around 4:32 PM 11/01/23 to cash my own check with my own signature at one of my own personal accounts and I have been a customer of Bank of The West (Now BMO) for over 14 years and have never encountered a most inefficient, time wasting, incompetent and inappropriate teller at any other brank of this bank. She kept asking me odd questions such as why I chose the name of the LLC and how she found it weird she used "interesting" to describe and kept probing me about it and kept looking at me inappropriately. Another nicer young man went to help her as she had absolutely no idea what she was doing her system could not verify my own signature for an amount that was less than 4% of my holdings on a check I wrote with a verifiable ID. I suggested she called the original branch, I suggested I could withdraw funds from the ATM and she sort of said yes and asked me personal questions about the type of business I was in and kept looking at me as I would say either judgingly or perhaps checking me out. It was very uncomfortable. I was trying to help her do her job and the result was that 4:57 PM came around and it was too late to call the branch she claims she had called( I doubt it) and did not cash my check!! after all her time wasting techniques to keep me in front of her she did nothing and the management wasn't any helpful at all as she did leave once to talk to the manager. I don't have 28 minutes to waste with an incompetent inappropriate and clueless teller.....save your time and go to a different branch!

DO NOT GO HERE! Very rude to customers. David Castillo is very rude when helping customers over the phone. The branch Manager completely forget about me and handled another customer while I was one hold. I tried to get more information but she did not want to speak with me anymore. I have seen other black people say the same and latinos also. DO NOT GO HERE!

I should have read some of the reviews here prior to opening three accounts at this branch in hopes of having a local bank that can help me with my small business needs. From the stunningly slow operations to the people that can't seem to answer the most basic banking questions to the bankers not making obvious suggestions (setting up online banking) I can't understand how the management is pushing this type of business experience. I've made a pretty big switch to put my business banking relationship here and may have to change if the experience isn't improved within a few weeks.

Hello,I am less than happy with this branch. I contacted this branch to handle an online matter. I was hung up on by the manager. (Jennifer) She never called me back, and I spoke to several reps there that lied about info. The carelessness that was displayed by the associates that I spoke to makes me not want to bank with B of W. I see why the reviews are bad.

Save yourself a lot of money and headache and bank literally anywhere else. Especially if you are a small business hoping for growth in your company, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hope this helps someone before they have to deal with the same nightmares I've been dealing with.

I went to the branch opened a CD 10/11/2017 when I received a promotion coupon from the bank with 2% interest rate. Ms. O processed all paper work, she folded, put in a folder, and gave to me. 11/11/2018 was mature day, I supposed to get a renewal notice by mail and email according to account setting, but I got none. The CD was renewed automatically with 0.2% rate or pay 3% of principal for early with draw penalty. I also found out I did not get 2% rate I supposed to get but 1.5% for previous year. I talked to the manager, he denied that the branch had opened CD and did not answered me about the mistakes of renewal notice. I cannot trust this branch anymore.

Highly recommend. Bank of the West is not your ordinary banking or financial institution. Staff personalized your needs to the financial services that the bank offers. My banker Deanna O contacts me when the bank is offering promotions that meet my banking needs.

Why am reviewing a bank?!? This is the fourth time I totally regret my decision to come to this branch so I think it is time for a honest review. Jaren M usually helps me and every time my simple deposit or withdrawal takes 15-20 minutes. Why? I don't know, he seems uninterested in helping (which is fine I could care less as long as I can get my banking done), and always needs to call somebody to help him reverse the transaction To redo it. Why does he keep messing up every single time that he has to redo everything every time I go in? After a good 15-20 minutes of fumbling around and taking in the computer, I finally get my cash, which he just lays out on the desk on his side of the table. Um, am I supposed to reach in and grab the cash? Usually at any they bank they will ask if you need an envelope, but nope, I had to ask for an envelope myself. Weird customer service. If you're looking to get stuff done, please go to the botw on Atlantic or Pasadena. My goodness, I would like to see this Jaren guys year n d appraisal. He is just god awful at not being able to efficiently do his job let alone the lack of customer service training attitude. Awful branch since he is almost always the one helping me. No more regrets from now on, I would rather drive an extra 5 minutes to a different branch than to leave angry and frustrated every time. I would recommend his Manager review his interaction with clients and provide him some feedback.

I went into this bank to try to open an account, after spending one hour opening the account the banker who was helping us made a mistake in the DOB and preferred names and he wanted us to come back another day. Unfortunately, I could not spare to spend more time driving around another day for a mistake he made. I told him I did not want the account open, and a week later I come to find out he opened the account without my authorization. I never signed for an account. I told him to cancel the process yet he still went forward and opened my account without my signature. Shady bank.

He bank Kevin Huang is horrible. The first time he lied to me was last year when I wanted to close my account. He told me that I just wrote the amount on the temporary check, didn't need to go to the teller asking for a cashier check, I felt not right because that's not the way other banks close the account. I double checked with him, asking him several times to make sure that's the right procedure. He firmly told me yes. One month later I got $59 overdraft fee. Then I went to the branch ask him, he said he would waive the fee. This April I went to open an account because I saw a promotion on the bank page, he didn't tell me if I used to get reward in 2015, I wouldn't be able to get any rewards this year. He lied to me again. I asked him today why I hadn't gotten reward, then finally he told me I got reward in 2015, so this time I didn't qualify . But he told me he would waive $4 insufficient check fee for me, I went home and go online , he didn't waive the fee for me. This is the third time he lied to me. I am so sad how the Bank of The west trains its employees, just in order to get customers or his/ hers performces or commissions, then lies to the customers. That's fraud!!! Terrible service , the employee is dishonest in this branch.
