Quite the toy store. The staff are friendly, I went in looking for a unique chess board and they had one in stock. The prices are quite fetching in this store and I did not get the item because of that, but still a good spot for the family and kids in the neighborhood to meander in and have fun.

My bf and I went to fuel our inner child on Valentines Day and just so happened to come across this incredible toy store. Not only do they have an incredible variety and selection of both used and new toys-- they have options for all socioeconomic statuses. Even if you have a couple of bucks you can find something special to take home! How cool!!! Additionally, we had a heartfelt convo with the owner of the store and her son. Great people, great value, and super great toys!!! We will be back:)

I was pretty excited to take my son here. It's in walking distance. Both times, the staff wasn't at all friendly. They actually seemed annoyed. The prices aren't great. I could have bought the toys cheaper new but there is something about letting your kid pick out a toy in person. The store is very cute and they have a really nice selection. I would come back to give my son a treat.

We've been coming here since my kids were little. Now that they are 20 and almost 15 it is still one of our favorite places! Shout out to Tyler who is always so knowledgeable about whatever our latest obsession is, and super helpful!

Outstanding hobby shop toy store, great for adults and children. Just please be mindful of the items they have for sale. This isn’t a regular toy store where your kid can just grab something. The item may be 30 years old, like an old Star Wars figure that I would like to collect. They were able to help me in a pinch on a very difficult to find item. Amazing customer service. This store has lots of history. It’s the kind of business and the kind of people that make the bay area what it is. The best place to live.

I love toy go round. They know their prices so it's a great place for kids to go and decide what they want to spend their own money on. Get kids to make their own decisions when confronted with a history of toys. This toy store is a treasure!

Parents of Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, and surrounding areas: make sure you visit Toy-Go-Round! The selection of second-hand toys is second to none, and every time I go there I go all wobbly due to the great selection of items. If you have any negative connotations about used toys, banish them from your mind. These toys are practically drool-inducing even to a cynical-eyed father of two. Also, they can take toys off your hands and you can make good money for them. Kind and knowledgeable staff, welcoming environment, a locally owned business. Make this a regular monthly place to drop off and shop!

I came across this store on a walk in the neighborhood. I am so glad I stopped in. They had so much to offer. I love how they offer new toys and toys there were from consignment. I love a good consignment store and this is one of them. I found some treasures and can't wait to go back again. The staff were super nice and helpful!

I love the variety of toys here and the staff are always helpful. I also love that these toys avoid the landfill. They have some good niche toys like specific cards or lego people or classic Disney movies, but their prices aren't always best on bigger items (think marble tracks, STEM sets, more recent board games). I love their costume/puppets as well.

I have been shopping here for decades and there are many reasons why. As a former Lego builder and collector, they always have a wide selection of assorted bags and completed sets in boxes which are priced accordingly. Any Lego fan knows that older sets will command prices above original retail, but at Toy Go Round you have the comfort of knowing that Tyler will ensure that as many original pieces will be used to complete any set that goes up for sale. Tyler's Lego knowledge is as deep as mine, and what a pleasure it is to that the Lego sold her is assembled by someone with a deep love and respect for such a venerable toy. The knowledge of all the staff regarding the products on sale is very comprehensive. If you have a question, someone will have an answer! The variety of books, puzzles, games, coloring books, action figures, video games & peripherals and other items for babies and very young children is quite impressive. Everything is very well-organize, easy to browse, and for such a small space, EVERY available spot is used! Every visit I am compelled to walk the aisles and marvel at the selection, even if it's not an interest of mine. Toy Go Round is a passionate business and that is reflected in every aspect. I look forward to doing business with them for many more decades!
