I stopped by here during one of my runs from campus to Albany, and the place was really nice. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and I found everything that I was looking for. I collect tumbled gem stones and got a lapis lazuli, an angelite, and a cinnabrite stone today. I may have to stop by the Berkeley location at some point this week as well since it’s a little closer to campus. Overall, a great experience.

I love the Stone Room! It has a great selection of crystals and stones at very fair prices. They also have a fantastic assortment of gemstone beads. Tenzin is always delightful and knowledgeable to work with. I have picked up some great stones here, and I know they are sourced in the best way possible via Tashi's travels and direct relationships with suppliers in each country. Most crystal stores that buy from gem shows and have no idea where their products are coming from, so I feel far better about buying from The Stone Room.

A marvelous sanctuary to visit, wander within and feel vibratory brilliance. And if crystal vibes are not your thing, the visual splendor of nature's marvels will captivate your eyes! The owners are wonderful people, deeply spiritual and very knowledgeable about all things stone and crystal. Recently they hosted Tibetan Buddhist Monks to create a sand mandala in their warehouse, spending a week in creation. We were invited to witness both the creation of the Mandala and ultimately the ceremony of blessing and removal wherein each participant received a small bag of the sand to bring home for our own house blessing. To witness so close the creation and this ceremony up close is quite a rare treat. If interested ask about their connection to the greater Tibetan Buddhist community.

Wild experience in the stone room. So many stones, gems, minerals from around the globe - the variety is insane. Items from $1- 10,000. Shops like this always make me question whether it is ethically sourced from the parent country. The owners are incredibly friendly and talkative but be prepared to be followed around everywhere and scrutinized since the thieves have ruined it for everyone.

I happened to stop by the Stone Room and was welcomed by the owner (later, I learned her name is Tenzin). More than just customer service, I sensed a very calm and kind presence from her. While I was mesmerized by the collection, she gave me helpful guidance about the stones in relation to each chakra, which led to a more enjoyable conversation, later joined by her husband, whose energy was very much similar to Tenzin. They shared with me about the upcoming event, Sand Mandala, which I find fascinating. I really enjoyed talking with them so much that I was there almost an hour. I found a beautiful blue stone that spoke to me and got myself a gift for 2024. I felt very touched to realize that they sell more than healing stones and do so much more for the community they are part of, which made me want to support the local business even more going forward.

I have been a loyal customer of Stone Room since they first opened. A humble friendly store owner with and very big selection of stones. I am always happy with my experience of shopping there. Consistency, honesty, expertise in gemology, and exceptional customer service. She even makes customized necklaces for me. I have great enjoyment and many compliments when I wear her custom designed necklaces. They have the best selection of always new inventory, best prices, best customer service and best expertise in gemology. I'm not surprised they have 5 stars?
