“We absolutely love Rising Sun Montessori School!! Our child has been attending this preschool for almost 2 years and we have been so pleased with everything this school has to offer. The owner, Carolina, is incredible with the children. She is patient, knowledgeable, kind, and very welcoming. The same is true of the other teachers as well. They are very accommodating of each family's needs and they make our child feel very safe. I feel very comfortable leaving my child in their care. They provide an excellent early education and wonderful social skill-building. At pick-up, my child often doesn't want to leave school because she is having so much fun with her friends and loves her teachers! We are planning to enroll our younger two children when the time comes.”

“My children attended Little Lamb and it was an incredible experience. The administrator and teachers are incredibly kind, attentive, supportive, and really care about each child's individual needs and what works with their personality. For example, my oldest child is very mature, and the teachers found ways to have her be their little 'helper' and help lead the yoga class which got her more engaged and challenged. The teachers are also really patient and nice, and my kids always remarked that they liked them. The activities they do at school are very creative and I loved seeing all the art work and crafts that they brought home. The lesson plans are very impressive with songs, art, science, play, and I really felt like my kids were getting a well-rounded experience where they were learning and also having fun. The school is also top-notch when it comes to health and safety -- from applying sunscreen and hats, to taking temperatures at the door and hand-washing, which was very important to me. My children also flourished in their Mandarin language skills which was absolutely amazing to see. We have graduated and gone on, but we loved our time at Little Lamb and couldn't have been happier.”

“My son graduated ACCenter in 2023, and he loved and learned so much from here. This is the best place to preschoolers. Especially, Danial, teacher Mitra, and teacher Pack are amazing people who love to work with children. My family always appreciated and will enroll my daughter soon. We love this place so much .”

“This community center has helpful staff, decent facilities and great activities for the whole family. We come here all the time. The bathrooms are always clean, and the ping-pong table is always set up in the lobby.”

“Our son started here recently, a big transition from daycare to "big boy school" aka preschool. All of the teachers are so nice and accommodating! He has already fully acclimated and is excited to go in the morning. They have a full schedule of fun activities, outdoor play, and art projects. It's affordable, clean and in a great location. Tami is always around to answer questions. Highly recommend!”

“This school is amazing. My son went here and then to UC. He now has a career in the sciences and got a job quickly after college. I had to call the school twice while he was there and I was greeted with compassion and concern both times. My friend's child was struggling academically and they worked with the family to get the help needed to graduate. If you want a quality 4year college bound education but also want an environment that fosters humanity, giving, kindness, collaboration, racial diversity, this may be your school. I have nothing negative to say about this school and neither does anyone I talk to. Thank you SMCHS!!”

“Albany Preschool has some of the best pre-school teachers out there. My daughter is currently in her second year and she has developed and learned so much. She started the school not speaking any English as we are a Spanish-speaking household. Not only is she now fluent in English but she is also able to sing songs in several different languages as well. The school is fully play-based so the kids are allowed and encouraged to play, explore, paint, dance and express themselves. The school incorporates science, math and reading throughout the day while playing and exploring. Teachers and families are from all over the world so I love the international flair the school has. There are two different sessions, morning and afternoon so you can choose one of the two to attend or your child can go all day. The school is a coop so parent involvement is required which really helps to foster community involvement and a safe, loving nurturing environment. I highly recommend APS and suggest prospective parents to take a tour of the school. It is also one of the more affordable pre-schools out there!!”

“We moved from another country early this year with my 4 years old daughter. I visited several preschools trying to find a small and supportive environment that could help her adapting to the huge changes.I choose Hummingbird because the environment is gentle and home-like, and the teachers are encouraging. They provide healthy snacks everyday, and help heating the lunch if the kids need - this is very important to me. The activities are nice and firmly structured, with a lot of art works and music. My daughter thrives here.We highly recommend this preschool!”
