I like the selection, and the 3 for 1 pricing for cat food. They also have a great selection. They always ask if I need help, and are happy to answer my questions. Not overwhelming - just friendly.

Long overdue 5 star rating - this place consistently employs the most helpful, friendly staff. From the time my dog got skunked at Pt. Isabel and they stayed open a few minutes late so I could grab a de-skunking agent, to the time a pet wash wasn't dispensing sufficient shampoo and they comped the wash, the people here go above and beyond. Definitely my go-to pet supply store, and the first stop after muddy hikes!

While entering this gorgeous pet store in Albany, CA., we were asked, by a beautiful girl, Asatta, could she be of help, absolutely, yes!
We needed a name tag for our Beagle, Bailey Boo & every other place between pre buying, limited styles &having to operate the machine ourselves, it seemed we’d arrived at the right place with the most fun jovial employee. She accomplished the task in no time and directed our attention to a display of 75% off toys, yey for Bailey! While we were there we saw dogs & customers enter, & it was one such pups Birthday… a celebration, treat ensued. We had so much fun & this is exactly where I like to spend my money, terrific atmosphere, Asatta & others clearly loved their jobs & why would we shop anywhere else? Well Done!

I have 2 guinea pigs and a chihuahua so I love going to these stores to grab what I need fast. Every now and then they may be out of a specific flavor but there are usually plenty of options so I still can get what I need.

I'll keep this one short, sweet and to the point.- Excellent customer service. - Location is close to several dog parks making it an ideal place to wash your doggies.- Clean and organized pet wash stations with plenty of amenities.- You can get your pet supplies for all types non-humans and human items.- Excellent customer service.

Nice place for my pet needs whenever I don’t want to drive all the way to Petco. It is a touch more expensive compare to Petco and Amazon.The bath option is nice, especially for my big dog who hates going to the groomer.

Small store but knowledgeable staff. Best of all, you buy 3 of one item and get 4th free. And as I explored foods that my allergy-prone pup could eat, found out you can return what doesn't work. You can. Also take food to them to donate tolocal shelters

At times I wash my dog here. The store is organized. I buy treats and chews here. Buy 3 and get the 4th free. My dog loves the JW Pet® Hol-ee Roller Dog Toy small ball and Chuck-it. I like Kiwi Kitchens and Small Batch foods. There's plenty of quality products. I buy K-9 natural toppers and Instinct Limited Ingredients Salmon at Healthy Spot due Pet Express not selling the products. I also like Primal toppers from here. I usually research products in advance so I know what I'm buying. Pet Express supports animal shelters so I am proud to be a customer. I prefer a smaller store than Petco.

I give a 5 to everyone that works here specially to EMILY for her help and kind heart for pets... I first called in to see if I could bring my cat to wash since I was on my way to the vet and he got an accident in his carrier and they said yes absolutely, so I got there and even the ladies who were washing their dogs were really helpful, but Emily went above and beyond to help me clean up the tray, disinfected and make me feel welcome not only me but my cat too because he was in a lot of stress. This is definitely a great place to bring your pets and thank you so much Emily for your hard work and kind heart again.If I could, I would reward you as an employee of the month

The worst most unhelpful staff of all the pet food expresses. I have gone to Berkeley, Castro valley , Hayward, and Sacramento locations and this is by far the worst.
