Amazing customer service and overall shopping experience! Preschooler and I love coming here to browse. When I want something specific, they have special ordered titles for me, as well as transferred something that was out of stock from a different store — free of charge and with a very quick turnaround. I have stumbled upon many hidden gem type books via their sale racks.

I love bookstores especially independent ones that sell used books. Asked the front desk for assistance and she was quick to help. Offered to order a book that they didn't have. Bought 3 books, 1 new/2 used total under $40. Great bargain! Would def come back. Need to check out the Oakland location.

Mind-bogglingly fast shipping and loving service! I am totally thrilled. Bought a book in the web shop this morning and by this afternoon came the message: "Your web order has been processed, and since we already had the book on hand, it should be delivered later this afternoon sometime. Also, I saw your order comment, and so I gift wrapped the book with a gift receipt and I copied your gift note onto a bookmark to include with it. Hope that works for you. Be well and stay safe!" How amazing is that! Thank you, Pegasus!!

No longer pays cash for books. I took some art and photography books there to sell recently -- some vintage and rare. I've sold books there for years and our family still buys books there.The were very polite but told me that they're trade-only now.I've chalked it up to challenges in the retail book business so I'm definitely not upset with them at all.That said it was a bit of an eye-opener about how much monetary value our books now have in the digital age.
