847 Cornell Ave, Albany“I haven’t felt a warm vibe in every shop on Piedmont and vintage stores can be kind of snobby sometimes but I’m happy to say that that frigidaire environment has NOT been my experience at Sunshine Prophecy. The vibe is super warm and inviting; There is ALWAYS good music playing; The employees there are always very patient with any of my (often MANY haha) questions; — AND I’ve never felt pressure to buy anything if I wasn’t ready. — That is especially important to me bc in order to budget I purposely do LONG leads on items I’m interested in. I might stop in once or twice and ask questions/do price checks before I finally treat myself and they always treat me like a paid customer. Clothes, jewelry, purses are cute. LOVE their witchy candles, herbs, and TAROT CARDS. It seems like the owner of this store had more of a “creative calling ” then just a bottom line in starting this business.”
“The store owner Marti is always so nice and welcoming to me. I love the earrings and necklaces and everything there. The store itself is beautiful and has many small trinkets.”

1038 University Ave, Berkeley“SIYA is a gem! This place isn’t comparable to any other Indian clothes shopping experience I’ve had. Found out about them from a family member who always has the best outfits. It’s my go to spot now. Their selection is fantastic, offering a wide range of high-quality options for all occasions. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Sonu is super helpful—both really go out of their way to style you for the events you're shopping for. I was able to get several outfits for my brother's wedding and my best friend's wedding within a day, and every piece was unique and beautiful. They even tailored everything, and the fit was perfect. One blouse needed to be fixed again and they were so kind and quick about it. They truly care that their clients are well taken care of. The prices reflect the quality you’re getting—well worth it! I also found gorgeous matching jewelry to complete my looks that the owner hand selected and was patient while I figured out what I liked best. My husband got three outfits and couldn’t be more excited to have high-quality Indian clothes, from a hassle free, fast, and easy shopping experience. Highly recommend SIYA for anyone looking for stunning Indian fashion with top-notch service!”
“This is a great place to shop for all things baseball apparel!!! And the customer service is through the roof!!! Please talk to my boy Nick he’ll hook you up and point you in the right direction.”
“Bettie made me feel like a million bucks when I was trying on sweaters, and I ended up buying two that I just absolutely love. She was so much fun to talk to. I'll be back, for sure. Thank you!”
“Pretty penny is my favorite! Every visit I find an incredible selection of clothes, jewelry and accessories at totally fair prices. The owner, Sarah, is always friendly and helpful.”
“Attended a few free seminars before the Pandemic and I would consider the training if need certification for phase one cameras. The quality of pictures in macro is fantastic on a commercial for macro editing. If needed to rent a space with phase one equipment I would consider them. Big difference using high resolution picture to regular camera back in those days.”
“THEE store to go for Mexican treasures, plus the owners are phenomenal folks. If you're in the market for high-quality, authentic, and beautiful Mexican embroidered apparel. This is where you need to shop!”

“Omg cheeky items like these napkins are wayyy more fun to stumble upon here than a random store online. They also have a great selection of candles—every scent profile from teak & tobacco, to desert cactus—and puzzles, greeting cards, and other fun frivolous debauchery.”
“Le Marche is by far my favorite Boutique, the curated products here you cant find just anywhere and Brandi's attention to detail and quality is amazing! “Al's Attire is, should be, a national treasure! Seriously, this is a retail experience like no other. The minute you walk in you'll be arrested by the aroma of leather. The multitude of colourful bolts of fabric that line the tops of merchandise, shirts pants suits, dresses, shoes , and hats. The ready to wear merchandise alone would impress anyone. But it's what lies in the stockroom, the custom merchandise that has been specially crafted for various clients that would impress you. You will definitely get the sense that something very creative, unique is going on. Your imagination will be your only limitation. Al Ribaya, the owner proprieter, has ben dressing me immaculately since the opening of this store. Some of the pieces have been off the rack but a majority of them have been custom made pieces for various special events I have attended in the past. When ever you wear Al's Attire, people will comment this is a fact. Get ready to be interrogated as to the origin of your outfit or singular piece. Also, make sure you give yourself and Al's Attire enough time to craft your one of kind piece. Get ready to really live and wear your ultimate dreams!”
“Unique store and brands and a denim sewing machine on hand to make edits to your break in length of jeans just as you want it. My husband was looking for black jeans but ended up finding a great fitting light grey pair! The Jeans were hemmed and sewn and ready the next day- awesome, cause he was needing them soon. The price is the price. They have their own brands and others I haven't seen before a lot of unique tops, sweater's, jackets to check out as well etc. Nice to discover a new place to look. Definitely check them out. We were like a broken record always going to the same place- this felt fresh. And he has a new pair of Summer jeans.”

2200 Polk St, San Francisco“Without a doubt, one of my favorite stores in the area, and honestly the main reason I drive into the city. It strikes the perfect balance between cherishing the past and embracing the present. They offer genuine vintage items of exceptional quality, such as elegant crystal glasses and a showcase brimming with delightful jewelry. Personally, I adore their metal tins filled with pralines, which I now have in various colors at home, repurposing the tins for hairclips, bathroom supplies, and more. They offer a diverse selection without feeling overcrowded. The clothing collection always reminds me of a blend between the series "Charmed" and "Gilmore Girls" from the 90s. Additionally, they showcase art that evokes memories of summer days and Gatsby parties. However, the true allure of the store lies in the delightful ladies who manage it; they pour their hearts and minds into curating and presenting the merchandise. Engaging conversations are always on offer. A visit to this store is truly nourishing for the soul.”
“This boutique is a hidden gem. They have soo many cute clothes and accessories. I literally love everything I’ve bought here and continue to come back for more. Thank you Victoria and VBoutique for the best shopping experience!!!”
“I had a fantastic experience at this store on Sunday, thanks to Teresa's exceptional service. Despite the necklace I wanted being out of stock, Teresa promptly located it in another store and arranged for it to be FedEx'd to me. She kept me informed throughout the process, and today, (Tuesday),I received the necklace and it's stunning. Teresa's professionalism and dedication made all the difference.Thank you, Teresa!”

498 Hayes St, San Francisco“We were visiting on our way home to Honolulu and stopped into this quaint clothing shop in February. I found a tropical/ethnic bathing suit on a rack with others and asked if it was on sale like the others were marked. The nice man told me the price and I bought it instantly. I've worn it at our pool at home and love it. Can't want to need another one and shop online. Thanks for your friendly staff and great men's clothing items... Aloha~”
