I have been going here for the Wash and Fold service for a few months now and I have to say... I love it! This business is owned by a very sweet and hospitable family. They are accommodating with drop off/pick up times. Service is quick and very affordable. One of my top laundry spots in the Albany/Berkeley area.

Very clean and cared for, friendly family-owned laundromat with service options. One can use a credit card for many of the machines. Comfortable. Near a vegan place and other food options.

It's clean, lots of washers and dryers, and a nice space to wait in the front. No public bathrooms, but for cheap laundry -- and with so much around it -- that wasn't a huge deal for me. No staff on when I went, either, but the place was well maintained with no issues! Will definitely be going back.

I like how nice the clerk she always is, h0wever in this my fourth or fifth visit, it is Sunday and she has a sign on the clerk office saying shell be back in 30min. (Doesnt say when tjose 30min started) Anyways Im back after 30 and shes not there. Why the sign?? Its annoying and caused me to lose energy, time and gas

The dryer in my apartment building is being repaired, and my usual back-up laundromat is shut down. I'm so happy I found Albany Washing Well! It's clean, good vibes (love the seating area), washing machines in 3 sizes, several tables for folding your clothes - and excellent coffee just 1 1/2 blocks away! I'll probably come here to do my laundry more often!

I'm here now on Sunday, 9/18/22 and everything worked as expected but the dryer #13. I put in 4 quarters and it did not turn on. There is nobody on site. A man of Indian descent came in about 20 minutes ago and turned on the TV and left the premises. I will call the phone number posted and see if the 'new management' returns my $1. If so, I will update my review to 5 stars. Thanks. This is an UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW: I called the phone number posted on the wall and I received a call from a man named Aemro and he said he would zelle me my dollar to my bank account. Incidentally, dryer #13 started working at some point, but I was already finished drying in #19. They responded very quickly on a Sunday afternoon and I now give this business a 5 stars rating and I will return. It was only a dollar but we all expect to get what we pay for and therefore we are not too happy when that does not happen. Thank you
