Would give negative star if there is one. About the worst store manager and staff encountered. Very rude people, horrible attitude, unwilling to help is one thing, treating customer badly is another.

On June 5th I brought two very large packages to the Alamo ups store for shipping. They were pet carriers. I asked the manager who by the way has a negative attitude and is always curt and angry , if the clerk could help me get the packages out of my car and bring them into the store. He said no the clerks are not allowed to leave the store. That was not my past experience, the women clerks always helped me. He said he would give me a very large dolly and I should get them into the store myself. I am an elderly women soon to be 80 years old. I took the dolly and proceeded to retrieve the two boxes. . Luckily another women customer saw what I was attempting to do and assisted me. We got the boxes into the store and he scanned only one box saying each box has its own scan code! If that is so why did he let me bring in both boxes? I let him scan the one box but the Amazon picture of the items had a 2 by the picture. Again another women customer helped me to my car. I proceeded to go to a near by ups store asked that manager if I could get help and he said yes so a clerk helped me and used the same QR code I used for the first box. This manager at the Walnut Creek Botelho street store was very pleasant and accommodating. I am still upset by the way I was treated by the Alamo store manager and I tell this story to everyone I know having the need to send a package at a ups store. I will never frequent that store again as long as he is the manager. He is in the wrong business and position. Please investigate how he treats elderly lady customers. Amazon should also not use ups as a return item vendor.

The customer service here is HORRIBLE. Do not come to this ups store at all, the guy( employee #114907) working the front counter here takes advantage of customers and has a nasty attitude. I came in today to ship 3 packages that practically weighed nothing because they were clothes and not only did the guy ask for my ID to ship 3 packages which has NEVER happened before, but he also then did not weigh the item for me to pay but measured it which is not what he's suppose to do, and according to his measurements the shipping price came out to be 44 dollars for 3 SMALL PACKAGES. this store is a complete scam and all the employees are unbelievably rude. It normally costs me y dollars total to ship 3 packages at other ups locations. Terrible service!!!

I never heard about when you want to ship some clothes that you have to provide your ID, it’s ridiculous and super rude service from this store, even my daughter shows her high school students ID but still not worked!!!

Greedy & rude.Went to drop off pre paid shipment for return - needed 15” tape to close box. Store mgr demanded $2 for it! They’re making money off the shipment & yet insisted on gouging customers for small tape! Guess what - this attitude will drive customers away & you will get less business.

STAY AWAY from this store.I called the store at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon (today) and asked if a notary was available. I was told “yes” by the male employee. I confirmed they were open until 4pm. I informed him that I would be there soon. I rode my bike 3 miles to get there and arrived shortly after 3. When I arrived I was told by the same employee that he had recently done four other notaries, and that his hand was tired from writing and he was thus unable to notarize my document.I reminded him that I had just spoken with him. He was fully aware that I was on my way to the store. He yet refused to notarize the document.Initially I thought this was a joke. But it was not. I left the store in disbelief. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If he is unable to handle the “demands” of the position, why is he working there? If I were the manager of this store, I would terminate this employee immediately. He has permanently lost my business, and no doubt has lost the business of many other customers.

I called this business ahead asking if I needed an appointment for a notary. One of the owners told me there was always a notary and they were open until 6:30. I don’t drive and went to much trouble getting a ride there by 6:15. I was informed by a young kid that their notary had left at 5 with a smug, smirk on his face. When I called the same owner the next day to complain she tried to tell me there was actually a notary there which makes no sense at all. There are UPS Mailboxes, etc in Walnut Creek. Stay far away from this business in Alamo and don’t trust them with anything or believe anything they say. The worst customer service ever.

I needed to pack and ship a heavy espresso coffee machine to Arizona. I had many questions. Piper welcomed me and began to discuss packing options, etc. When Amar recognized that I was asking about box size requirements, etc., he immediately stepped forward to assist. He, too, was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I entrusted the entire process to them, at a fair cost, and look forward to hearing that the machine arrived in excellent condition. There are other UPS stores closer to my home. I'm now a loyal Danville Blvd fan!

I called in to inquire if they do finger print cards. I asked what time they will be able to help me. I drove 25 minutes and showed up at the exact time instructed only to find the store manager giving me asshole vibes telling me that his finger print guy is on lunch. I told him that I just called in to inquire when to show up because I had a busy day and he essentially rudely rushed me out of his store. What's the point of calling ahead? Hopefully there will be a management change here soon. So rude!

I received an order from UPS that required a signature. And since I was not going to be home, I had it shipped to this store in Danville. The young lady who worked there was pleasant, helpful, efficient and quite kind. She went out of her way to help me with the package so that I could get it into my car and subsequently my home. I was very grateful she was there.

I wanted to return to Amazon, but Amer told me that they don't print return labels. It's good that Reyan helped me print the label. Overall, I give this post office a one because they keep unprofessional workers like Amer.

I like the Alamo UPS. I'm embarrassed to take quite a few Amazon things back there for return. I joke with them about it all and they politely joke with me. Kindness is what's it all about!
