“This is the best place to donate. It's a good cause and the volunteers keep the shop clean and maintain a good vibe. They are starting to price a bit high. Some things are higher priced than new in the store. Other than price they get a 5”

“Everytime I have gone here I end up getting something! Very nicely laid out and just the right blend of being organized and digging around to discover treasures. Prices are very fair too!”

“The best and cleanest boutique thrift store in the area! Really great prices on furniture too! Super sweet manager and staff! I just picked up this kitchen hutch for a steal!”

“I purchased a beautiful tea pot, and too, my surprise was that it was also a functioning music box. DUAL FUNCTION teapot, how creative is that! The ladies working there were very nice. They have 50% off on the 3rd Saturday of every month, so I will be returning.”

“Wonderful store with great prices and it’s VERY well organized! All of the employees are extremely friendly and helpful - except for the man with the beard and I think long hair (I didn’t get his name).First of all, he was rude when speaking to us. And then two people were struggling to get a piece of furniture in their vehicle and he just sat there and watched for a good five minutes without offering to help even once. Thankfully two other employees came and helped as soon as they could!”

“My favorite Hospice Thrift Shoppe! Everything is so neatly organized and the staff is friendly. They have a huge selection of clothes, furniture, and so many more.”

“This is a timeless and amazing place to shop for great value finds. Got a bit of everything for everyone. I love the hidden treasures you can find here and if you have a good eye you can spot a good bargain. Great selection and great staff working here.”

“First of all, I am grateful that stores like this exist. As other reviewers said it is a bit chaotic in there, but there is a rhyme and reason to how everything is organized. Although the selection is small, they do have every size for both boys and girls and the condition of everything I've seen from clothes, to shoes, toys, gear, and books has always been good to great. I've never left without finding something wonderful. I think the prices are very fair, maybe a dollar or two above thrift stores, sometimes on par with thrift stores. I have both purchased things for my son, and sold baby gear (clothes, swings, a pack n play) that he's outgrown. She is currently only giving store credit, which again I totally understand as I imagine retail is rough right now. A phone number would be helpful as I always want to check before loading up bigger items, but she's always been open during store hours and I have never regretted a trip down. Also it would be great if you could share what you're currently in need of, so regulars could more regularly pop in with new inventory.”

“This is a great little thrift store located across from Lafayette Park. There is a large variety of clothing, including men's clothing. There are lots of toys for kids of all ages.I went there looking for a choker necklace. However, I found a beautiful bracelet and lightweight animal print shawl. They have lots of helpful volunteers. The profits go to local charities. --”

“The store was clean and organized. The merchandise were clean and in good shape. I especially loved their book section. It was very organized and easy to browse as they were alphabetized by the author's last name. The team members were friendly and helpful.”

“This is my fave consignment shop!!! I found a beautiful crystal necklace that I will wear on one of my next adventures--oohlala! I also found some boots and a jacket that my friend might like. Divine Consign has lots of very unique items--clothing including jackets and coats, jeweiry, hats, and shoes that you probably won't find any of your friends have. They accept items for consignment, but it is important to ask Joy what they are taking before cleaning out your closet. They are a high-end consignment shop that we are fortunate to have these days. Go in to get presents for your friends or for giving a gift for yourself!!!”

“I found a winner! This lovely little thrift shop is run by such kind employees. My husband brought I. A huge load for me and they were very grateful and sweet. Wish I'd found this spot sooner.”

“Love this store! This location is further from my home compared to the Danville and Alamo shops but they have more clothes. Great selection, quality, and prices! Worth the drive for me.”

“This is a truly fantastic non profit - more than just a second hand store - TAGS is a place for teens to learn how to run a business and dive into exploring their creativity through workshops and support recycling and reuse! What a great addition to San Leandro's downtown !”

“Second-hand store where the profits go to benefit, I think for the elderly.I feel like it's "on another level". Very organized, with very good prices and a wide variety of items. You can find furniture, paintings, clothing, shoes, toys, decorative art and more.I found it by chance but I have already added it to my must-sees periodically.Oh and you can donate things for sale. They receive them from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. but if they fill up, they stop receiving that day so I advise you to go early.”

“I've gone here for years so have watched them struggle and they've made so many positive improvements the last few years in set up and quality items. It sucks that people are stealing their plants, pots, etc. from the welcoming front garden area. The prices are reasonable, it's relatively clean and organized. It's a good cause too.Whether you're picking or shopping for yourself it's a good place to stop by.”

“This is a fine small thriftshop. The goods were displayed in a manner allowing for the customer to have ready access. The staff are very willing and kind. Merchandise is well curated.”

“Nolan helped us out today. They've definitely revamped the place, much more welcoming and easy to maneuver everything is sectioned off and the feel of the place is just way better than it was before.”

“It's a great place and I've never experienced any rudeness from any of the volunteers(as described by some other customers).I like shopping so that nobody bothers me, but if I need help, I can always find someone to help without any problem. They have a nice selection of high end pieces and some vintage stuff. It's always a treasure hunt.”

“Great small-medium size nonprofit store, clean and well-kept with polite and friendly staff (volunteers). Good organization with almost all good quality / gently used pieces. (Always nice when stores do quality control.) If you like books, make sure to check out their art books, cookbooks, kids books etc. Best bets today were women’s clothing & accessories.”

“This was a great shop for thrifting! The clothing selection is small, but it’s all well gone through because the clothing is quality for a really great price. Shirts were $3 and jackets were $5. There are also furniture pieces, pretty large and brand new! The cashier was really kind too!”

“This store was really organized when I went in there yesterday. The prices were reasonable and most of the employees were nice. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. It’s expected that Goodwill doesn’t look and act like Nordstrom, but compared to other Goodwills, this one seemed really nice. Great selection. Shoes in very good condition.”

3.9 Good205 Reviews

“4 stars for the staff, the cleanliness and the ample selection of items. Zero stars for the increasing greed of Goodwill and their executives. $9.99 for a women's plain long sleeve t shirt is ridiculous and not what Goodwill is here for. It is no longer an affordable option for families in need. We can find cheaper clothing items online or for sale at other stores. And please don't comment that our shopping leads to jobs and counseling etc. Each clothing item needs to be reduced by a few dollars in order for Goodwill to be affordable for our community again.”

“This thrift store is better than I imagined. I had been in the area for other reasons and after those were complete, I decided to check out the local thrift stores. This was the second one I went to. I got some great items, from new games to designer shoes and clothing. I definitely plan to come again. The prices are a little high but honestly, the stuff I purchased was worth it.”

“Every time I visit Goodwill Concord I find stylish, choice buys in their women’s clothing. My daughter is a model and she hits this store first since she has found great pieces to add to her photo shoots. Clean establishment, always friendly staff.”

“I am in the current process of donating A LOT of stuff to this shop because of who they benefit. It's hard to find a way to support mental health services and programs without directly donating money to them. I have a special needs son and a daughter with learning difficulties. In my immediate family I also have members with anxiety, depression and ADHD. Teen and youth depression has never been higher and covid lockdown did a number on countless people. I will gladly give anything to this shop because of who they benefit. The Discovery Center has helped people I know so here I go with another load of stuff to drop off to them.”

“This location is incredible! Always friendly, helpful and kind. Makes leaving my donation less of a chore with the friendly staff. I am a dedicated contributor because of them.”

“All of the employees are so sweet and caring. It’s very clean inside and organized. There is a lot of stuff to look at. There’s even a lot of men’s clothes as well.”

“They take your stuff no questions asked.FYI no plushies, no pillows.Keep in mind that the receipt is optional, in case you ever want to save some paper. You have to fill in the value of the donation (honor system) yourself for tax purposes.”
