I was hired in 1982 to break and train all the yough horses at what was called Simpson Bridges Arabians. I've been around and watched this professional family oriented ranch till now. Take a tour you'll be happy to join the Summit Team.. TCorreia Performance Horses

I can't say enough good things about Summit Ranch and their riding program. My granddaughter has taken lessons from Ashley for several years; she really enjoys her time with Ashley and she has learned so much. The ranch is clean (as ranches go) and everyone is very friendly. Ashley works hard with her students, she's patient and encouraging. Thank you Summit Ranch for making my granddaughter's experience so enriching. Lyn Kael

We moved our horse here after not having great luck finding a family/kid friendly (or friendly at all) barn in the East Bay. The people at Summit were welcoming & kind. There is no drama there , the owner and managers are professional and very knowledgable horse people. It is a beautiful ranch, with trail access, nice arenas and there are excellent trainers there. My kid is in the apprenticeship program and loves it. We recently sold our horse but our teen wanted to stay in the program anyway and gets to ride different horses and is learning a lot. Great program. We have been in the horse world for a few years in the Bay Area and Summit is unique!

I was going to send my child here for lessons and inquire about boarding here until I found out that this facility has a cell phone tower hidden in their water tower and they are applying to have a 2nd cell phone tower approved. No way would I want my kid or horse near that type of RF exposure. I hope the owner/management team changes their mind about installing this type of equipment. This is so irresponsible.

Just went to watch a friend ride. Very comfortable and well made barns. People seem friendly and professional, and the horses seem happy.

This is not a healthy place for horses. The barns are infested with huge (like a foot long) rats that the owners put poison out for. My horse was terrified of the guy who cleaned her stall, leading me to believe he had mistreated her, as she never has acted that way before. I never saw the owners caring for their own horse (left in his stall, would weave). That should have been a red flag that these owners were not good horse people and it is reflected in the care given to horses boarded there.

RIDERS, BOARDERS, NEIGHBORS AND WILDLIFE BEWARE.I am extremely disappointed to find out there is a cell phone tower hidden by a water tower at Summit Ranch Equine Center. Their first tower was erected during 2016. They now have an application on file to have a 2nd tower on their property accompanied by flood lights. I would never have my child ride here or board my horse here. Why would I want to expose them to unnecessary radiation? It is also extremely inconsiderate to do this considering the negative impacts of cell towers on our health, property values and the environment. How do you have a horse facility and not care about the RF emissions you are exposing your animals, staff, customers and neighbors too?

I have never visited the place, it's 6hrs away from me. And somehow they have my credit card information on file and they have billed me twice in the past 30 days. November 14 & December 22nd. I am looking into having a fraud and theft investigation launched against this company. I would not trust this company with debit card or credit card information. Any company that allows their employees to manually enter your credit card information is not trustworthy.

I think it is absolutely absurd that someone posts some garbage on Nextdoor requesting everyone give this business a 1 star review because of a request to build a cell tower. I don't know anything about the cell tower, I am just writing this review to tell everyone Summit Ranch is an awesome place, that cares for their surrounds, their animals, the boarders, and everything else that goes with being a top-notch outfit. I know first hand because my daughter has had her horse out there for almost 6 years now, and they are great, in all aspects of professionalism and well-being for the riders and the animals.

This is a large barn with all the options! Friendly, knowledgeable trainers/instructors and the very best in horse boarding and care. It is a very special place and definitely well run.

Great spot for my retired show horse. Everyone is friendly and in the Bay Area it’s hard to find a good spot.
