Compared to other BoA branches in the bay area, this one is welcoming and very helpful. I've only had pleasant experiences here.

I had to solve a frustrating bank fraud issue yesterday. Pegah reached out to me and worked hard for over 2 hours and took care of it! I am with BOA for over 20 years, it feels like family, so appreciated!

Why is this building even here? I went in with a business question. No one at the front desk. I found a lady around the back who somewhat rudely pointed out that she couldn't help me and told me to speak to the manager before instantly dismissing me with absolutely no possibility of asking a follow-up question. The manager was nowhere to be found. Hovered around for about 10 minutes, then left.

Pegah helped my friend open a bank account - my friend barely spoke any English, and so was nervous. I was there to help with the translation, but Pegah was so kind and patient that i probably didnt need to be there. Pegah was also incredibly helpful when i called to ask about difficult questions. Thank you!!!

Unfathomably Terrible. It is impossible to imagine a bank branch that is run more inefficiently, that has worse customer service, and that was designed more poorly than this one. I don't even think it's worth my time explaining this to anyone else. But it is absolutely the worst. The staff are inept. They can't handle any reasonable requests or expectations. And the design is absolutely absurd. It is telling to see how many one star reviews begin with essentially the same words: Worst branch anywhere!

Jaime and Queta were the ones that helped me to open a bank account. I had alrady tried in 3 different ones so I was super relieved when they told me that it was possible to do it there. They were very professional, kind, close and made me feel very comfortable during the process. I strongly recomment this bank because the experience was otherwordly. Jaime thanks for everything!!!

I have been a BofA customer for over 10 years and this is the worst service of any financial services company. Avoid at all costs.

I love going to BofA Alamo over any other BofA. Babyetta and Luis are alway friendly and helpful. I wish others would give them a break when visiting and contact Corporate. They are just doing their jobs. The state of the world is not there faults.Give Grace to those hard working people.

What bank doesn't open until 10am? Absolutely ridiculous. Everytime I go into the branch it's a complete disaster, takes me forever to get anything done and they close at 4pm- must be a nice workday to only be accountable for 6 hours!

The location is convenient, yet, the service is the worst I have had in the last thirty years of using any banks!!! The staffs there don't seem to care about anything. They frequently close the branch without any prior notice-- supposedly, they only have three staffs scheduled to work on Fridays, anyone of them " sick", they would have to close the branch. Too bad if you need access to your safe deposit box!! They don't even bothered to post a note at the door about their abrupt closure, there are often people kicking/ pulling the locked doors on Fridays since they saw the light on and there were any signs of closure. There was another time I waited a long line to get to the ATM, only to find there was no cash, so I did the driveway, after waiting, there was no cash again! I went in the branch to tell them, they said, yeah, it was out of cash since yesterday. Duh?! can't post a sign at where people wait? How much they don't care about customer service that they think it is funny that people que up then realized it was a waste of time? There was another time that the ATM was out of service , but you wouldn't know until you were there with the card inside. After seeing a few cars lined up and then left in frustration, I went to talk to the branch manager. Of course he was aware of the situation but did nothing to tell customers!!!

I made the very big mistake of moving my accounts to BofA from another large bank because I was interested in a better Brokerage platform, it was the worst decision I could have made. I feel like I have stepped back 30 years in time, their online capabilities could not be worse and then they force you into a branch and there is no one who can actually help you. I first moved my brokerage account which went pretty seamlessly then one of their Branch managers insisted on helping with a checking account but I had trouble accessing it, tied to him setting it up incorrectly, and never received a debit card so I used the online site to open in, it took longer than it should have but I finally got it open and the debit cards. Then we were in the market for a Mortgage and again I tried their online application, and it kept losing my data in the middle of the application, it would not even allow me to enter my Merrill account as an asset. I called in and getting help from a mortgage consultant was near impossible they really only support East Coast times and they told me the Application is new and terrible so it is best to work with someone (problem is no one is ever available). Most recently, I had to open a joint account with my daughter (minor) as she just got a job and needs a checking account. I opened the online application as a joint application, spent 20 minutes filling all in, they sent her an email asking her to upload passport, etc but then it kept taking her in a loop. I called in and they said they don't actually accept minor applications on the phone - the Application should have indicated that. They are now telling me I can come into a branch and it will only take 30 mins after spending 20 minutes so 50 minutes to open a checking account!!! Most fintech can open a checking account in under 5 mins. So they told me to make an appointment in the Branch and there are no appointments so I showed up at this Alamo branch and they actually don't talk to customers any more unless you have an appointment. I am looking forward to moving to Chase, worst service I could ever imagine. I rather do everything online but their online capabilities are minimal and then they encourage you to come into a branch where no one works?

Your $$ is NOT SAFE -i've been trying to clear up a fraud charge that was admittedly the banks fault for a week.....still no money in my account or help. I have a lot of messages left, transferred phone calls that were dropped and frustration though. Save your headache and take your business to another big bank like Chase
