I can't say enough wonderful things about this school. We had both our daughter and son attend from the time they were 2 1/2 years old till 5 years old. This school has helped in making them the intelligent, outgoing and happy kids they are today. They offered creative artistic learning projects that pleased both kids and parents, alike. I have full trust in all of the teachers there. Miss Lisa does an incredible job managing the school as well as creating programs to correct behavior when your child goes through their "tough periods," which they all do. All of the teachers communicate very well through a wonderful app which I have always appreciated and occasionally send pictures of your kids on classroom celebrations like holidays. Going into elementary school, our kids were at the top of their class from the preparation given to them by Alamo Country School. I balled my eyes out on our youngest's last day there. We will miss this special place and so will our kids.

The last of my two kids just "graduated" from Alamo Country School and is off to kindergarten. ACS was a great start for my kids' long journey through school. The classrooms are clean and bright, with lots of books and toys for each age group. The outdoor areas and play equipment are also very nice. I appreciate that healthy snacks are served every day, and the school uses a messaging app to send announcements and contact parents with updates.I feel like my kids left ACS with an excellent academic base, covering subjects like numbers, letters, colors, shapes, weather, and more. They practiced cutting, coloring, gluing, and painting with the many arts and crafts projects they were proud to show me each week. Most importantly, I felt like my kids were safe at the school and I could trust the teachers to take care of them. I highly recommend Alamo Country School to any parent looking for a quality preschool for their child.

Two thumbs way up for this little country preschool! I was so thrilled when a spot opened up for my firstborn back in 2016. The differences between ACS and the prior school we were at are incredible. The grounds are clean and well kept, the toys and equipment are frequently updated, there is a small-town community feel, and the teachers are all the BEST at what they do! I started my second child at ACS the day he turned 2, and again, the difference between ACS and the in-home daycare he was at was staggering. Lisa runs a really great program that keeps kids having fun while learning and being safe. My youngest son is off to public school soon and I have the upmost confidence that ACS has him completely ready and prepared to succeed in the years ahead. Thank you ACS for 6 wonderful years of love, learning, and care!

I strongly do not recommend this preschool. We sent our first child here and enjoyed it. When we decided to send our second child, we warned the school he has symptoms of ADHD. They said it wasn't a problem; they'd work with him. They didn't. They expelled him after two half days and used wildly inappropriate phrases like "not normal" and "not a fit for our culture" multiple times. Our son returned to his original preschool and is thriving, doing all of the things ACS leadership said he'd never do. But they traumatized him. For a week after his brief stint there, he repeatedly asked us if he wasn't bad anymore. Months later he still asks me about once a week why that teacher didn't like him.

Far exceeds most other preschools! Excellent curriculum and a wonderful caring staff. I've personally observed the students and teachers working together on countless occasions. The structure is similar to those of top rated schools in the area, but geared toward a hands on, fun education which is guaranteed to have kids excited about going.... And sometimes they don't want to leave! The classroom setting and socialization prepares kids for kindergarten while giving them a head start on curriculum and social skills needed to walk in to their next school with confidence & ready to learn (and in some cases, re-learn what has already been taught) I can't say enough great things about the staff. I've mostly worked with Lisa and Michelle- both of which are phenomenal. Super cute farmhouse style setting with plenty of room for the kids to play and roam while getting lots of exercise and gaining motor skills. If your considering preschool, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!

Small, close-knit and caring teachers at Alamo Country school. Started our child in the Toddler program at 2yo and couldn’t be happier.
