My comments are a little different than the normal ones. I had been a client at Park Centre since the 80's with many pets over the years. My very difficult dog was seen by Cathy Wydner in 1990 and from that time on, I never looked back as the appointment went so smoothly. I moved to AZ in September 2020 with 2 dogs and three cats. Quite an adventurous drive. We made it safely but in January 2021, I had to euthanize at my new vet one of my cats who had cancer. In early June 2021, I was so surprised to receive an acknowledgment from UC Davis of a donation made in my cat's memory, What struck me is that this was 8 months after I had moved and was no longer a client. Quite a compassionate thing to do and reflective of the care that I received over the many years. I was never disappointed in the clinic. This last gesture of kindness won't be lost in my memory.

Fair and care. Love how they treat our fur baby like their own family. They are a big part of our aging French Bulldogs life.

We loved Park Centre Animal Hospital for the past 8 years, seeing them regularly for our cat's physicals and flee medicine. Recently our cat got sick, and we had a terrible experience with Doctor Wallace. She was patronizing, judgmental, and extremely unprofessional. She said, "You said you didn't have any money" when we asked to get a specific scan done for our cat after we had disclosed that we did not have extensive funds to treat our cat's lymphoma as rigorously as we would like to. This is a completely inappropriate way to speak to a patient. This is also hurtful for us as this is a hard time for our family grappling with the potential loss of our beloved kitty. We will be transferring to a different vet that has more compassion and professionalism.

5x as expensive as their competitors with half the ability. The doctors here missed obvious issue with my dog and charged an arm and a leg to do it. Go anywhere else.

Ripping off expensive They alway try get your pet do theses and that to make more money and don't let them do the nails for your pet it's cost $32 do at Petco only $10 Some of the nurses look like racist Every time my wife bring the dogs for check up the doctor want our dog do X-ray and blood test so they can make more money. They know the owner loves their pets so they will listen whatever the doctors said.... so watch out

I appreciate what they did for my dog, however this place is super pricy. I spent over $800 here on an appointment, blood work, and some medication. That's a lot of money to spend when we are in a pandemic and I cannot go back to work yet. In addition, they said my dog needs surgery and referred me to a vet hospital in Oakland. I called over there and made an appointment, hoping they could help since they were referred by Park Centre. They charged me $125 for a 15 minute appointment, and then quoted me $10,000 for the surgery. I had to decline. As a single mom who cannot work, $10,000 is a lot of money. It's a lot of money period. Thanks for the help, tho.

I've been taking my 1 year old pup Jeter here since he was only 10 weeks old. They've been so wonderful through all his vaccines. Today they fit us in their schedule because he had a foxtail stuck in his paw and they were so kind and took great care of him while he was in a lot of pain. I appreciate them so much and all they do, and can't say enough great things. Highly recommend for your little furry loved ones! All the vet techs are wonderful and they got our boy the pain medicine he needed right away!

We recently made the heart-wrenching decision to euthanize our sweet dog Ginger, who we rescued from a shelter in LA 13 years ago. She developed multiple serious health problems, some of which came on quite suddenly, and all continued to worsen and compromise her quality of life during the COVID pandemic. Thankfully, we were able to connect with Pet Hospice in Berkeley for in-home euthanasia (cannot recommend them highly enough). There were a lot of tears, sleepless nights, trips to the emergency vet, scheduling specialty appointments, and just overall uncertainty leading up to our decision. Dr. Applegate at Park Centre was such an incredible source of support during this stressful time and went out of her way to reach out to specialists, squeeze Ginger in for same day appointments, and help us make the most informed decision possible. I've had dogs my entire life and I've never encountered a vet who is so thoughtful, patient, and diligent. In addition, the staff members at Park Center have always been professional and very sweet with Ginger, which we have always appreciated.

I brought my anxious dog Noodle here for the first time last month and I'm so happy I did! For the first time, I felt like I found a vet who listened to me, and actually cared about my dog. Noodle had to be sedated to get some biopsies of her lumps, the vet agreed to also give her a nail trim and full exam during the sedation and also prescribed some anti-anxiety meds to help noodle visit in the future. Due to size of 1 lump and location of the other lump, we got referred to a surgeon. The day after our visit, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call checking on noodle. And when I called day after, because her lump had ruptured, they prescribed antibiotics over the phone after I sent some emails with pictures, and they were ready in about an hr. So responsive. It's been about 2 weeks since Noodle had surgery at the surgeon that we were referred to by park Centre, and I was surprised this morning to get a call from Park Centre again checking on Noodle! Their customer service, especially during the time of the virus has won me over, I'll def be making them my primary vet for my other dog as well.

Monica, one of the vet techs, was wonderful with my nervous little dog. She went above and beyond to make my pup feel safe. Her patience and kindness made a huge difference in our visit.

Just took my cat to Park Centre Veterinary Clinic and had an excellent experience regarding my cat. Dr. Virginia Lo & her staff are friendly and professional without mincing words or meanings to get the proper care for your pet. I highly recommend them!

Too expensive, no compassion. We've been taking both cats here for 2 years. They are pricey and always try to "up sell" some lab work or extra service. When we finally had an actual emergency during business hours they said "it's Friday at 5P, we're not able to help" and hung up. They close at 6P, so, yeah, they don't care.
