Incredibly sweet woman behind the counter every time I visit this store. Always makes me feel welcomed and she's always incredibly kind. I definitely enjoy coming here. Only critique is not every liquor or alcoholic beverage is priced, but if you really want it i don't see why that matters. You can always just ask

If you have to send money through this western Union you should definitely use the fifth amendment (The Right to Remain Silent). The woman there asks so many unnecessary, weird, and uncomfortable questions that YOU DONT HAVE TO ANSWER and her reason is because she cares about her customer lol. I tried to go along with her but she was hella rude and makes you feel uncomfortable . Most of these reviews and people tend to have the same experience with her way of dealing with her customers. My advice is don't go there if you don't have to. Lots of alternative elsewhere.

I read the other review on here about getting shorted $10, just because I was looking for their hours. I wound up going over and buying two popsicles for $1.99 each. Paid with a $20. Got $6.02 back, but of course didn't notice until the morning. Stupid me. Check your change. Can't see how that would be an accident.

OMG, I can't believe this liquor store is still open! I used to live around the corner, and stopped by a few times. I'm giving them 3-stars because it's tough running a store on Webster Street. After the Navy base shutdown, the Webster St stores struggled. But that's no excuse for rude service and selling expired foods. I stopped coming here for a jug of milk when I saw them selling milk way past the expiration dates. The lady cashier explained that it's still good, just drink it right away. The cashier is behind tons of merchandise on display. Sometimes she's talking on a cellphone, and doesn't pay attention to customers. I would be standing there asking about lottery tickets, and she ignores me. So expect a snappy response. So read the reviews, and take a chance......good luck.

Today my sister went into Western Union to go send some money to my father in Mexico. When she got in the store the man was on a personal phone call my sister waited until he was done but he continued talking he just called her over using his hands asking what did she need she said she needed to send some money didn't ask for her ID said that who was she sending money to set two names my sister asked what is the second name I don't recognize that name she said. He went on to say oh I cannot disclose that information it's protocol she's like I'm only asking you to repeat what you just said you already said it. He started to get loud with her so my sister felt like she was being disrespected so as well she got loud with him and told him that next time do not be on a personal phone call while he's taking care of a customer it's unprofessional. At the end he was just very rude unprofessional. He continued to ask personal questions about who I was sending money to and what were they to me. Asking about my grandparents that are deceased, him not knowing that triggers me in a very uncomfortable way .Why does he need to know about my family members and what I'm sending to them. He was assuming that it was my grandparents I was sending money to when they are both deceased. I just wanted to come on here and let everybody know that his name is Ram he work this morning I walked in at 10 a.m. can I felt very uncomfortable. How was the only one in the store and he was the only employee working at the time this is why I feel that he was very disrespectful there was nobody around for him to see the way he was treating me and this cannot happen again it is so acceptable and I hope that he read this and understand that he cannot treat people this way. I used to come to this location at least three times a month but now I will find a different location due to his unprofessionalism.

I was discriminated against for having cancer. The woman cashier saw a wound vac around my neck, asked what it was for, I replied 'breast cancer' and she refused to sell me a bottle of wine a candy bar and a pack of cigarettes. How is it any of her business????? I called the next day (today) to speak with the owner, but the same employee was working - first pretended to be the owner, then hung up on me and now the phone isn't being answered at all.

Make sure to count your change before attempting to walk away. The female clerk shorted me $10 change. I tried to explain to her there's no way I had a 10 dollar ill, I just came from ATM, it only gives $20. She still refused to check the register and give me my correct change. I'm currently waiting for the police to come now! They dont ever have to worry about shorting me again, because I'll never be back. However she will get y'all so check your change! Only 1 star given because I had to, they deserve an unhappy face rating!
